Actually, me and Nero had a conflict for that role so..
Edward looked through the hunt magically, looking for a nice victim. He wanted someone who was strong-willed, as weak-willed people were hardly anyone who was fun, though preferably someone already hurt as they would be easily to lure and quicker to break. He would want his errand-boy properly trained before the end of the day. Quickly scanning the seen, he seen the prefect subject. Well, possibly the prefect subject. He didn't really bother looking to hard, if this one wasn't right, he could always just throw him back into the hunt or give him to the cafeteria. He heard they had a bit of shortage anyways.

However, he didn't wish to appear in the chaos of battle. So instead, he conjured in front of his soon-to-be foot-servant a very slightly and short dust devil like effect. A person, slightly wounded, leaning against a tree. (Azurial). Over the short dust devil was a soft blue light which projected a sound that said, "I can get you away from this hunt if you deserve, however I need your permission to help. Allow me to help you." that sound was that of the blue fairy, as Edward had a bit of sense of humor.

Lyre shock her head no to the offer of the hunt. "I am sorry. Hunting those bags of flesh is not what I would call entertaining. And sorry to intrude, but how is Sarah? She appears to take an unusually long vacation." she said. She know the implication of that and that Sarah was probably up to something and that the Manager knew, however she knew it wasn't her place to know until it was her place to know. It might make for a fun story once it all said and done though.

She then decided to sit on one of the chairs in the office to wait for further instruction. To help pass the time, she took out her instrument and gently and lightly plucked at its strings. It song it made was expertly preformed, as though she has played the lyre, if not her particularly lyre, for all her life, which she knew was over one thousand, though not much more than that.
Who are we waiting on to post?
Name: Andrew Buk
Age (18-30): 18
Gender: Male
Role (bodyguard/descendant/staff/pure-blood): Bodyguard
Apartment No (choose from Character Slots): 5A
Appearance (descriptive or anime images only):
1. Human Form: Andrew doesn't look particularly impressive or unique. Some unique features about him is he is abnormally tall and have almost glowing forest green eyes. He has quite short brown hair. He wears very casual clothes for his role as a bodyguard that normally includes throwing on some blue jeans and a t-shirt. Other than that, he looks like a rather normal person.
2. Yokai Form: He doesn't have one he can currently take, he isn't rather sure why and doesn't really let it bother him so he never looked into it.
Race: Leshy
Abilities: Shapeshifting, mostly into animal forms, however with concretion and some practice he can take humanoid or yokia forms, though rarely can he ever mimic a person appearance completely, however he has got close before but their is almost always lots of little things to give him away. Having way to many freckles or not enough freckles. Having the hair color or eye color be a completely different shade and things of that nature. His size limit is not quite as good as full-blood leshy, having his limit be somewhere between the size of a mouse and a full-grown horse or bear or any other moderate sized animal, however animals such as elephants and giraffees are, at least for now, out of his reach.

He may copy biological abilities of animals, but never supernatural abilities. His shape-shifting also cannot be exact to the cellular level, and as such can never fool DNA testing. (For clarification, the DNA will still be that of the animal/race he is copying, just never an extant person or animal)

Prefect Voice imitation and the ability to speak to animals.

Size-shifting

Strengths/Weaknesses: As stated in his abilities, his shape-shifting is not unlimited. He has a reasonable size restraint and while it is flexible and subject to change, he can't simply become microscopic or grow to the height of skyscraper. And while his gerenal shape-shifting is rather solid, and could fool even professionals, his specific shape-shifting is rather lacking and could be found out by anyone with a passing knowledge of the person in question if they look close enough. When shape-shifting into an animal, he has complete control over his body, however animal like urges can seek in and influence how he behaves. When shape-shifting into high-level forms he doesn't have this problem as logic over-rides basic urges in these forms.

Bio: Andrew has lead a pretty regular and not very spectacular life. His parents were both from Russia, although he hasn't set foot in the motherland, albeit he has learned Russian mostly out of obligation. When his mother was still pregnant, she moved to the United States in a small town in Alabama. Whenever he asked about his father or why she left Russia, she remained quiet, but eventually he figured out the mostly likely reason and stopped asking.

Andrew has always a B-student and an almost athletic. His mother always said it was because he never tried, and she would be current. His mother always wanted to do something with his life, join the one the competitive academic teams like debate or a competitive sports team like football or basketball or something, however he has always seem to take the path of least resistance, and the clubs he joined was chess, and a soccer team that barely practiced more than week and the same torn nets since the start of his school. In order to try to put some work ethic in him, his mother signed him up to be a bodyguard at Primrose. He also felt like it would a be a good chance for him to see the other half of his heredity now that he is older, and while he has some basic knowledge about them, he had very little contact with other Yokai.
Other: Maybe will be useful later
I normally let the GM always do the actual time-skipping otherwise, the time table can get very confusing very fast.
I am still interested, I am just sort of waiting for Hanged to post.
Next post I am probably going to have Edward try to pick out someone "to rescue" from the hunt. In other words, lock in a cage and slowly windle away at their sanity until they become his errand-boy. Edit- Any volunteers.
Lyre walked into the Manager's office, the very blue-themed maiden walked with a prefect step. Her balance seemed befitting to do that silly thing humans use to do with keeping books on their heads to seem more proper. However for Lyre, she didn't need any fancy training, or at least that is what she thought, since every part before coming to this hotel has been a blur, however for her best recall, she believes her grace comes completely naturally.

She keep her beloved golden enchanted lyre on her back, for one, its presence seems to always have a very calming effect to it. It serves like an anchor to keep her in the present, while still trying to hold on to the past. And plucking at its marvelous strings seemed to always calm her down or allow brief solace from the mundane nature of paperwork. Not only that but you can never be to certain. She is rather powerless against humans without, for normal sirens rely on their singing, a gift she doesn't own, that or it was taken from her, she still can never remember; she relies on her lyre. It and the clothes on her back, though she has obviously changed since then, where the only things she remembers bringing away from the assault that robbed her of her memories.

When she approached the Manager, she stood straight up and bowed slightly. While the message she delivered was rather regular and mechanical, she still addressed it very seriously and as properly as humanly, or in this case inhumanly, possible. "Sir, I would like to inform you that the my routine paper-work is finished, filed, and digitally recorded. Is there any other work you wish for me to attend to? I hear their might be some complaints in the cafeteria about them not having enough humans to prepare do to the hunt."
My interest has been peaked.
I will probably post my first post with Lyre after your next post with the Manager.
