Godspeed!

Right now, I am waiting on Cyclone for my next post. But you don't need to rush to much since I am still thinking of what to use my last two might on. I have some ideas, but it might be to early for a lot of them. Like I plan on creating agriculture, put we don't really even have proto-civilization yet.

Regulus paused, tuning his senses to the new god approached him. After a moment of confirming with his divine sense, he nodded. "Well met, Promus. I have not seen much of this world, yet I can already see the danger of the evil gods pose. I will not lose another home to the darkness. If you truly have loving and noble heart, then I will be your ally."

As he said this, he took his spear to the sky and whirled it around collected the wind itself. He then took his spear and plunged it into the sand below, imbuing it with his divine power. In a flash of light, giant lions with angelic wings appeared. As the soul fungus imbued the creations with souls, "These are my griffins, agents of my will. Go forth and defend the skies and the earth from the forces of corruption."

He looked out into to the sea, and could see that corruption had spread to a place where his griffins could not reach. He took the sand from the beach and crushed it into a rock. He caused the rock to glow with energy before throwing it out to sea. As it hit the water, he began to grow and expand. Once it finished growing, it took the form of a sea turtle that was the size of a small island. "And you will be the Island Turtle, defender of the sea and its inhabitants."

Summary/ Might Usage

Regulus greets Promus as ally, and created the griffins and The Island Turtle, as defender of life and order.

Used one might to create an extraordinary non-sentient species - Griffins

Within a world destroyed by chaos, two fragments of gods neverborn floated together and merged. A god of civilization, and a god of nature, both dead by birth but their essence remaining, whirling together to make something new. Within the oppressive space of the destroyed world, and with neither side becoming domant, the new god could yet be born.

The essence of the godling heard the call of the other god, and was pulled towards the door. And yet, it was to weak to pass though in its current state. However, as the world was populated with sentient life, their being resonated with the essence. They were also under siege by the forces of chaos, as his world has been. With this, the fragment of civilization won out. With unity of purpose, the two separate forces became one, and began to form a single god of civilization that could pass through the gate.

He entered the world with a roar announcing his presence, followed by the loud declaration, "I am Regulus, patron of the strong, defender of the weak, harbringer of order." slamming his spear against the sand of the beach.

He felt the presence of the chaotic gods, and yet he was still young. He did not yet have the power to banish or kill them yet. He did not speak to any of the other gods, as his senses were unrefined, and he could not quite tell friend from foe and he was still scarred by what little memories he had of the old world.

Summary/Might

Regulus was born from another world destroyed by chaos, from two half-formed gods. He heard the call, and was born as a god of civilization as he crossed the threshold, pulled to this world by the newly formed sentient life. He is now looking around, not going up to anyone because he was just born and what memories he had before that from when he was just essence was of a dead world destroyed by chaos.

Civilization (Domestication)

At its most fundamental level, domestication is the act of creating order from chaos. To bind that which is wild to the will of the civilized. To Regulus, chaos is death and order is life. While both are necessary, one does not need to promote chaos, except in the most extreme of situations. For as a boulder will roll down a hill, the world will fall towards chaos and death. It is thus his divine duty to promote life and order.

While all life has value, hierarchy is natural in all things. Without hierarchy, there is chaos, and chaos is death. Thus it is the right of the strong, of the wise, of the intelligent, to rule the weak, the foolish, and the ignorant. Though, one must rule with benevolence and grace in order to be favored by Regulus.

Lawful Good

Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ

Regulus is a benevolent and caring god. While he values all life, he does not value all life equally. He values strength, intelligence, and nobility, as will use his divine power to reward those who demonstrate those traits.

He will state that he values order above all else. He greatly appreciates innovation, and encourages self-improvement and growth. Otherwise, he is quite resistant to change, and frowns upon wanton destruction, and madness. Though, in reality, he does truly care for the well-being of life, and can simply get angry because he does care deeply about it and he can be to stubborn to admit his failings. He sees suffering as a necessity evil, a fire to forge life into something greater and to teach them temperance, but can be over-protective at times.

Gᴏᴀʟs

Regulus seeks only to safe guard, and nurture life. While even he is unsure if it is possible, his wish is to create a mortal paradise for all living things to live in, and to remove the influence of what he refers to as "The Evil Gods" from the world of the living.

Aᴘᴘᴇᴀʀᴀɴᴄᴇ

Regulus appears as a tall humanoid with a gold skin tone. His face still more angular and jutted than a human, and his teeth are sharp but otherwise his anatomy is human-like. He has long, bright gold hair that comes down to his neck. He wears a very fancy, purple vest, and similarly fancy brown trousers. He is almost always seen wielding a spear, which handle is made of gnarled oak wood, and point is made of a sparkling blue crystal, bound together by vine and a golden metal band.

Are you still accepting, if so I have an idea I have to throw in the ring. I haven't read the IC yet, but you are accepting I speed-read it before I make my character. Though right now I am planning to have a God of Domestication. Though, I am not sure if that would be considered Nature or Civilization. I quickly looked through the CSes to see what domains were taken, and with how many evil and chaotic gods there is, it seems like this world needs some more Lawful Good.
