Needless to say, accepted. =P
Please do help, I'm floundering here.

My love of Star Trek besides nostalgia factor comes a lot from the character concepts- I'm a character stylist at heart, and I really appreciate the complex network of bonds and relationships among the characters, especially that 'cozy family' feeling that really evolves in TNG. I also know a little bit more about the biology of the races, because I'm a creature designer as well and find that interesting. As far as technical details like rankings and types of starships, let's just say reach me if you want to know anything and everything about Pokemon- but when it comes to 'Trek I'm dead in the water.

But seeing my characters back story being what it is, I think it'd be for the best

Yeah, it just really depends. I'd like to think Macbeth has probably avoided close contact with people because he doesn't know who's out hunting him down.
Mine's the same age, and I was going to make him even younger to start with. Depends on how long they've been out on their own I think, though. This seems like a world that doesn't care what age you are, just if you can survive or not.
That just shows how little advanced reading I've done in the expanded universe- All I've ever done is watch the shows since I was a kid and pick up what I can from them, so all of this just blows right by me. I'm sure some of those really serious hardcore guys would say I wasn't a true fan because of it. =P

Can I reserve the Chief Engineer? CS will be up after school. (8 hours)

No prob.
I was thinking about adding something about a science officer but I notice they're kinda sketchy about the specifics of what that means. I mean in TOS it's pretty obvious Spock is the science officer but in TNG there are a lot more people wearing blue (Plus, Bones, Dr. Crusher and Julian from DS9 all have blue uniforms, so it can mean medical staff too) and no one in particular gets called that.
That's reasonable. I'm down with that.
Okay, as long as you can promise to stay within reasonable limits of the series. XD Anyways, it is about seeking out new life, I'm assuming they're discovering new species all the time...so should I list her as a medical officer's assistant or perhaps civilian crew?
Sounds great! I have a feeling some characters would want to beat mine up if they where familiar with him and knew his history, though. XD Maybe there was some pre-story character development there.
I'll have to think about that, I really don't know about original species since that's kind of the thing I do in my other RP and I don't want to repeat myself. Also I know it's kind of your thing, but I'm not a big fan of the overly sexualized pictures or character concept for this RP. I mean, it's Star Trek, so there is a little bit of that, but it always tries to be at least somewhat kid-friendly and open to younger fans.

Also, this has nothing to do with your character, but I'd just like to say that the Borg are likely to get less exposure with me because I'm not as big on them (or Voyager and 7 of 9) like some people are. They'll be there, just probably not as arch villains.
