I miss writing. Alot. Journaling is all well and good, but there's something about creative writing. I get excited about it! So, here's to a year of doing what excites me. It's time for a change.

Which is ironic because she's only been regent for maybe four or five months tops. Also, her own nobles are conspiring against her or, at the very least, hoping she'll marry one of their family members. Of course, the king wouldn't know that. All he would see is an influential, unmarried high lady with the backing of Houses Vandemar, Traven, and Maddox. Misunderstandings and miscommunication seem to be the currency of choice in settings like these lol.

EDIT: Moved Gwen over to the 'Character' thread.
Also, as a side note, I'm thinking that the Heartlands probably aren't on great terms with the Crownlands right now. They barely contributed anything to the Northern War, which also happened to be the war that cost Brythunnia its king. Just a thought I had :)
Sweet. I'll move her over once I have access to my computer again. Thanks, Oak7ree.
She's done! I've also added the heraldry and leaders of all the current Heartlander houses. I figured that, after Lord Hawthorne's betrayal, House Hawthorne no longer exists. Let me know what I need to change. Now, I'm off for family crap. Happy Turkey Day again, all!
Just need to edit my 'History' and I'm good to go. Looking forward to this.

EDIT: 'History' will be done tomorrow for sure. Too tired to do it now. Happy Turkey Day, all.
Got bored and added house words to the House Vandemar and Maddox spoilers.
That might work. Also, depending on where Claret starts in relation to the King's bastard, maybe Lady Night could pass through the Heartlands and meet Gwen that way? I don't know. Just brainstorming. Anyways, I'll have my CS finished up either today or tomorrow at the latest. The 'History' section always takes the longest.
Might be a good way to start the story off, though I'd be interested to see where it goes from there.

EDIT: My only concern is how Gwendolen and Ozymandias' characters would get involved. Any thoughts?
Nobles with grand, overblown names for things?! Never! Lol :P
Oak7ree: I saw you put Castle Greenstone in the first post! I like you already lol. Just FYI, unless you hate the idea, Castle Greenstone is at the center of Whitecreek. Also, the ruler of the Heartlands sits on the Rose Throne. Just some random tidbits I came up with. I love me some world-building. Thanks again for paying attention to the little details.
