I miss writing. Alot. Journaling is all well and good, but there's something about creative writing. I get excited about it! So, here's to a year of doing what excites me. It's time for a change.

Throwing my interest in as well.
@Crosswire I'm copying @Utrax mostly because I'm bored lol. Here's my brief write-up for Boogie's Beans.

#11 Boogie’s Beans: Boogie's Beans is a large red brick building with a distinctive roof covered in dark green tiles. The interior has a high-ceiling and is divided into several sections. The first and largest is the dining area, which has enough booths and whitewood tables to accommodate one hundred patrons. While the booths are bolted down, the circular tables can be moved aside to create an open space that’s perfect for dancing or large gatherings. The kitchen and bathrooms can be found to the left of the dining area, though they’re separated by thick walls. Rebecca Sinclair’s office is next to the kitchen, and there’s a concealed trapdoor behind her desk that leads down to the basement. On the opposite side of the building, patrons can find a bar made of polished oak that serves coffee, alcohol, and a variety of snacks and sweets. Last but not least, there’s a small wooden stage set against the cafe's far wall. Unless she’s hired other entertainment for the night, Rebecca Sinclair will usually play a few songs on the black jazz piano perpetually occupying the stage. It’s also worth noting that the lights within the cafe’ are always dimmed, creating a strangely intimate and refined atmosphere. Heavy cloth curtains dyed a striking shade of maroon cover all the windows, and the employees of Boogie’s Beans know better than to touch the drapes without approval from their supervisors or Rebecca Sinclair herself.
@Crosswire Sounds good and danke shein for the map update. Did you want me to write up a little description for Boogie's Beans, because I'm more than happy to do something similar to what you wrote for the Goody Basket?
I'd be interested in the Illegitimate plot if you're still looking.
@Drag@Crosswire Just out of curiosity, and I know you're waiting on some sheets and whatnot, but do you guys have a guesstimate on when we might be kicking off the festivities? Also, if you guys don't have any plans for it, I'd love to claim the building directly to the left of the Homeland Apartments as Boogie's Beans. If that's possible :)
@Oddsbod Ehhhhxcellent. Thanks for the quick response :)
@Oddsbod Apparently work is where I come up with questions and ideas about this RP lol. I was wondering...how powerful is Eissen in terms of spellcasting strength? And, since she's a bit on the isolationist side, would she be concerned about potentially pissing off another magic-user? Just curious :P
@Drag And I'm assuming, unlike the mortals of this time period, Tales are more accepting of women in positions of authority, jah? From what I can recall from history class, women weren't exactly involved in many major decisions during the 80s. And they typically didn't own businesses.
@Drag Roger that. It's all good. We shall make it work...with bulky cellphones and old-fashioned computers lol.
@Drag The technology was the part I was worried about lol. I mean, PCs did exist after a fashion and so did cell phones, but they obviously weren't nearly as advanced as what we have today. Ultimately, it's not a big deal and better to find out now than after the RP starts lol.
