Daisy looked up at the three people who'd approached her and the boy, Luke. She had no idea when they had gotten there or how long they'd been standing around. "Huh?" She closed her eyes tight in hope that it would prevent her from seeing double. When she opened them again, she studied the faces of the three. Two girls, blonde. One looked to be the same age as Daisy, the other just a year or two older. Then there was the boy. He stood tall like Luke, he was handsome, and had tiny freckles over his nose. She hadn't noticed before, but Luke was speaking to them.
"I'm Luke. That's Daisy." He nodded to Daisy who was still a little out of it. He felt bad for her. He barely knew the girl and he felt terrible because she was the only one who seemed to be hurt the most. "To answer your first question, I have no clue where we are." He spoke to the nervous girl who looked to be the same age as Daisy. He watched as she began burying her toes in the sand. "And you two." Luke looked up at what he assumed to be a couple, as they stood in front of him. "I won't let her go to sleep. Promise." Luke gave them a small, barely visible smile. "Glad to see there are other survivors. I wonder if anyone else made it..." Luke began to trail off, looking out at the ocean, trying to pick out anything he could see.
"So what are your names?" Daisy finally spoke up. She had heard most of the conversation and was trying to focus on what everyone was saying. Her head hurt like something terrible, but she didn't want to feel out of the loop.
