The mission briefing didnt sound too complex but considering there were hostages and no demands august did not believe for a second that things would go smoothly and he had some worries there was more to this than at first glance but he put that to the back of his mind. If they were lucky it'd be quick and easy but then again the assembly probably wouldnt go to the trouble of getting a team like this for a quick and easy mission

It does mention in first light novel that when changing clothing as in equiping new stuff there's a couple seconds lag where your avatar is in its underwear before the new equipment appears on (if doing a full clothes change though not just adding something on) and it mentions that girls would go get changed in privacy whereas guys were fine standing in underwear for a couple seconds (go figure..)

But like i think with armour changing you do need to unequip old then equip new but its pretty much just button pressing for like equipping i think so pretty quick and simple

I havent spoken to him recently since I've been very busy at uni and i'm no longer in the same town as him haha. But i can try and get hold of him if needbe but like i have no idea what he's doing he just hasn't been around often, i know one of our mutual friends mentioned something about him joining a clan on battlefield or smth but i have no idea

August was snapped out of thought by a human women approaching him. He looked up and noticed it was the requisitions officer Akilah, his frown quickly turned into a beaming smile "Hey yeah thats me" he said offering her a handshake "Well I like to think that I'm good at what I do though I've never really thought of myself as a professional, but I guess I am these days haha. Anyway it's good to properly meet you" August and Akilah talked for a few more minutes before he excused himself so he could properly aquaint himself with the vessel

The day of the mission

August was the second of the group to arrive at the hummingbird, he was dressed same as he always was but had both his weapons on him now, he noticed Rareth J'harn had arrived at the ship as well and he waved to her smiling "Ahh Ms J'harn, you look ready for the mission" he said chirpily, Rareth was one of the crew members he hadn't had much of a chance to speak to and wasn't entirely sure what she was like but she seemed quite professional from what he observed but seemed sociable enough. "We havent spoken much have we? We'll have to rectify that sometime haha"

Gonna put august talking to req officer on my post but fairly skip throuh it as i cant do responses for her as i do not know her characters personality or quite exactly why she's speaking to me

Keisuke frowned at the child "They left. Seemed to want to return to the safety of the city as soon as they could. What on earth is someone as young as you doing here?" keisuke was very blunt in his speaking, he didn't know this girl and thus he didn't care too much about whether his words offended her or came off as aggressive. He still didn't fully know why he went to help but right now he didn't really care. He kept an ear out on the surroundings for any sounds of more monsters coming but thankfully none were currently nearby
