Aster looks in the direction Vein pointed in, then sighs a sigh of both relief and disappointment. He nods slightly then hurried over to where she was, not wanting to be near Vein or the waitress any longer than he already was. "Jeez, Rosa.." he mutters to himself, taking a seat near his sleeping sister. "Don't go disappearing like that."
Rosa lifted her head up groggily a few moments after her brother arrived. "Oh.. s-sorry, Aster.." she stammered. "I.. I got carried away again-" Her head fell down onto the table the instant she finished her sentence, followed by another of Aster's sighs.

Aster flashed a guest pass at the bouncer before walking into the bar, passing the line of people while cloaked in his flowing robes. The Black Widow's Nest would the last place he would look for Rosa, since everything about it is just so bloody loud, but she wasn't at the inn nor her usual training spot. Glancing around the place without catching too much attention, Aster found one of the mercs Rosa would sometimes speak to, being 'accompanied' by one of the waiters. He shook his head slightly, trying not to think too hard about what's to follow, and approached him. "Rosa. Where is she?" he said, almost a whisper but loud enough to be heard over the music and the talking.

Rosa tried to hide a grin when he mentioned his 'old habits'; cue several scenes of teenage girls running out of the restroom after realizing someone else was in there.
"Oh, he's fine." she said, thinking of what he was probably doing, which was reading books at home or something boring like that. "He's been trying to act cool around people recently, it's been bugging me. But his weirdness aside, he's getting better at his powers." Rosa's voice gained a hint of enthusiasm towards the end of her statement. She took another short sip, and paused for a few moments before starting up again. "I wonder if something happened while I was gone?" she thought aloud. "Well, its probably just my imagination. He's still a kid."

"Fu~ah!" Rosa uttered to herself, downing a gulp of beer and wiping her mouth with her arm, before suddenly realizing Vein was on the other side of the table. "Oh, Vein!" she exclaimed, eyes widening. She cleared her throat, regaining her composure, before turning to her fellow mercenary and responding. "Er, well.. the usual things. Training and stuff, so I can beat on people harder, I guess?" Rosa shrugged, then continued. "There hasn't been any jobs for me recently, so.. yeah. How 'bout you, then?"

As soon as Vein made eye contact with Rosa, her face began to grow red: she wasn't expecting to be so deep in thought to start staring. But when the tough looking kid began to wave, she tried to snap out of the embarrassment and returned the gesture. Rosa looked away the instant he did, taking another sip nervously. 'Awkward..'

Rosa watched as one of the more popular mercenaries entered the Black Widow's Nest, taking a brief sip from her mug and resting her chin on the palm of her hand. 'Kinda reminds me of Aster, that kid..' she thought to herself. 'Young, but experienced. I wonder who would win in a fight? It was a long day's work of training, and she needed a little relaxation for a change.
Meanwhile, Aster was wandering the streets of the City. She left him at the apartment since she knew he could handle himself, but he grew bored of sitting around and went out. There was a girl on the sidewalk talking with a guy around Rosa's age, but they weren't much of interest. The club his sister would sometimes go to for jobs was also nearby, but he didn't feel like pestering her either. Sighing to himself, he crossed his arms and, covering himself with his cloak, continued to walk past them.

Aster

Name: Aster Flore
Age: 15
Bio: Aster was raised with only his sister, with no parents to support the two of them in the streets of one of the larger villages. They did get along just fine, however, since they were given food and clothes by some of the people they met while wandering. Aster in particular grew interested in the books they gave him. However, he saw one night that Rosa was being taken away by three men.
As they harassed Aster for being just a little kid, the stormclouds above grew violent, and all three of them were incinerated by a single lightning bolt. Rosa went unscathed but fell unconscious, and the next morning she had no recollection of what happened.
Personality: Aster's unusally mature for someone his age. He tries to take everything at a purely logical standpoint, to the point where it seems at times as if he has no emotions. However, this front breaks down sometimes in private settings, whether by himself or with someone like his sister or other close friends.
Appearance:
Abilities: Aster is capable of calling down lightning from the sky in any place he desires, as well as generating electricity (though this is much weaker). The electricity is able to charge up in metallic weapons, which is most likely his weapon of choice, the polearm.

Rosa

Name: Rosa Flore
Age: 19
Bio: As with Aster, the two of them were homeless orphans wandering around a town. She slowly grew a reputation around town for being able to fend off pretty much anything with self-defense moves she learned on her own, and was noticed by a popular mercenary group. They began to train her in martial arts and other forms of hand-to-hand combat, as well as give her more supplies.
However, one day, three of them from the mercenaries decided to break off and take Rosa with them, but were murdered by Aster just before they can get away. Presently, Rosa is part of the mercenary group (and one of the youngest members at that), while Aster is training to become part of the same group.
Personality: Unlike her little brother, Rosa is more lighthearted between the two. She's most commonly seen smiling mildly and sees the bright side of pretty much everything, though she will be serious if she needs be.
Appearance:
Abilities: Rosa can summon lightning and create electricity like her brother, though she uses this mainly to incapacitate opponents than as a main weapon since its somewhat weaker. She's rather athletic, and can throw quick punches charged with electricity.

I could probably write the bios better but oh well.

Zeph's expression turned downcast almost immediately the maid mentioned that there was nothing but crackers she can fetch. "Jeez.." he said, turning away from everyone else. His stomach began to grumble, but so far, he's managing to retain his composure until the very last minute. His steps began to slow down, however, as he heard a faint spark of a conversation between the maid and the mummy. Nothing better to do, I guess.. he thought, beginning to eavesdrop. He placed his hand on his torso and began to cringe in order to lessen the suspiciousness.
