I'm fine with you starting the OOC, though you can always wait for more people to show interest in this beforehand. Shrug.
Like, it could be so that in another universe (that we'll be RPing in), the SAO we know and love doesn't exist. Kirito and the rest aren't there, except for Kayaba and his plan to start a massacre.
Well, since you're the OP, it's really up to your final decision instead of mine lols.
But if it were up to me..
1. Depends, if you want an alternate reality SAO. I don't think people would be able to go through the same thing as they did with the original SAO.
2. Magic could create more of a variation of classes, and they go well with skills. But it defeats the whole purpose of "Sword Art Online". You can change the name if you want.
3. I think levels would be a good idea in this sort of thing. They can make it easy to differentiate new players and the more experienced. It'll be easier for the ones with a good grasp on the game to level, so yeah.
It could be something out of the World Seed Kirito got.
If this turns into an actual RP, I'm definitely joining.
I'm at a lack of RPs right now ^^"

Lilin laid motionless, sprawled out over the bed inside her personal cell. With a twitch, her eyes flashed open. The pale girl jerked into sitting upright, then glared at the door's single rectangular window for a few long seconds. She allowed herself to fall back into the bed with a moan. "This suuuucks.." Lilin wailed to herself as she stared at the ceiling. She had been waiting for the time when the staff would let her wander the facility, but its been long past their usual time.
The OP hasn't been online for a few days.. But if this is starting, I'd join.

Well, she can't do much without a knife or sharp objects of sorts, and is unskilled with firearms. And, she won't be as bloodthirsty knowing that everyone in the facility (and the other mutants) can overpower her since they know she's around.

Wow, that was fast .-. I was hoping I'd be able to do some things before toning her down a little.. Maybe I can replace her with another character.
I was thinking she'd be able to be controlled by the other mutants, considering her lack of experience and physical strength.
And, I know not to kill other people's characters without their permission ^^"

Name: Lilin Crowne
Age: 14

Ability: Air Mimicry - Lilin can morph into a gaseous silhouette of herself. She is also naturally lighter and more flexible in her solid form.
Bio: Kidnapped from her original home with her uncle and aunt, the marauders realized they can use the little girl's ability to disappear to cause mass mayhem. They attempted to raise her to be the perfect thief. However, Lilin had other ideas. She found it amusing when the people she was told to rob would find themselves at the mercy of her very own hands, a little girl like her. Soon enough, Lilin found herself enjoying the fountains of blood her victims would become while the rest would shriek and tremble in desperate fear. Horrified by what the girl had become, some of the thieves managed to convince her to come, as they went to turn themselves in. Betrayed by the only family she knew, something inside of her cracked. As she stood there, frozen, one of the policemen tased her into temporary paralysis once he realized who it was. She found herself locked in an airtight facility, and was only spared because of her age.

What do you guys think of her? A bit too young? The bio too extreme?

Before I do anything stupid, are these mutations limited to the genetic level? Like, can there be stuff like geomancy or other things considered magical, or just super strength and the like?
