Where O where did our GM go? Antman's been awfully quiet these past few days
If no one else wants to join, I'm perfectly willing to add a second CS for a Protector character, so we have more than one
(Although I'd only do that with the GM's permission, of course :P)

We could also use a few NPCs to fill in empty spaces
As she followed her squad leader through the forest, Kiena couldn't help but question Commander Garskull's decision to send Arthur's group on such an important mission. For starters, they hadn't been working together for very long (or at all, really), which would make communication and tactics challenging for a while. Hell, they barely even knew each other! How could the Commander expect them to be of any use on this job? She wasn't trying to undermine Arthur's leadership skills or anything - for all she knew, he could be the most effective squad captain in the whole bloody forest - but it still didn't make much sense.

I suppose the Commander's son gets special privileges, Kiena thought, eyeing her squad leader's back as he walked in front of her.

As they moved deeper into the forest, her idle thoughts transformed into an acute focus on her surroundings. They're out there somewhere, maybe watching us already. Her sea green eyes darted at the snap of any twig or the flutter of any bird's wings, and she kept one hand poised by the hilt of her sword, ready to draw it at a moment's notice. She was so hyper-aware of everything else that she almost collided with Arthur when he stopped walking to survey the area. She watched as the squad leader identified a set of Orc tracks and asked the group if they would like to hunt them down. It was a good idea. If he was right, they outnumbered the Orcs and, as an added bonus, it would be good practice for them to start learning to work together as a team.

"Sounds like a plan," Kiena replied, smirking. "The huntee becomes the hunter. I like it."
Okay thanks. I'll add a post soon
I'm kinda surprised at how little interest this is getting so far. It's a really cool rp idea, so I was expecting more people by now o.o
Question: Are we in Arthur's squad or our own separate ones?
You guys are crazy. Strawberry banana smoothies are da bomb :U
"Yes I can see you're not looking for anyone here. But I daresay you are still looking. Perhaps you've already got someone in mind."

Nicole's eyes widened. Am I seriously that obvious?? she groaned inwardly. Even the red glow stick couldn't cover up her intentions. She made a mental note to work on that, so she could better hide her feelings before she was ready to confront them. As to the comment Lucy made about this place not being very good for improving social skills, Nicole would just take what she could get. However in some ways, talking to other awkward people might even be better, because she didn't have the added pressure of trying to converse with a popular crowd. It felt to her like she was among her own kind.

Lucy seemed to be hiding something too, but Nicole determined it would be better not to pressure her for information. She did wonder why the girl would have to spend her birthday alone if she didn't come here. Nicole reasoned that her home life must not be the greatest and felt a pang of sympathy. Her own family wasn't anything special, but she was pretty fortunate to have non-divorced parents and a mostly healthy home life. She couldn't imagine what Lucy was going through if her hunch was correct.

"Well, Happy Birthday," Nicole offered. Not sure what else to say, she just fiddled with her glow stick. At that moment, her stomach let out an embarrassingly loud rumble. She felt her face grow warm and hoped Lucy didn't notice, then she pulled out her wallet and counted the money she brought. "Er... do you know much the drinks are here?"
Ji Min watched the brunette girl out of the corner of his eye, as she crossed the room to dance with a creepily happy college boy. He was still trying to place who she was without looking like an obvious stalker. He suddenly realized he was one of the only few people not interacting with anyone. Great, I probably look like a total loner, sitting here by myself, he thought. Know what? Who cares if that girl goes to my school? I came here to meet people, not get bogged down by someone I might not actually know. He spotted a couple of good-looking girls wearing green glow sticks sitting not too far away. He estimated them to be about the same age as him. Ji Min got up from his stool, strolled confidently over to them, and greeted them with a tip of his hat. It was a cheesy gesture, but he managed to get a laugh.
Lol! That's such a perfect gif XD
Nicole stared lamely at Lucy's extended hand before taking the cue to shake it. She felt a slight inward relief that this girl seemed comfortable talking to strangers. That took some of the burden off of her to keep the conversation going, which was very helpful to the socially-awkward oddball that she was. She turned up the corners of her lips in a small smile, trying to be friendly.

“What brings you here on this fine evening? Your glow stick is red, so I can’t imagine you’re here to find a lover.”

Nicole felt her face flush, and she self-consciously shifted her weight to hide her glow stick from sight. "Um, y-yeah..." she stammered, lowering her stormy gray eyes to the floor and habitually brushing her hair behind her ear. "I'm not looking to meet anyone here." she faltered, wondering if she should explain why she really was there. When she was thinking about the reason, herself, he came to mind: his dark, tousled hair, those strikingly bright blue eyes, his lean, athletic physique... She felt her blush deepen. Come on, get a hold of yourself, she chided. Nicole lifted her gaze to meet Lucy's, deciding to only partially explain herself.

"I came here to work on my social skills," she said, attempting to brush off her nervousness with a one-shouldered shrug. "You probably already noticed I'm not really a people person, but I really want to be. I figured this was as good a place as any to practice talking to people. Plus, making a new friend or two would be nice." She blinked, realizing she hadn't even told the other girl her name.

"Oh, right! My name is Nicole Beverly, but you can call me Nikki if you want," she announced. "Anyway, I gave you my story. Now tell me, what brings you here?"
