For the next two weeks, I won't be on as much as I used to be. This may stretch far into the holidays as they come. I will still be active, just not as much as usual.

Could someone check my "Link's One Piece Folder" link to make sure it's still accessible? I just moved everything around, so I want to make sure you guys can still access it.

There should be a jumble of documents and the Characters folder. Just need to make sure you can see the folders inside the Characters folder and get into each folder fore-mentioned.

There should be the 6 characters in the Crew folder, Toridus in the Enemies folder, and nothing in the Friends folder.
Couldn't find a way to turn him into a pirate, could you? Oh well. He's still perfect for that role too.

i am going to add to that and say a crossbow would be pretty cool to.

True. Much more punch behind every shot. Also, longer reload, but shorter and less attention than a fflintlock. And much high maintenance, but nothing that isn't easy.
One more thing....

About the bow and arrow/guns issue, I have an opinion about it.

As far as guns go, Flintlock pistols do pack a punch. They are very reliable, and it's easy to maintain them. Unfortunately, they take too long and too much attention to reload in the middle of a battle, which is where you're going to be using them.
Putting some logic on this, depending on the material that the gun is made of could also make the gun either better or worse; obviously you wouldn't use a wooden pistol. It's neat, but not safe. Using a more metallic pistol (let's say it made of steel, for example) would make safer, but increase in amount of time a care you have to put into maintain it. This is just with logic, and sense when has the universe of One Piece used logic to this point?

As far as a bow goes, it's very reliable, easy to reload, and like it was said before, you can put different tips on the arrows and effectively become Hawkeye from the marvel universe. That or The Green Arrow, I guess that's your choice. On the other hand, using a bow makes you more susceptible to attacks from behind, cuts off a huge chunk of your vision, and easily becomes warped if you don't take care of it. I know that because I own one. I haven't used it in 5 years, left it sitting in my garage open to the elements, and the damn thing was more like the letter U than a bow.
Also, the arrows are easy to hold, easy to reload onto the bow, and again, can have interchangeable tips. The down side to them is that you run out of arrow very quickly if you aren't careful. They can be retrievable, but always have that chance of breaking off in the thing you shot it into. Even so, they are worth it even to just carry around without a bow just because they can very easily be fixed and replaced.

Honestly, I myself would much prefer a bow and arrows over any other weapon given to me just because I feel more comfortable with it. Guns are handy and the bow is BA. I hope this somewhat helps in deciding which to use.
Another updated post for the crew positions taken.

Crimson: Theif
Eve: Captain
Gravislayer: Swordsman
Sableyezer: Cook
Link: Shipwright
Ace: Navigator

That's what I've got so far. Everything should be up to date in the "One Piece: A Whole New Generation Characters" link in my signature.

Also, I know Hagura is apparently in as the doctor, so that's good. And if they don't feel like being the doctor, I have another character all ready. If you would like to see it, it's in Link's One Piece Folder. Orzahva B. Lauren. From that, I'm pretty sure you can see where I'm going with it, but it isn't necessary for me.
Link: Currently in Lougetown, working on a new boat for his new pirate crew of choice.
Ace: Somewhere in the South Blue (a few days away from Lougetwon most likely)
Crimson: Claw Island (Dragon Archipelago, South Blue)
Eve: Sailing in the East Blue
Gravi: Sailing with Narumi
Sableyezer: Still in the Grand Line as owner of the restaurant

This is an update to my previous post as to where everyone is. I still need to catch up, so if any of this is wrong, please let me know so that I may change it.
If you would like, I can put a link to my story for those who would like to read it, but it's in script format. i find it easier to understand that someone is talking when the format it like that. For those who care

WARNING: My story may contain spoilers to some of your favorite anime that you may not have finished. Also, the story isn't really that good in my personal opinion.
Hello people. I am sorry to break this to you, but the child you have been conversing with was my little brother. I allowed him access to my computer for a while under the pretenses that he was doing his homework, but I never realized how devious the little could be. This is the really link23454, and I hate to inform you all that this is not something that I would be interested in doing. I have no GM skills, and I would most likely ruin the entire experience for you.

Let this be a reminder to those of you with younger siblings that hold grudges over the simplest things. If you don't want them ruining your reputation, don't get on their bad side.

I really am sorry to those of you who showed interest, and also the person my brother PMed. If I ever finish the story this is actually based on, and somewhere along the way, my GM skills increase then I might bring this up again under my own pretenses. Though, most of you might not like it, as I usually require script formatting when I do GM stuff like this. Again, I am sorry to have wasted your time.

Um, well, um... the casual section expects prose and paragraph formatting. ^^; I'm still interested in this idea if you format it like that and keep it in casual.

Sorry. I'm used to that kind of format because that's the format my friends use. I can easily stick to paragraph though. no problem.

Um... I'm pretty sure script format isn't allowed in casual. ^^;

Thanks for the memo. I didn't know.

Um... I was kind of thinking of joining maybe, but, uh...... Is the post in the IC what the posts are going to be like for this? Because, um... for one thing I am not a fan of script format for actual roleplays and it doesn't give any context or information on what's happening, and... it also isn't allowed in Casual I'm pretty sure.

No, it's just how I note switching between someone talking and just story. No formatting is necessary. Just so long as it is obvious when a character is talking and when it just information.
