People are disappearing. Normally I wouldn't think that much of it, just some people wanting to go off the grid except........

This city is usually quite peaceful, quiet. I work to keep it that way....... But this, this is just bizarre. There's no pattern, no profile, just a string of random disappearances as if the victims were abducted by aliens. The crime-scenes are all spitting images of the others, door ajar, pool of the victim's blood, TV displaying static, and worst of all....... A bloody serpent manipulated to consume it's own tail, nailed to the door. What's going on? Where are the victims? Are they still alive? Is this the work of some cult? The flashing red lights of the squad cars illuminated the dark, empty front lawn around me, the sound of rain pattering against the rooftops permeated the moist air. One final thought struck me.

..............What do those high-schoolers know that I don't?

OKay, here we are the OOC! Without further ado information dump! But first some obligatory rules.....

The place this RP will take place is the city of Hirameki, which I've made up. Hirameki is a large metropolis and it's entire Eastern side is beach and pier space. Most transportation is done by train or car, walking from one side of the city to the other would take an entire day. All of the PCs will be highschool students aged 15-18 most likely, and you all attend Satoru Highschool which is one of the nicer, higher end schools in the city. Hirameki City has a few large mall complexes as well as a few prominent parks and an amusement park which is on the pier.

As for Arcana, I will allow a max of two of the same Arcana. All of them except Jester, Hunger, Judgement, World, and Universe are available to players.
You can also make original Personas so long as they are based off of a mythological figure. Also no original Skills aside from special circumstances later on (*Ahem* Social Links*Ahem*)

There will be Social Links, in a manner of speaking. You will obviously interact with each other and various NPCs throughout the RP. My plan was that as you interact with one another and with these NPCs, you will learn more about each other, grow closer, and become friends. The further along this path you tread, the more benefits will be conferred. These benefits ranging from new abilities for your Persona, maybe stronger elemental resistances, or if the growth is between two PCs, something more. These Social Links are each individual and are only limited by the amount of PCs and NPCs, meaning you can form these bonds with anyone that it makes sense to.

Shadows. In this RP your Shadow isn't what you repress per se. It's what you desire most in the whole-wide world. Think what your greatest desire is, the thing you would give anything to be or have, then subvert and pervert it to the extreme. That is what your shadow is, an extreme manifestation of your desire. Also for all Shadow stuff I would like you to PM them to me and don't post them with the rest your Character Sheet.

I think that's about everything except for the CS which is right here.

Also for those returning from the old roleplay, if your character is unchanged just go ahead and post it, there's no reason for me to reject it. And also If you guys have any questions feel free to ask.
Good to see so many are on board, and also good to see some new faces. Well I've definitely got enough to start up the OOC so I'll get to work on that, should be up hopefully by week's end. With Thanksgiving happening tomorrow things are a little busy.

Uh, I also am interested! I've been in Persona RP groups, but generally when I get someone to notice me of it, the concepts die before the fandom starts..

I'm afraid I don't quite get what you're trying to say here, well aside from the fact you're interested which is great. But, uh, yeah. Care to elaborate?

Here's the link to the old/new interest check, it's pretty much the same just a new title.

So, this is a Persona RP as the title says, meaning there will be supernatural/psychological stuff to be had. All of your characters would be high school students and of course you get to choose an Arcana and a Persona to fit your character. I will get into that stuff a bit more with the OOC if it gets there. There will also be action, friendship, deception, bonds and cool Persona powers.

There are no reserved arcana, however I would only allow PCs to pick from the first nineteen of the Major Arcana, so exclude Judgement and World. Also there would be a limit of no more then two of the same Arcana for PCs.

It is worth noting this is a reboot of an RP I've previously made that died due to disappearing players. Hopefully this won't share the same fate.

So yeah, if this garners enough interest then we'll move on to the OOC where we can start making characters, so who wants to play?
Is there a player limit you're looking for? And if so have you hit it? I am very interested but to many might get a bit hectic.
So here's what I'm thinking. By this point we can go with who we have, being you three and maybe a few others. Keep going maybe we'll pick up some people or some of the disappeared ones will come back. I mean I can keep bumping the Interest Check and maybe get some more but the age of it understandably can be a bit of a turnoff.

Or I can copy my posts and make a new Interest Check and OOC/IC, essentially a new RP. You guys are free to resubmit and use the characters you made here, or you can make new ones. The point being that we'd get some more people from the start and hope everyone sticks around. I'd certainly be looking for a higher post frequency from myself mainly. So more frequent story advancements and a higher posting rate will hopefully keep people from disappearing.

That's what I'm thinking, to me the second one seems to be the better option, but it's a big decision and I don't really want to be the only one making that decision. So what do you guys think?
Rachel was sure her face was pale as a bed sheet at the boy's offer. She hated horses, any kind feathered or not it didn't matter. And horses hated her, ever since she was a girl. Horseback riding was her bane, and just about everyone who knew her knew that. As such she never willingly rides one if she can avoid it. Still her feet were tired after all the walking, this village wasn't really the closest to the capital. And if there were bandits about, the backup and skillset this young man could provide might prove invaluable.

So with that she grit her teeth and made her decision. "Yes I would greatly appreciate a ride good sir." She drew her hood even tighter to avoid being seen and her hands were, for now stuffed into the pockets of her coat so the young Pegasus Rider wouldn't notice the trembling. Oh yes, Rachel was terrified, terrified at the very thought of it. She couldn't imagine what would happen once they got going.
Well the two tacticians are, of course, going to have to duel to in mortal combat to determine who's top dog. I mean, that's the only logical way to determine how the town's defenses are set up, there's no other way, nope.
It was a rather damp morning as it turned out, the air was heavy with mist and moisture, the grass was shining with residue from the recent rains. And Captain Rachel Gregstone of Ylisse's Dawn Knights was out wondering the fields of a village near the capital, chasing rumors of bandits in the area. She drew the hood of her tactician's coat and sighed. "I probably should have brought some backup, Lieutenant Walsh will not like me going out on my own like this." Still she had to act, Walsh would've insisted on mustering the troops which would've taken a week or more. If the rumors were true then Rachel couldn't wait that long, the village here couldn't wait that long.

So she walked, walked through the cold, damp field all alone. AS she was walking, Rachel saw a Pegasus dive from above and land softly some distance ahead of her. What would a Pegasus Knight be doing out here? She decided to quietly approach, watching the creature and it's rider a bit before approaching. When Rachel saw the rider she couldn't help but feel her jaw fall. A man, the Pegasus was being ridden by a man. Never had Rachel heard of a male Pegasus rider. Now, she didn't really know why there weren't any male riders, just that there weren't.

She overcame her surprise quickly enough, deciding to take some kind of action as the rider was just standing there. Her hand drifted to the hilt of her sword as she drew closer. When she was within earshot she called. "Hail there, friend. Do you know how much farther it is to the nearest village?
