Personality: Jon is the embodiment of a rebellious spirit: He is very hotheaded and can't seem to keep his mouth shut, unless someone is forced to do so for him. He has absolutely no respect to those who try to impose their will upon others, and tries desperately to rally the people for his causes. He is very stubborn and it's not terribly hard to get him riled and put him in a temper, hence maybe why he is so quick to be outspoken. Despite his knack for fighting the law, Jon is definitely by no means a physically strong person and can be taken down a notch easily. Despite this, he has a never-give-up attitude in the face of adversity. Jon is a very caring individual, but his headstrong and bossy attitudes can make him someone people will have a hard time warming up to. He absolutely *hates* being told he is wrong.
Criminal offense: Disturbing the peace (trying to start a rally against guards who "treated the lower-class unfairly"), resisting arrest.
History: Jon was born into a very low-class environment. The people in his sector of the commons were poorly fed - which was partially due to the guards withholding much of the rations - and were treated as the scum of the station. His father, Patrick, was arrested when Jon was 16 for stealing food from the guard's barracks. Already showing signs that he was impulsive, the guards kept a close eye on Jon as he reached adulthood. After being let off the hook once after spitting on a guard, Jon was incarcerated after staging a failed rally with his friends, who promptly fled the scene when the guards arrived.
Relationships: Not many, he either views people as too cowardly for speaking up, or his impulsive ways make it hard to maintain friendships.
Other: He thinks his mom is "hella-cool."

Char's fine. When I mean "normal," I mean not able to do flashy time-warping super powers and things of the "this character is so good he can kill an entire army" nature. If he has gold or metal blood or whatever, that's okay.
There is a great turmoil erupting in the World: From the plains to the mountains, terrible earthquakes violently rumble across the land, causing great buildings to tumble and homes to be destroyed. The fishing boats are being rocked by ferocious waves and fierce storms. The simple folk are being stricken by terrible plagues and sicknesses, and many are dying. On some occasions, there is what seems to be fire in the skies; Terrible red clouds that spit horrible fiery rocks to the earth, devastating the world further.
Some folks and soothsayers are saying that the terrible events that are transpiring are a message from the gods, a message stating the world has been corrupted by greed and selfishness, and that the only way to cleanse the earth is to destroy its denizens completely. Riots are being staged to the leaders of the land, and martial law has been placed. People are being slain in the madness left and right, adding to the devastation that is already occurring. Crime is booming. Looters and robbers are taking claim to the land that is shrouded in chaos and darkness. In this bleak time, there is almost no one with a positive outlook...
However, in this madness, there may be a way to end the wrath of the gods...
So welcome and such to Wrath of Gods: An Apocalyptic journey to end, well, the end basically. The main chunk of plot will be handed to you very early in the story, so your character's goal will be revealed soon.
Some basic groundwork to be laid out:
1.) Be...excellent to each other. In other words: behave children. I don't want any OOC fighting. We're all reasonable people here (I hope).
2.) As I stated in the interest check, this is a very seriously themed RP, and due to the extreme circumstances of the RP's world, there will be a lot of hardships and not-so-happy things going on. If you came here for a basic "Save the girl" type Role-play, prepare to be disappointed.
3.) No God-Modding, character killing (without my permission), OP characters, or extreme deus-ex-machina BS to be pulled out of your characters. Everyone's character is going to be a relatively normal person.
4.) Be sure to post in reasonable intervals. No offense, but if I see pages and pages worth of 1x1's right out of the gate, I may seriously scream be very disappointed. Be sure to give your fellow RP'ers time to post.
5.) If you have any questions, concerns, complaints or suggestions, you can drop me a PM or post it right here in the OOC anytime and I will be sure to get back to you in a very timely manner.
I'm going to post the introductory post once I have a few people accepted already. Anyway, here are the sheets:

Race: (Standard fantasy requirements, Humans, dwarfs, ect...:)
Appearance: (Preferably non-anime, but if you absolutely must, go ahead.)
Occupation: (You can range from a peasant to a soldier. In terms of jobs, you can be pretty much anything except anything high class, for story purposes. However, if you opt to be a soldier of sorts, you must be low-ranked.)
Personality: (Another given. Just please don't ham it up if you're going the "dark and brooding anti-hero" route...)
Bio: (Doesn't have to be in excruciating detail, just a little background on character.)
Equipment: (Weapons are allowed, but if you're character is someone with a non-violent background you're gonna have to sort of either improvise or come up with a good excuse. As we go along, our characters will find better stuff, so start small. No carrying "The level-8 super-powered master sword inherited from his demi-god father" or whatnot.)
Talents/Traits: (Everyone's gotta pull their weight somehow, you know. Correlates to your occupation and background.)
