Um... Directive.. what's the range of the Pherithian artillery pieces... because they are still FAR away from Rockgarde. The ones firing are super long ranged guns(like the Krupp Railway Guns).
The Ironeagle Fighter Bombers were quite tough and took a lot of punishment before pummeling down. Even then, those bombers steer towards enemy structures to deliver their last payload, exploding into a mini-nuke blast.
Being armed also with Air-to-Air weaponry, the dragons and fighters would come into stiff competition with an array of Autocannons, HMGs, Missiles and Gatling Lasers.
The Fighter Bombers started spraying Nova Sarin gas, that would burn any skin on contact onto the enemy below.
Thanks to the majority of the Volcron troops being automatrons and their little Citadelguard squads were heavily armed and had working gas masks, they were unaffected.
