Yes, that's fine.

As a side-note, do we have to start as Chunin?
<Snipped quote by LordVoldemort>

Nice.
We're expecting a couple of paragraphs, but the quantity of text doesn't really matter as much as the quality. If you, once in a while, cannot manage more than a single paragraph, that would be okay, as long as you have a satisfactory amount of detail in there. I get that it can be hard to write a whole damn wall of text as response to someone asking "How was your day" or some shit like that. We just expect that you really pour your character into your posts.

Alright. I'll try and cook up a character and see what I can do. You alright with an Uchiha, provide I give a good explanation for why they're there in the first place?
<Snipped quote by LordVoldemort>

Ah, yes. I usually have the same problem. GMs vanishing, players dropping like flies till no ones left, one player causing irreparable damage to the world.
I can't assure you that someone won't kill it somehow, but I can assure you that I'll do everything in my power to keep it alive. Even if everyone else drops and leaves just me and Halvtand playing with each other until someone else comes along, that's what I'm willing to do.

Where nothing ventures, nothing is gained. It's up to you, though.

Alright. I guess I could give it a shot. I have a question, though; how many paragraphs or so are expected from this Rp? I'm not exactly a heavy writer, but I can pull off a paragraph or two depending on what's happening ICly.
<Snipped quote by LordVoldemort>

Oh? Why's that?

I really want to join it because it's Naruto. On the other hand, Naruto Rps don't tend to stay alive long...
I am...extremely conflicted on if I want to join or not.
Gabriel Moreau - Training Grounds

Gabriel seemed to be in some kind of trance as he stood there, wondering what to say next. He just couldn't seem to handle the pressure of so many people all talking at once. It took quite a lot of effort for him to even talk to a few people, but with so many all in one area, he had completely shut down. It wasn't until a few of his friends went up to him and started trying to grab his attention that he finally snapped out of it. He blink for a few seconds, looking around at everyone else, before his gaze went down at Tanner and Reese. He smiled slightly and scratched the back of his head nervously.

"Erm....sorry...what was the last thing that I was talking about?" Gabriel was a little embarrassed about the whole ordeal and seemed to go a bit red in the face. It was a little sad how he tried to interact with the others as best he could...it almost seemed like he would never get out of it. Of course, Gabriel hated that idea. He wanted to get used to others around him. He wanted to become a leader. How could he do that though if he wasn't even able to hold a steady conversation with the others? Hell, Sano seemed to be a much better leader-figure than he was. It was quite frustrating for him, but he didn't let the thought stick.
"I-I don't need any help by the way. I'll be fine; trust me. I think I just need a little rest or something." Gabriel wasn't the best at saving face, but he tried. He didn't want others to see his weakness, because he wanted some to look up to him as a leader....someone to put their hopes into. Of course, with Sano there, it would be extremely difficult.

Gabriel stood there, waiting for a reply, when he was suddenly pushed over by Reese. He glared towards the boy and had almost said something, but he noticed just how hungry he was when he immediately ate almost a mere second after sitting down. Maybe Reese really was starving, he thought. In any case, Gabriel couldn't really think of anything else to say after that point, because soon, everyone started to converge on each other. There was a mass of chit-chat and conversation all going off at once. It almost looked like Gabriel was beginning to shut down amidst the whole ordeal and just stood there with a blank stare towards...well....nothing. He didn't even appear to really recognize what he was looking at.

The cause of this was quite unknown, but it's safe to assume that it's because of Gabriel's upbringing. After falling out with a lot of people back in Shiganshina, socializing wasn't much of an easy thing for him to do. He had improved over the course of the two year period however. So there he stood, almost mannequin-like, trying to figure out what to say next. Of course, Reese had thought it was interacting with girls that made him 'shut down', but that was only slightly true. How else would he have communicated with Olivia and even teased her if that was the whole case?

Gabriel turned to see Reese come in, before he dropped and fell against him. Gabriel stumbled back a bit from the sudden fall, but held his friend up quite easily due to his own strength and Reese's not so heavy frame. When Reese began to whine for food, he rolled his eyes, and smirked. "Keep this up and I'll eat all the food for myself. We can't have slackers here, now can we?" Olivia started to approach them and Gabriel quickly pushed Reese off him, keeping an arm wrapped around his shoulder to make sure he didn't fall. At her teasing, Gabriel gave her a bit of a scowl. As she walked off back to the other girls, he called out to her from behind. "Not all of us are so obsessed with food, Olivia!" He looked down at Reese, who was practically drooling. "Well, not most of us." He looked down at Tanner and raised a brow at him. "Girls; what can you do?" Soon after, Lauren came in and Gabriel offered her a warm smile. He remembered her quite fondly from the events at Shiganshina. He always felt grateful for her aid and had even offered to work for her as repayment. Of course, they both ended up joining the military, so it never really did matter much.

At the mention of his leg, Gabriel looked down, and nodded to her. "Yeah, it healed up nicely. I've been a lot more physical ever since, strangely enough." During those two years, he had intensified his training so that he could be as fit as a fiddle, if not more-so. In fact, it looked like he was in better shape than most of the other Cadets. It felt a bit awkward to be one of the few that was fit, but it didn't bother him too much. Besides, there was at least two others like him. After a few more seconds of chatting, he gave Lauren a nod, and let her walk off to eat. He watched Lauren leave and looked down at Reese, letting go of him, and stood him up straight. "You and Tanner get your food real quick. I want to catch up with everyone for a little bit. Feel free to come along if you like, though." He turned and walked towards the table where the girls sat, staring them all down. In a way, he felt almost like a Titan...

He offered the girls a smile and placed his hands on his waist. "Nice to meet ya'll. I'm sure some of you have already seen me before." It wasn't a very good introduction, not by a long-shot. Gabriel was actually a little nervous, but he stood his ground. Having friends during the past two years helped him a lot with being more social, but it was still a bit difficult to express himself without really trying. "My name's Gabriel Moreau." He looked down at Olivia and offered her a smile....and also a bit of a challenging glare. The bet was still on and he didn't forget it.

Gabriel nodded at the mention of a book store. Yeah, I've been around there. I picked up a few books before, mainly about fishing...but....that was really it." He smiled, rubbing the back of his neck slightly. Gabriel wasn't one to talk about hobbies and never really did tell anyone before, if that was even a hint to what kind of hobbies he liked. He always did enjoy fishing; it was a quiet and calm activity, up until the fish bit. He remembered fishing in the river at times, but ended up giving up after the area started getting more attention.

He was about to speak up once more, until Reese appeared beside him. Gabriel jumped slightly and glared down at him as he climbed up the bunk. As brave as he was, Gabriel was easily frightened when something suddenly happened without warning. He looked back down at Tanner and shook his head. "Anyways...I need to go ahead and make my way to the Mess Hall. I can't run on an empty stomach. Besides, everyone is supposed to be heading there now. Lord knows if I stay behind, someone is going to come looking for me or something." He watched Reese hop down to meet Tanner and smirked, giving him a rough slap and grip on the shoulder. "You better be there, too. I don't want to have to hear Olivia telling me to come carry you over there. You and I both know we'll hate that." He let go of Reese's shoulder and walked out.

Gabriel had his hands placed behind his head once more as he walked up to the Mess Hall. He took a deep breath and walked in, looking around at who might be there. It was so nice to hear everything so quiet as the smell of food filled his nostrils. It wasn't anything glamorous, but when did he ever eat good? He stood around, wondering where to sit. It was almost comical looking at someone his height standing around without a single clue where to go.

Gabriel had caught just a brief glimpse of the papers, but he couldn't really tell what they were or what might have been written on them. Gabriel was somewhat curious about what exactly they were, but he didn't want to push Tanner, considering this was their first meeting.
"I see...sorry, I just tend to forget faces sometimes, you know? I have a habit of making sure I've met the person before-hand before I start introducing myself, you know?" Gabriel could remember faces perfectly fine; he just hated to admit that he didn't have many friends back in the day. It was something that he would like to forget, just like the disaster at Shiganshina. He sat there awkwardly for a few seconds, tapping his knee in thought as he stared at the other boy, unsure of how to continue their conversation.

"So....are you from Shiganshina too?" Many of the other Cadets were from Shiganshina, so he just had to know for sure. Every single one had reason after that event took place, as if they were all trying to prove themselves in some way. All Gabriel wanted was to ensure his brother's safety. Strangely enough, he wasn't going to join the Garrison. In a way, his decisions were confusing to him. All he knew was that joining the Survey Corps...but why the Survey Corps if he wanted to protect Eitan? It was a confusing thought, but he shook it off. He looked back up at Tanner and offered him a smile, reaching out to him with an open hand. "I suppose I shouldn't really ask that though, huh? Either way, it's a pleasure to meet you." He waited for Tanner to shake his hand, his smile growing slightly.
