I don't know if I trust you *evil glare* Can't wait to read it :3 Luckily, I'm free for an hour and a half, so yeah~

Sounds awesome! I was only once in a superhero RP and my character had the LAMEST power EVER. Like, his power was to draw perfect circles. That was it. The end of his powers.
Indeed!

It's going to be completely opposite of everything that described their relationship up to that point. I love it already :3

Oh yeah, what was it about? I know I was in a Bleach one at the Old Guild and boy did I love it - I had a conflict with one guy there and he was one of the best rivals I ever had :P Totally sadistic - his goal was to completely destroy my character, crush his heart and soul. It was a wonderful bout. Unfortunately, we never got to finish it :/
It's like that one Greek myth where Zeus made people with two faces, four legs and arns, and two hearts - then separated them because they were too powerful. That fits our case :P

It would be funny if she had to talk like that at one point, with smileys and all. Would totally ruin the mood of the RP, but would be funny :3 oh Lily - she'll probably realise what she gave up on once she turns into a mortal human :333 when Aleks takes control. *evil laugh*

Glad to hear that - you know, this is one of the best RP's I've ever been in. Just had to put that out there ^.^
And I'm really good at fleshing ideas out. We have a thing going on here, my prettier clone~

Well, yeah, now that you mention it, him still being indebted to Lily when he was supposed to be free is a good setup for a mental decline - I like that. Although he'll probably have to pick some innocent people as targets even before Bratva is dead - which I don't will happen at all (Bratva disbanding/everyone dying). It just wouldn't be realistic (not that a kumiho roaming the streets of St. Pete is realistic :P) , it's too powerful of an organization and, after all, Aleks just wants people he is indebted to out of the way - so... like Nikolai and all closely affiliated to him.

But I sure am fine with Nikolai not being the last mission, as long as he gets a mission at all. He kinda is an important one ^.^
"Tell me," Volgin cleared his throat, downing the last drip of vodka from his glass. "Why did you call me? I mean - at first I thought it was some serious problem, but this…" he pointed towards papers that Aleks neatly sorted back into his briefcase, "is something you shouldn't have problems with."

Aleks smirked as he listened to the man's question. He was a fierce as ever, even if he was drinking more alcohol than in the past. "And you shouldn't be drinking on a duty." He fired a statement of his own as he saw Volgin signaling "one more" to the waiter. "Touché. But when you are as old as me, especially in a job such as this - you need a little remedy every now and then. To forget."

To forget - Aleks knew that all too well. He was not keen on alcohol, although he was not a stranger either. What Volgin said was true, though. Alcohol helped forget. Drugs were helpful too, it seemed. Aleks had seen it more than a few times - boys his age succumbing to the sharp needle. Wanting to fly away to a better plane. Nothing sickened him more than to see someone throw his life away without even putting up a fight. He branded those people weak.

But, Volgin… Volgin was far from weak. Or at least Aleks' past with him manipulated the opinion. The man saved his neck once, after all. He was sixteen years old, still an inexperienced kid - and he made one stupid mistake. One mistake and he was apprehended by the police, bound to get beat in order for them to get information. That's when he met Volgin, on his way to the station. Whether he was paid by his foster father to get him out of trouble or he acted on his own accord, Aleks did not know. But back then, Aleks thought he owed the man a lot, which probably shaped his opinion. In reality - he did not owe him anything.

Worst case scenario, he was working for Nikolai even back then and Aleks was even more in debt to his foster father than he realized.

"It's on me," Aleks said with a sigh, as the waiter brought the glass to the table. Contrary to his old acquaintance, he was drinking green tea and still had half-full cup in front of him. "I will tell you the truth," he finally begun, "I needed to ask you about something a tad bit more… personal."

The sentence made Volgin curious as he prompted him to go on. "I recently heard some rumors about those two grizzly murders - heartless men." As he mentioned it, Volgin's face lit up. He actually loved talking to Aleks about his cases and the fact that he seemed eager to talk about it, made Aleks wonder whether he was directly on the case. It was good to know that the possibility was there. "Yes - two men were found dead, both missing their hearts. It was not a pretty crime scene, I can tell you that. What are you interested in?"

"I'm worried," Aleks quickly replied, "about Nikolai." The sentence made Volgin burst into laughter. His deep, raspy laugh echoed through the coffee shop, before he settled down. "Somehow I don't believe you - he is not a man that others worry about," downing the glass of vodka, Volgin continued, "At least, not genuinely."

Taking a sip of his tea, Aleks continued as if he was never interrupted. "I'm worried about my debt. You know the history between the two of us. If he dies while I have such an amount of money to give him back - I would be the main suspect, even if the murder was a carbon copy of the past two. If not by police, then by Bratva." He quieted down before saying that particular name. Volgin merely nodded as Aleks explained, he had to admit the boy had a good point. "So - I heard those two men were wealthy, powerful. Not extremely, but they had some connections. Obviously, someone is targeting those who have power. Don't you think Nikolai is the perfect target?"

Volgin could not argue that, but was still slightly confused as to what Aleks was getting at. "That favor I need from you is simple…"

"I want to help with the investigation."
The only things, huh? You did more thinking that me. >.<

The first one reminds me of Death Note :P Actually, our whole RP reminds me of DN at certain points. And that is pretty neat - considering it's one of my favorite anime of all time. Maybe even THE favorite.

I like all of them - the second and the fourth are giving Aleks more time on the spotlight, which could be good, if Lilith continues being the main murderer here :3 And I'd like to see their relationship changing at one point.

I do still have an arc on my mind about a target that end up being gay, so Aleks is the one that needs to do the job. That would be so funny. Although it'd be more of a one mission, than a full arc.

It seems Alex-Volgin arc could be possible too, as it seems to be setting out that way in my next post. Would be nice to see how Aleks would take having to kill his possibly only friend (although he won't admit they are friends).

And I think that if we ever get to killing Nikolai - that will be a major arc in itself. Even potentially good enough to be their last mission or something. When all possible stuff hits the fan.

I just noticed that I wrote Alex at one point of this post - and I am too tired to fix it. One of the main characters in my book is called Alex, so I actually mix the two names when I'm tired, because he is the first thing that pops to my mind :P What I want to say is, I apologize if I ever accidentally write Alex instead of Aleks in the IC.

Onwards to the sleeps!
You don't have to worry about keeping me waiting at all, my post will be up later today. "When" depends on whether I'll go for a drink or not. And I'm planning on finishing a song today :3 at least the instrumental part. Oh zeah! Now I definitely can't wait to see that~

Yep, I had a police arc on my mind, especially since Aleks met up with one of the better investigators, so he could notice something's fishy, which could come in play later, heating things up for Lilith and Aleks. But a hunter arc could work too, I mean..., we do have to kill a LOT of people to finish the story, so there will be time for a lot of arcs.
That's such a good post! I'm so excited for the continuation~~~~ I literally had to read it a few times over how good it was :P things are starting to heat up, I like it. And you did a great job with the guys, I haven't really had someone write for the characters that I made, so this was a special treat ^.^

Now I'm almost kind of sad that Aleks actually arranged for real cocaine to be in there. It'd be much more troubling for poor Lilith if he put sugar or something :P

EDIT: Did you think about our arch-enemies in this RP? I mean, sure, we are going to have plenty of targets to kill, but we should have someone other than Nikolai posing as a direct threat at one point. Maybe police involvement at some point? Or if you had an idea of your own for that~ just something that popped into my head now.
This is going to be exciting :3 ideally, you'll be able to break it into two posts, because I have a certain line of conversation on my mind that I want Aleks and Volgin to have - something to give us more excitement in future endeavours.

But please, do take your time ^.^

I love that dress~ Lilith has a good taste for style. I'm sure Aleks will appreciate that :P and yeah, I pretty much imagined them being the same model, just of a different color :)

Good! Great~ I tried making them easy to work with, yet a little challenging. I'm pretty excited to see how Lily deals with them.

Oh, right, almost forgot to tell you~ there is nothing but cocaine in there - the right amount, good quality and all that. The only difference is that it's packed in blue bags, which is a trademark sign for Nikolai's branch of the mafia (I should think of a name for them). Now that might be a warning flag that something's fishy, because Nikolai would have no need to make such small dealings with them, but considering three out of five are junkies (and a brute boxer) - they wouldn't care much. Andrei is a whacko, so he might have his opinion on that. Only Pavel could react negatively. But that's up to you~
Aand, before I go to sleep - I made the CSs for you, because I like you~ and friends should treat friends good! Gonna go pass out now~
