Yeah, me too. The great thing about school is tons of people are forced to in the same planxe and it helps facilitate interaction. It's a bit more difficult with adults. Collage age is kind of a happy medium, though. And that's an option of course. =] Should we do college age characters?

To everybody who is interested in playing school aged characters, would you rather attend a public school or boarding school? Major differences are living at home vs living at the school, and regular clothes vs uniform. I can happily adapt my character to either option. I've been going back and forth the past few days.

Appearance: Melanie is slightly small for her species. She has typical markings and coloration, which includes black fur with white stripes. Her nose and paw pads are pink. Her head fur is grown out long, reaching past her shoulders and is usually left unstyled. Claws are kept short and unpainted. Her eyes are like black pearls.
She prefers to dress in white or pastel colors in either plain or floral patterns and has a fondness for lacy pieces and skirts and dresses. When accessorizing, she usually only has one to a few accent pieces such as a simple necklace paired with a flower hair clip. Melanie is nearsighted, so she often wears glasses.
Personality: Very quiet, serious and shy. She is studious, hardworking, and a bit of a bookworm, yet artistic and has her head in the clouds. She has trouble making friends but is kind and loyal to the few she has. Sensitive, insecure, and wears her heart on her sleeve.
History: Melanie comes from a small, mammalian town in rural New Hampshire. She has a troubled past and a broken family. Her parents divorced while she still just a kit, prompted by infidelity. For most of her young years, she and her sister were shuffled between her mother on weekdays and father on weekends. As a result, Melanie developed anxiety and trust issues.
Furthur perpetuating her anxiety is the fact that her anxiety often results in involuntary musking. She was bullied all through school for her frequent stench, which no amount of perfume or bathing could hide. Needless to say, she was glad to be done with high school and to get a fresh start at life at Eukary University.

Sometimes multiple layers of blue. She also loves to wear jangly chain necklaces and bracelets with dog tags.
Personality: Kayla is quiet, shy, and well-mannered around strangers, but when she gets to know someone and opens up, she can be very excitable, friendly, loyal, and humorous. When around friends she can be a bit of a potty-mouthed trouble-maker. She has a strong metabolism and a voracious appetite but is a picky eater.
History: Kayla lived a sheltered, strict life at home with her parents. College has given Kayla the chance to live a little, for better or worse. She has known and been friends with Melanie Pourri since High School.

At long last, the OOC is up! Sorry it took a while. Been working 12 hour days and I had to retype it... 9-9 Still a work in progress.
