@shylarah Great post! I feel for her. She's so confused and conflicted. Hopefully one day she'll get the answers she needs.

Also, just food for thought. There are a few things from Essa's story that you might want to keep in mind for Oren @CollectorOfMyst and Ziotea's discussion. Namely, the small detail that Essa included about Sydon-Mar being part of an unknown god. It's probably my fault, since I've been using god and "remnant" interchangeably, but when she said "god", she definitely didn't meant "remnant".

Other stuff to keep in mind. This land was once known as North Ura, a name neither of you has heard before. Also, and perhaps most importantly, Lanostre was not mentioned whatsoever in connection to these events.

Maybe something to ask her about when she wakes up. :p

@shylarah OH! I completely misread that post! My bad. I thought you were talking about something else entirely. Yes, Asherahn and Omestris consumed those other Remnants and they were left out of Varyan canon. As for Omestris not seeming as malicious as her brother, there's a part 2 to that story. :p

@shylarah Um, I might be forgetting something but I don't think Asherahn eating people and erasing them from time is something I've alluded to. At the moment we only know him as a Remnant who's been expunged from history, but who is still very much conscious and is actively having an affect on Omestrian inquisitors. I could be wrong here though. Maybe something I wrote accidentally gave off that impression? Let me know!

As for Omestrian eye colors, I see it a spectrum. Eye colors can range from burning amber to pale gold and everything in between. When it comes to how I've described certain Omestrians having eyes that possess a subtle "glow" to them, yes, these are people who haven't been drained of their ether.

@Draken She's dope! I love her! I think the limited-area divination ability is a really cool skill. I have some ideas about how it would actually work. Maybe it's something more, and not just an etheric magical ability. I'll be sure to let you know more when the time comes. But yeah, she's great.

I could see her being the Leviathan Warleader and being asked to take up a very important position within the force of inquisitors who remained behind in Magnagrad to help defend it.
