Current Just finished watching the Le Mans 24 Hours race. I watched 18 of the 24 hours and only slept 6 hours last night. It was shocking what happened to Toyota at the end. So happy that Porsche won...again.

Name: Zachary Harris

Gender: Male

Age: 34

Birthplace: San Diego, California

Appearance:

Personality: Zach is a tough and strong willed person that rarely lets anything get in the way of him and something he wants. He is also the kind of guy that holds grudges and never forgives someone once he did him wrong. He is highly distrustful of strangers, however he does care about family and friends and will do anything for them.

Occupation Before the Breakout: Unemployed, former strip club bouncer.

Skills: Zach is trained in kickboxing and he is also an ace when it comes to video games. He took shooting lessons so he knows how to use a gun. Also, due to the huge amount of time he spent on the streets he is very good at surviving and self preservation.

Fears/Incompetencies: Nosocomephobia(fear of hospitals), allergic to cats, he is also afraid of trusting someone and that someone to dissapoint him.

Equipment:
- Backpack with some spare clothes in it;
- A box of .308 Winchester ammunition;
- Two extra Glock 13 round .45 ACP magazines;
- Folding knife(shared with James, used for various utilitary purposes, last resort weapon);
- A 4 quart water canteen that he shares with his cousin James;
He dosen't have any food because James carries it all.

History: The son of a stripper and part-time prostitute, Zach was given up for adoption soon after his birth. Eventually he ended up in the family of Dave Harris and Maria Harris, James's uncle and aunt. Despite being a rebellious and problematic child all the way up to his adulthood, Zach still recieved much love from his parents and had a good relationship with his cousin James, despite being miles apart from each other. They became even closer after James moved to San Diego himself after his mother died. He never really had a stable job up until three years ago when he was hired as a bouncer in a strip club. Everything was going well up until two weeks ago when he discovered that his mother used to work in the same place as a stripper. Wanting to confront her about giving him up so easily, he went to the owner and had a discussion with him about it only to discover that the woman died five years ago after a drunk driver ran her over with his car. Dissapointed and upset, Zach stormed out of the strip club and never came back to that place.
<Snipped quote by LPFan>

Clara is plain out violent and Vincent is more of use you for gain than care. Besides the Irish have really short tempers. Trust me.

Well Zach dosen't take shit from anyone and dosen't hesitate to resort to violence, although he can control himself so I guess you're right. These three will definetly not get along. It's gonna make for some very interesting interactions. I guess it's gonna be up to James to be the voice of reason if things get heated up.
@LPFanClara and Vincent will sooo not get along with Zach

I'm curious, why is that?

Okay, before I make any further moves I'm going to make a CS for Zach, James's cousin, too.

James Harris

James felt like he was in a Grand Theft Auto game. He had to avoid all kinds of cars that were in his way, took shortcuts, but eventually he made his way to the neibourhood where he and his uncle, together with his cousin, Zach lived in. As he stopped the car in front of the garage, James noticed his uncle's wounded hand. "Jesus Christ uncle! What happened?" He said as he took his uncle's arm looking at the wound. "It's nothing! That maniac bit me! Stupid son of a bitch!" Cursed Dave as he let go of James's grip and got out of the car with James following him.

After the two men got in the house safe James noticed that his uncle was feeling more and more worse. "You don't look so good! Let's treat that wound first before we do anything else. I'll go get some alcohol." Said James as he locked the door and went to the bathroom as his uncle sat on an armchair. About two minutes later James came back from the bathroom only to see his uncle up on his feet again and with his back turned against him. He then turned around revealing a pale grey skin and a deathlike face. In shock James dropped the bottle with rubbing alcohol and ran upstairs as his now undead uncle followed him.

James ran into his uncle's room and went straight for the closet where his uncle kept his clothes...and his weapons. He grabbed the Mossberg shotgun that was lying on the wall just above the closet door and ran outside of the room, pointing the shotgun at his undead uncle who was in the hallway, heading towards him. "I'm sorry uncle Dave! I love you!" Said James as tears started flowing from his eyes. In the next second he fired the Mossberg, hitting his uncle in the chest, making him fall on the floor. James pumped the shotgun, releasing the empty shell and loading a new one as he slowly made steps towards his uncle to check on him. He stopped halfway through though as he whitnessed, in shock, his uncle rising up on his feet again like nothing happened.

"What the.." Said James in shock as he aimed the shotgun to his uncle's head this time and fired again. This time killing him for good. With the shotgun pointed forward James headed to his uncle's dead body and thrusted the shotgun gently against his stomach to see if he reacts in any way. After he convinced himself that his uncle is truly dead, James took one more look at his uncle's dead body, filled with buckshot wounds to the chest and head, dropped the shotgun on the floor, fell on his knees, covered his mouth with his right hand as the tears continued to flow down from his eyes to his cheeks and going down his right hand. Then all of a sudden he starts wiping the tears off, grabs his smartphone, dials a number and puts it against his ear.

"Zach? Where the hell are you? You need to get home now!" Said James with a demanding tone. "Dude what on earth is going on? The whole city is going nuts, it's like i'm in a Resident Evil game." "You need to get home now!" "Relax! I stole a motorcycle. I'll be there in a few minutes!"
God I had the craziest of weekends. First off a friend's wedding on saturday, then my aunt's birthday on sunday where we had barbeque. I was barely able to post today.

It was a normal sunny day in San Diego, California. James was at the car shop working on an old Mustang that a client brought over two days ago. The car was lifted on a platform and James was underneath, working at the undercarriage. Bella, James's 2 year old border collie girl was inside the shop too. Energetic as usual. She was basically the shop's mascot. The clients that were coming to get their cars fixed imidieatly fell in love with her mellow, humble and friendly attitude. James's uncle, Dave, returned to the shop after he was gone for about an hour. He had two beers in his hands. "Hey James, come with me!" He said entering the office as James put down the tools, pushed away the tool box and went inside the shop where he saw his uncle sitting on a chair with the beer bottles on the desk. James took a seat himself, as he looked at his uncle surprised.

"As you may or may not know, today is an important day for me. This shop, this business that I opened is officially five years old." He said as he started opening up the bottles.

"And you were an important part of it. Without you I probably would've never succeeded. Or maybe I would have but it would have been much harder. But your dedication to this trade of working with cars and the respect you've showed to the clients that came here made everything so much easy." He said as he grabbed the opened beer bottles and gave James one of them.

Then James and his uncle both shouted to each others "Cheers!" and tapped the bottles together as they started drinking from them. "You know uncle you're a life saver you know that? Coming here was the best decision I could have made. God knows how I could have ended up if you haven't gave me that call and made me that offer." Said James after he let down the bottle from his mouth.

"I guess we both saved each other's lives because I wasn't doing very well in that period either, after my wife, your aunt, died. But that's it, no more sadness this is a happy day come on." Said Dave as both he and James continued drinking from their beers again. "I got some stuff to finish down town." Said Dave drinking the rest of his beer and putting the empty bottle on the desk. "You stay here and keep working. This shouldn't take long. And remember today is Friday. That means were having our weekly movie night and it's my turn to choose the movie and buy the pizza." Said Dave rising up from his chair, getting out of the office and then out of the shop too.

As James got back underneath the Mustang he took a tool and started working but it didn't take long for him to hear all kinds of comotion coming from outside. Screams, car horns ringing and sounds of struggle. "What the hell?" Said James as he got out from underneath the car and went outside only to see his uncle a few feet away, beating to death a man and crushing his head with his foot. "Uncle? Uncle what the hell is going on?" Asked James concerned, as he dropped the tool he had in his hand and ran to his uncle. "This retard tried to turn me into his dinner. But I showed him not to mess with a marine, even an old and retired one." Said Dave quite proud of himself.

Both men looked around them with shock. The world started to fall apart all of a sudden. People eating each other, sudden car crashes. Everything looked like the set of a zombie apocalipse movie. Only this time it was no movie. "You know what kid? I think we should get home while were still in one piece." Said Dave looking at James's Chevelle and running to it. "Hey wait up!" Said James running to his car himself and getting inside, with Bella following them in as she squeezed her way into the back seat barking. James proceeded to start the car and started heading home.
Name: James Harris

Gender: Male

Age: 31

Birthplace: Detroit, Michigan

Appearance:

Personality: James is the kind of guy that puts a lot of passion and dedication in whatever he does regardless of how big, small or meaningless it might be. He is a loyal and protective individual that would do anything for the people he loves. He usually keeps to himself and is not very good at socializing although he likes to hang out with the few friends he has. He also likes to say exactly what he feels and/or believes and never hides behind lies or false masks. James has proven to be quite adaptable and a fast learner.

Occupation: Car mechanic at his uncle's car shop.

Skills:
- A very talented car mechanic. Not exactly the best around but he can fix pretty much anything that has four wheels and an engine.
- Good hunter. Before being imprisoned, James used to go hunting with his grandfather quite a lot. After jail, he continued to go hunting, sometimes by himself, sometimes with friends, since his uncle wasn't exactly the hunter type, but was forced to use bows and crossbows because the law didn't allow him to carry firearms anymore.
- Marksmanship. All these years of hunting with either firearms or bows made James quite a good marksman and he rarely misses his target.

Fears/Incompetencies: James is afraid of heights and he is sometimes too overconfident in himself and his skills.

Equipment: An OD green backpack with a couple of spare clothes, 3 Snickers bars, a pack of toast, 2 cans of sardines, 2 cans of baked beans, a can opener, a spoon and a fork, a flashlight with 6 spare batteries and a blank notebook with 2 pens.

Group: Alone for the moment

Background: James is a former convict. At the age of 24 he was arrested and convicted for assault and battery after he attacked his mother's former husband, who kept stalking her even after the divorce. After he found out, James went to him, threatened him to leave her alone and after he refused James proceeded to beating him up real good both with his bare hands and with an aluminum baseball bat. He spent 2 years in prison for this. After his release James's life became full of hardship. Because of his status as an ex-convict, nobody really trusted him anymore and he had an almost impossible time finding a job. And to top it all off his mother died of bone cancer some time after his release. Eventually his uncle saved him and proposed him to come to San Diego, and work with him there at his newly opened car shop. James decided that he needs a change of space and a fresh start in a place where nobody knew him or his past so he accepted his uncle's offer. It's not like he had any other choice anyway. It was a small business, just him and his uncle, but it helped him get back on track and try to live a relatively normal life.

Other:
- James has a 2 year old border collie female which he named Bella;

- Owns and drives a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454.
Changed my character's home. He is now in San Diego and I added two new California OK firearms. I just kept the kukri. Also gave James quite a big loadout of ammunition for both of them to make sure he won't have to worry about ammo scavenging for quite some time into the outbreak.

Also changed the appearance pic. Well it's the same face claim but a different picture, a better one I think.

Now it's time to move him into the appropriate section.
I've been tempted to play a vampire for some time now. Probably a hunter that is a vampire himself. Exiled from one of the families because of his bitter and resentful attitude towards the vampire kind. That would be interesting. Interested.
