Current Hey, I hate to say this, but I am probably leaving this place for the forseeable future. Those who are waiting for me on RPs can just... stop waiting, I guess. Sorry, all.

Well, @Truant, I believe what's wrong with you is in the name... your ability is Truant, you only get to act every other turn.

@Ampharos Boy, I guess that means you're going to get cave adaptation by the time this whole thing is done, and you'll vomit as soon as you leave your house, lol.

You ever read one of your RPs from years ago and just laugh at how bad it is?

Dragons vs unicorns, huh? I'm horribly biased in this case 'cause I HATE horses, so... dragons.

I tried to come up with some sort of argument against Trey, and, while he was outnumbered... he was also right. There was no real good that could come of us needlessly putting ourselves in danger. "Alright, Trey's right, we should just head back to the dragon stronghold while we have the chance," I knew that Dorisma, at least, wanted to fight, and it looked as if Deravan and even Miles were preparing to fight, as well. Why did I want to fight them, anyways? Was it just because I could? No... that... that doesn't sound like me. I'm glad Trey snapped me back into reality. I thought as I headed back towards the stronghold, with the zombies still being confused, and blinded thanks to my stunt, earlier. Once the group started moving, again, the smell of decay and rot finally left, being replaced by the scent of pine trees... a familiar scent to me, as most of my hometowns were in forested areas, despite me having been hatched near an ocean. The princess started shouting nonsense at the group, again, as if she was just trying to find reasons to complain, or just trying to find faults... for some reason, she was particularly miffed that we left the zombies alone when we could have had a 'perfectly good fight', instead. Why did she want us to fight, anyways? Was it just because she was bored? Do humans regularly fight things because they're bored? I thought as she continued berating us for not fighting those zombies. Her complaints actually made me feel even MORE like I made the right choice, given that pretty much nobody on the team liked her.
I mean... I wouldn't mind continuing, so long as we CAN continue.

With only a bit of convincing from the nidoran, it seems like the other team was more than ready to let us join them for this mission... whatever the mission was. Of course, the growlithe on their team seemed to be less than happy about this, and he tried to storm off to the cafe, complaining about them recruiting complete strangers... of course, I knew that I wasn't going to do anything to them, that is, unless this whole thing DID somehow turn out to be illegal, which I doubted it would, of course, even then, the plan wouldn't be to turn to the opposite side, I would simply leave the area with my badge, and refuse to fight if I learned that this mission wasn't legal. While Celes probably thought she was prying, it was true, we did kinda need to know a little bit about this mission, so, I simply asked "Where, exactly, is this mission, anyways?" to which, the nidoran answered "Oh, it's in Crystal Chasm," Crystal Chasm? Isn't that place easy to go through, even for beginners? I thought as I noticed a strange map with a button on it in the ralts' hands, and I asked "Why does that map have a button on it?" The nidoran didn't seem to want to answer, and I doubted I would get an answer out of the growlithe, who was still heading to the cafe before the nidoran said "Our mission's not in the cafe. Let's just head to Crystal Chasm, alright?" I then started heading there, myself, hopefully, with at least someone else following me, else it would look like I just abandoned everyone.

As Josh used his poison to help Reshiram get out of that tight opening, and told Kamina to push the legendary through, I looked at the others... more specifically, I looked at M, and I remembered him using lightning, which... I dunno, the mirrors might reflect, so, after some thought, and the rest of the team continuing to help Reshiram, I asked "So, M, do you think you could reflect a lightning attack so it'll hit as much of the maze as possible, except where we are, now?" I knew it wouldn't do much, but it would still soften up the enemies, with them having already taken at least one attack, or, at least, the ones that weren't ground types. Either way, if it was possible for him to do that, then all the better to weak our enemies, right? I continued waiting as the team continued helping Reshiram, and once he was out, he coughed a few times, implying that he either got dust in his mouth, or that he ended up poisoned from our strategy, and he said "Thank you all... I'm not sure if I would have been able to make it through there without angering my brother... shame about the poison, though..." he then lumbered over to M, as if he was curious about what he was trying to do, after that. Why is Reshiram so interested in M? I asked myself as I started heading through the maze, again, my slime leaving a trail behind me.

The snivy finally decided to ask me where this mission was taking place, and I answered with a simple "Oh, it's in Crystal Chasm," which probably got him thinking that we weren't very good at our job, given that Crystal Chasm is usually meant for beginners, and he eventually found the map that Rebecca was holding, causing him to ask why it has a button on it. Instead of answering that, I turned my attention towards Dexter, who was heading into the cafe, and instead of yelling at him, like I thought I should, I said, in an oddly calm voice "Our mission's not in the cafe. Let's just head to Crystal Chasm, alright?" I then waited for Rebecca to start moving, something that the snivy didn't do, as he just walked off on his own, either bored of us, or tired of waiting. Before the sylveon had a chance to leave, I asked "Wait, what's your name? If you're going to help us on this, we might as well learn your names, right?" to which, I told her my name with a simple "I'm Nina," I then heard some rustling in some nearby bushes, and some muttering about 'quick seeds', but whoever they were, they ran off before I could scold them... they were probably that same group that stole our last mission, too. I then headed over to Dexter, and whispered "Keep a nose out, I just heard the thugs in those bushes..." after that, I told Rebecca to "Watch out, we got thieves running around," she probably knew what I meant, at least, I hoped so, but if she asks, I'll just tell her what I meant, plain and simple.

The room lit up the moment Tini used Fairy Wind for some... unexplained reason, and that 'huge' pokemon... was just a bunch of baby pokemon, and an onix, none of whom were really that tough, and most of whom just ran away at the sight of Eralion. "Whew... that was less dangerous than I thought it would be," I admitted to everyone else as I continued down a hallway that led in a vaguely eastwards direction, as well as upwards, being a ramp. Before we could get to the next puzzle of this place, we encountered a hawlucha, as well as a medicham behind him. I couldn't see anything behind the medicham, but I figured that either Eralion or Tini would be better for facing off against the fighting bird, so I tried to swap places with whomever was directly behind me, hoping that it was Tini. Whomever it was, I gave them a simple pat on the back, and whispered "Good luck," to them, knowing that I won't be much more help in a narrow hallway like this. After that was done, I waited, and tried to pay attention to any odd noises, or smells, though, I couldn't really hear much other than the battle... maybe we still had a long ways to go, as unfortunate as that was.
So, how's that post coming along, @Ridlins?
So... how's that post coming along?
Just to let people know, Kabling wanted to be skipped this round, so that leaves @Ridlins, and @Lavulman to post.

I like that idea. Dexter might not be a huge fan of it, though.

Then I guess I'll have to have Nina convince him, huh?
@Card Captor, in case you want to add more to your 'Tini' post, the entire room should light up with your use of Fairy Wind, and it would reveal a bunch of small pokemon, and an Onix as the things that were heading towards us.

It seems like Celes stepped on a few toes when she implied that the young explorers could be up to no good, and I tried to calm them down with "Celes, uh... ralts girl, please, calm down, and maybe we could help you guys with whatever your mission is," that... didn't seem to sit too well with the nidoran, who ended up saying "NO! You can't! It's super-secret, and the mission was given to us by that secret exploration society!" they... really didn't look high-ranking enough to get missions like that, but I didn't really want a fight to start in the middle of town, so I just nodded as if I believed them, which seemed to calm down the nidoran, somewhat. "Well, if that's the case, I guess we should just go to the cafe, right, Celes?" I asked my teammate, just to try to distract her from her fight with that ralts, and I started walking away from the crossroads, where everyone else was, but before I could get to the cafe, the nidoran approached me, and muttered "Um..." really quietly. I turned around, and asked "Yes?" to which she responded with "There are... lots of enemies..." I suppose she meant to imply that they might actually NEED our help with this, or at the very least, WANT it... but something told me that the growlithe and or the ralts on their team wouldn't be too happy with that. "Maybe you should tell that to the rest of your team, alright? Celes and I will be right here, in this cafe, waiting," I said to her. She nodded, and headed back to her team. After that, I finally took my seat, and waited for Celes to take hers.

"Right... I suppose we should at least TRY to get him free... I'd use my slime, but it seems to freeze in here pretty quickly. Josh, just a question, is the poison from your sludge bomb attack slippery enough to MAYBE help Reshiram get through?" immediately after that question, I searched my bag for any pecha berries, only to find it completely empty. "...oh... uh, Josh? Be careful with that move... I don't want to poison the legendary that's helping us if we can't cure that poison," I reported to the team as I slid my way back to Reshiram, who was still at the entrance, struggling to get through. "You came back? Why?" he asked, as if he expected us to just ditch him there. I responded with "Well, we couldn't just leave you there, could we? I mean, it's not going to be easy to beat him with you here, let alone withOUT you," Reshiram seemed to smile at that, of course, it wasn't easy to tell. Josh's poison didn't seem to freeze to the floor like my slime did... so... if it's slippery enough, it SHOULD be useful, here, but... I really don't want to deal with a poisoned legendary. I thought as I waited for my team to come back. I ended up looking at the mirrored walls, again, and I noticed that one of them seemed a little... off, somehow. I didn't want to say anything yet, but the next time we head through here, perhaps we could do something with that odd mirror.

The snivy seemed to want to calm everyone down, and then he decided to try to offer to join us on this mission. Since it was top secret, I figured it might not be in our best interest to have anyone and everyone join, so I shouted out "NO! You can't! It's super-secret, and the mission was given to us by that secret exploration society!" somehow, that seemed to convince the snivy, despite the fact that I couldn't remember what that secret society's name was, or even if it was an exploration society, or a rescue society. After he started to leave, I remembered something about there being 'more than 300 pokemon' in the organization we'll be fighting, and the snivy's rank popped up in my head, again. Someone like him HAS to have fought countless wild pokemon by now... right? I thought as I walked over to the snivy, who seemed to be heading into the cafe. Oddly enough, all I could mutter was a quiet "Um..." but, as quiet as it was, it seemed to catch his attention, and he asked "Yes?" to which I responded with "There are... lots of enemies..." of course, I didn't say everything, just that we might be fighting a lot of things, and he simply told me that he'd be waiting in the cafe for a decision. I walked back to my team, and I bluntly asked the ralts "Do you think we're in over our heads with this mission?" of course, her answer would probably be 'yes', which would have me ask 'Do you think those two would be helpful to have along?'... but she wasn't the hard one to convince, Dexter was. He didn't even want the bronzor on the team, how would he respond to another team trying to muscle in on this mission?

Eralion seemed particularly angry at that riolu, but Tini didn't seem to mind being in a dark, creepy cave with almost no lights. Eralion asked me to tell him where to go, but I couldn't see very well, so I said "The power of mint will light the way... whatever that's supposed to mean. Do we have any mint-type moves? I mean, Tini sorta smells like mint, but..." I trailed off as the sound of those thunderous steps grew closer, and I shouted "Tini! Uh... fairy wind!" of course, whether or not he actually did anything remains to be seen... what was I doing, giving orders like I was his father, or something. I shouldn't have shouted that, and why DID I shout that? What would fairy wind even do in this situation? It couldn't light torches, that much was for sure, and it probably wouldn't do anything about the water dripping from the ceiling, either, or the general moldy smell of the place. Whatever it was that was coming, it sounded powerful... and huge.
Just real quick... @Lavulman, @Ridlins, would you actually be opposed to a temporary team up between half of The Odd Ones Out and Team Crescendo for this mission?
