Well, @Truant, I believe what's wrong with you is in the name... your ability is Truant, you only get to act every other turn.

@Ampharos Boy, I guess that means you're going to get cave adaptation by the time this whole thing is done, and you'll vomit as soon as you leave your house, lol.

Dragons vs unicorns, huh? I'm horribly biased in this case 'cause I HATE horses, so... dragons.
Name: Blaze (refers to herself as 'Magma') Species: Salandit Gender: Female (will tell others that she's male) Moves: - Scratch - Poison Gas - Ember - Confusion
Bio: Blaze was one of the few female salandit in her group, and, due to the soot and ash of her homeland, for the longest time, her mother thought she was, and treated her as if she was 'just another male', this, of course, meant that in return for her mother's protection, she had to constantly scour the dried, charred land for whatever scraps of food could be found, and give her meager findings directly to her mom. Honestly, this was the easiest part of Blaze's life. It was simple, and she always had friends, and helping hands. It lasted for a few years, until one day, one of her mother's group decided to use attract... and Blaze was right there, near him when he did that. Once her mother noticed that Blaze was ALSO attracted, she kicked Blaze out of her group, and knocked out the innocent salandit who 'dared' to use attract on someone other than the group's queen.
After that, she went from group to group, coming up with a false identity in the 'Magma' name, pretending to be male until her cover was inevitably blown time and time again. She still managed to stay at the Ashen Volcano, her home, for some time afterwards, working as a lone member of her own group, however, food was already scarce in the dungeon, and the others had tens of salandit looking, while she only had herself... it was extremely thin pickings for her, and the few things she did find were either rotten, dried, or stale. Thankfully, she never got sick from that stuff, just due to her own poison typing, but even then, it didn't exactly taste good, or even provide as much nutrients as normal food. Eventually, the volcano was beset by what she was taught were 'evil intruders', but, when she followed them, she noticed that they were on some sort of mission. Intrigued by that thought, she followed as the exploration team rescued a dratini from the clutches of her mother... and, once they saved that dratini, she learned that her mother had captured that pokemon using her pheromones, and forced him to starve himself for her... not to mention the supposed fact that her mother worked the poor, innocent snake to exhaustion, as well.
It was then that her new mission became clear. She wouldn't end up like her mother, some random maven of a group of salandit, no, she was going to run away from this place, find the city that they all teleported to, and she would join that exploration guild! Nothing was going to stop her as she ran as fast as her tiny legs could carry her away from her former home, away from the protection of her mother, and other salandit, and towards a hopefully better life... one where she wouldn't use other pokemon until they died out, but one where she would help others in danger, one where she would EARN the respect of someone by being kind, and by being strong, rather than just manipulate them with her pheromones. She kept running until she found herself in a forest, where a wurmple seemed to be leading around a gible, however, she saw the thing poison his apple... though, she tried to yell 'NO! Don't!' her voice seemed to get caught in her throat... and she was too far away to do anything as the thing robbed the gible of the last of his possessions. The gible started running back towards the river, and the wurmple was right there with him, for some reason, trading something of his for something else, but... from what she could hear, he even managed to rip him off on that account. NOW was her chance! She was going to come to the rescue, and burn the evil bug to help out the poor dragon, all she had to do was run a little bit further, and maybe try to say something cool.
Appearance: Her head is a somewhat pinkish color instead of the ashen black color it usually is, and her body is a sort of lavender color. This, of course, makes it harder for others to believe that she's 'just one of the boys'.
Differences: In addition to being a poison and fire type, Blaze is also a psychic type, and can learn some psychic type moves via level up. She can also, on random occasions, look into the future of one pokemon, if she's touching them with her hands.
And I'm done with my newest app... what does everyone think of it?
Hey, @Gavin, I'm not sure if I should, but I COULD make another character to help yours. We could even have them start a new team with... er, one of the other players making another character as well, if you want.
Upon attempting to slice apart the creature, Trevor was thrown into what seemed to be another world. Horses, as far as the eye could see... welp, looked like he wasn't getting out of his rage anytime soon, right? Trevor started slashing at them, breathing fire on them, using his flame drill attack, using his electricity, but nothing seemed to work against these things... not that they seemed to care, or even want to attack him. GAH, there's gotta be SOME way to kill these things! Trevor thought as they continued to just... surround him, and attempt to talk to him in a language he didn't know. He just kept attacking them with everything he had in his skillset, and they just took it like champs, somehow. The rage continued until he finally wore himself out by using all of his magic against these things, and... then he just sort of waited, bored. He took a seat wherever he could, and just rested to try to regain some of his lost magic, and those things were still annoying him, even if he couldn't tell what they were saying.
After a moment of relaxation, and realization, he figured something out... these things would make the PERFECT training dummies! Trevor then smiled as he threw the things around, and practiced the attacks he doesn't use as often, occasionally resting to get his magic back when he needed to, and, of course, they never attacked... and then he started getting dumb and creative, with him setting a bunch of them up like bowling pins and throwing another at them to try to knock as many down as he can in one instance, and then lifting one up into the air, covering it in a shield of fire... only to smash it into the ground, causing the shield to explode, sending others upward, but, as previously established, still doing nothing to them, at least, he assumed, at this point. Once he got bored of the possible new attack, he started just picking one up, swinging it around him like a shot put ball, and then throwing it as far as he can, using the knocked down part of the crowd in the distance as his way of measuring how far he managed to throw his victim.
Trevor stands at 5' 7", and he has a rather slim frame (due to being able to fly), weighing in at only 150lbs. He has dark blue scales covering most of his body, and a lightning bolt-shaped pattern of white scales running down to the left and to the right of the tougher, light blue, plate-like scales that cover the front of his neck, his chest, his stomach, and the bottom of his tail. He has a wingspan of 11', and said wings, as well as his shoulders, and his back near his shoulders are covered in white feathers... he also has feathers going down the middle of his back, all the way to the tip of his tail, ending in two somewhat long feathers at the very tip of his tail. His eyes are a contrasting, somewhat bright orange color, save for his slit-shaped pupils, which are, of course, black. His claws are a somewhat short 3", and he stands on two legs, with his feet, for some reason, being digitigrade. He typically wears blue jeans, and a plain, solid-colored T-shirt, and he stopped wearing shoes ever since he became a dragon.
Trevor is now a 3' 3" tall pink-furred, purple-maned horse. He is now quadrupedal, and walks on hooves whose color seems to blend in with his fur color. His unusually large eyes are blue, now, and his mane, for some reason, has light blue streaks in it. His rear end lacks a symbol of any kind, probably just referencing the fact that he spent most of his life as NOT a horse.
Personality: He's usually a happy go lucky guy, quick to laugh, slow to anger, honest, typically gets along with most people just fine, and he doesn't even take insults personally, however, there's just one thing he can't stand... horses. He hates anything horse-shaped, not to mention any horses from a specific show that will not be named here... for some reason, horses just induce rage in the guy, and thus far, they're the only things that have ever successfully done so.
Backstory: Before the people in his chunk changed, Trevor lived a mostly uneventful, boring life, though, funnily enough, he had anger control problems as a kid, and the bullies in his early schools knew it. Usually, they'd pick on him for a bit, get him to attack them, and then get Trevor in serious trouble because he was also bad at explaining things, and the teachers used to think he was a liar, even if that wasn't the case. Despite this, he still got good, or even great grades in school, and went on to finish college... yup, everything seemed to be looking up for him. It was as if nothing could go wrong, or even make the job he was studying for just go away.
Of course, things never last, and so, on July 3rd 2017, the chunk that his town was on discovered a strange artifact, and there was a meteor heading right for the town... with the town running out of options, they tried to launch the artifact at the meteor, and it seemed to actually work, breaking artifact, but also the meteor... that was ALSO when all the people of his chunk started changing into random, mythical creatures of varying kinds (though, notably, there were no unicorns)... this also seemed to disable guns, and most 'modern' technology, unfortunately for Trevor, that included computers, too.
His first day as a dragon seemed like a haze to Trevor, the most he could recall was meeting up with his friend, fighting some random creatures over a piece of the artifact, and then teleporting to some sort of mines, which, at first, he assumed was just one of the mines around town. Of course, it wasn't, these mines were filled with three-foot-tall venomous spiders, living piles of rocks, and the friendly, if awkward, mole people. After talking to a few of them, and learning a skill that ended up helping him get to a portal to take him home, he headed there, fighting a giant ghost dragon over that SAME piece of the artifact, which, as it turns out, also teleports itself when someone tries to take it. It wasn't an easy fight, with the ghost also having possessed his friend for a while to fight him, but he came out victorious in the end, and he went back home... only to find some weird darkness gathering in the skies above.
A weird light from the artifact piece suggested that IT could help, somehow, so the two friends decided to head off to complete the thing, once more. In their travels, they went through deserts, ocean planets, worlds made entirely of metal, an endless jungle, literal purgatory, and a planet covered with volcanoes and magma, also having to fend off against insane cults, intelligent, big, yet still venomous snakes, a champion from a gladiatorial arena, too many identical-looking robots, a stick figure who could draw anything into existence... they also found a couple of others to join them on their journey, Miles, a fast, sharp-clawed snake creature, and Monica, an icy phoenix, and the team's healer. Eventually, they had to face off against the the evil being that was trying to destroy the planet, unaware that it was just a chunk, but hey, everyone was, at the time, and it also sought to destroy the artifact that the party just finished piecing together, but, eventually, it was beaten down, not only by the four that have gathered, but also by Trevor's younger brother, who had, up until this point, been duped into collecting orbs that the evil creature needed to regain his full power.
They had just finished defeating the thing a few days ago, and it was finally time for a break. The town had been mostly rebuilt from the anarchy that destroyed it when everyone changed, and there were now portals to a bunch of different worlds in the town thanks to Trevor's travels, which led to a bunch of weird aliens visiting the town from time to time, but he didn't want to deal with any of that, he just wanted to stay home, and rest... of course, this rest wasn't going to last, as one night, Trevor was on the roof of his house, looking at the night sky, only to see several presumably alien ships land somewhere oddly close to Lucky City, and, as the city's dedicated hero, he had to make sure they were taken care of, one way or another. Trevor took his backpack of holding, and left to the east, not that he actually knew how to tell directions, at all. Soon enough, he came across the mountains on that side of the town, and once he made it to the top of one of them, he looked out, only to see space... and a floating chunk of ground a somewhat long distance away. He had no idea if he could survive, but he had to, so, he took the artifact out of his backpack, and used its power to teleport him to somewhere in the middle of that chunk... however, for some reason, that teleportation left the artifact behind.
He has since been cursed by a particularly powerful horse to become the very thing he despises. Only time can tell how he'll take this fact, as well as whether he'll fall to rage, or depression.
power section- Trevor has good control over his lightning magic, and... er... okay control over his fire magic.
In that chunk, magic comes in twelve different elements, and each mythical creature on that chunk can use either one or two, no more, and no fewer. The elements are as follows...
??? is one that I honestly can't find a name for. It involves the creation of creatures or objects via some type of art tool IE: someone who uses a pencil to create a rocket that they then shoot at their enemies.
Skills: Trevor knows how to cook some basic things, as well as how to make a couple different orbs of magic, those being fire and lightning, which explode into their respective element once they break. He used to be pretty good at hand-to-hand combat, and, due to his control over electricity, as well as his computer skills, he can pretty much do anything he wants with anything even remotely computer-related... as in, say, an electronic lock on a door, or a hostile robot.
Traits: Trevor was an excellent flier. Trevor is also highly fire resistant, and completely immune to electrical attacks or shocks... he is, however, extremely weak to icy skills and spells. While he is weak to sleep-CAUSING spells, he's also a lucid dreamer, capable of controlling his dreams on a mere whim in most scenarios this, of course, has the negative effect of making him a VERY heavy sleeper, unfortunately for him. Trevor's new body seems to have some sort of magical buildup, as if he's gaining magic faster than he can use it... Trevor can try to use ALL of it to mitigate the buildup, but that will also cause an explosion, and leave him drained.
Powers: Trevor's power set is sort of all over the place, with several physical attacks, several magical attacks, some that mix them together, and even a healing spell, of all things. Maybe Trevor just needs to learn to focus on a few skills rather than invent a bunch of them.
Notes: He also has limited magic, or MP if you've ever played an RPG, before. This color indicates a skill that costs NO magic. This color indicates a skill that costs A LITTLE magic. This color indicates a skill that costs SOME magic. This color indicates a skill that costs A LOT of magic.
One-Two punch: A basic couple of jabs with nothing too special about them. They're the main attack that he'll use when he's out of magic.
Right Hook: This attack has Trevor attempt to bash his enemy's skull with a powerful haymaker. He even speeds up this attack with his lightning magic when he uses it.
Sky Slam: This attack has Trevor attempt to grab his enemy, and then fly up as high as he can, sending them downwards as he swoops down and kicks them... he uses his fire magic during this attack to make it almost seem like his opponent is re-entering the atmosphere.
Shocking Grasp: Much like the spell in a certain pen and paper RPG, Trevor creates a bunch of sparks around his claws... unlike the spell, however, he then proceeds to either grab onto his opponent with said electric claws, or slash at them.
Slice and Dice: Trevor... borrowed... this attack from one of his friends, Miles. Basically, it has him entering an enraged state, and just slashing at his opponent with his claws pretty much non-stop. This skill can only be used on one opponent at a time, and if Trevor knocks out his opponent during this attack, he snaps out of the enraged state, and ends that attack.
Dash Slash: Another move that wasn't originally Trevor's... this one has him use his lightning magic to speed by, and slice as many opponents as he possibly can with the short burst of speed his magic allows for.
Zap Gun: A basic magical attack where Trevor focuses his electricity into his right index claw, and then shoots that electricity at the opponent. He'd look like a child playing a game if the lightning didn't shoot out.
Thunderstorm: This spell has Trevor create lightning in random spots near his enemies... he tends to end up creating about ten lightning bolts before calling the attack off. Notably, he doesn't need to be under any clouds for this spell to work, and can even perform it in a cave, or a building.
Persistent Bolt: This spell has Trevor creating a HUGE lightning bolt... and using extra magic to make sure that it stays where he created it for at least a second, most likely dealing massive damage to whomever or whatever he hits with it.
Chain Lightning: This spell, just like a spell from, er, elsewhere, this spell has Trevor send a lightning bolt at one of his enemies... only to have it bounce off of said enemy and into another one, again and again until someone can get rid of it, somehow.
Energize: This spell has Trevor heal himself, and all allies using his lightning magic... yes, it even heals purely physical wounds, somehow. It also cures any non-permanent paralysis, and wakes up any sleeping allies.
Fire Breath: A basic skill in which Trevor breathes fire on his enemy... not much more to add, really.
Flame Drill: A skill that has Trevor fly at something, while spinning with his claws in front of him, and while breathing fire to super-heat said claws... this skill can punch through solid steel, however, it also leaves him dizzy, and liable to miss often after its use.
Sticky Bomb: A spell that has Trevor creating a bomb by somehow condensing his fire breath into the palm of his hand... he then tosses the bomb at someone, after which, it explodes on them, and anyone else who happened to be nearby. This spell leaves Trevor exhausted after its use, and basically unable to fight.
Meteor Swarm: A spell that has Trevor create fireballs above random locations said locations could be above enemies... or allies... really, anyone. This spell is powerful, but liable to hit allies as WELL as enemies, unfortunately.
Plasma Uppercut: Trevor creates hot, green plasma by combining his lightning magic, and his fire magic... he then promptly puts his fist in the resulting plasma... just to give a SERIOUSLY powerful uppercut to one enemy. It's hot enough to melt flesh, and... is only ever usable as a last-ditch move. Said move also completely knocks out Trevor, and leaves some serious burns on his own hand, afterwards. Of course, in his words, the move is still "completely worth it".
Blitz Tackle: A simple attack where Trevor runs as fast as he can, and gives his best impression of a shoulder tackle to the opponent. He tries to hit them with his horn, as well, for extra damage.
Horn Jab: A basic attack where Trevor tries to stab his opponent with his horn. Random, magical side-effects may or may not be included with this attack.
Donkey Kick: An attack where Trevor kicks an enemy that happens to be behind him at that point. Can be surprisingly effective, as Trevor learned first-hand.
Trample 'Punch': An attack that, when untrained, looks more comedic than effective. Trevor stands up on his hind legs, and 'punches' the enemy with his front legs as many times as he can before he's forced back on all fours.
Zap: A skill where Trevor simply creates a small lightning bolt from his horn, and hits the enemy with that lightning bolt. This skill brings back memories of when he used to use his claws... or have claws... and wings...
Thunderstorm: A skill that is relatively unchanged from his previous form. Trevor uses his magic to send ten lightning bolts in an area around his enemies... whether or not they hit is another story. Oddly enough, this skill can be used indoors, and in caves with no issues.
Energize: Another skill that hasn't really changed much after his transformation. Trevor uses his lightning magic to heal himself, and his allies. Yes, it still heals physical wounds, somehow. It will also give back his allies' lost magic, and cure status ailments such as paralysis, confusion, and sleep.
Thundercrack: Trevor cloaks himself in lightning magic, and uses it to speed him up as he rushes towards the enemy... once he hits the enemy and discharges his electricity, a lightning bolt will also hit them, creating, of course, a sonic boom.
Fire 'Breath': Yes, Trevor is aware that he can't TECHNICALLY breathe fire in this form... that knowledge won't stop him from channeling his fire magic near his mouth, and 'breathing' it on his enemies.
Cut-Rate Flame Drill: A much less powerful form of a skill in his old form. Trevor cloaks his horn in fire, and stabs at his enemies with it for a while. If he can't spin his horn, then it's not really a drill, but Trevor is adamant about calling it a flame drill.
Enrage: Trevor uses his fire magic to bring out his, or someone else's rage. He, or they, gain an attack and defense boost, at the expense of ALL of their strategy. Is it worth it? Eh... sometimes.
Sticky Bomb: This move is similar to the sticky bomb move he had in his old form, it's just held up with telekinesis, and flung, rather than held in his hand, and simply stuck onto someone.
Magic Burst: Trevor uses ALL of his built up magic to unleash a HUGE explosion around him... said explosion hurts himself, his allies, and of course, his enemies. This skill is only used in dire situations, since, other than the damage from the explosion, itself, this skill ALSO leaves Trevor magically drained for upwards of two hours.
Equipment: - Basic clothing: The clothes which have already been described above, however, I'm adding them here, as well just to say that they're fireproof... just so I won't have to have them constantly burn up.
- Backpack of holding: A backpack with seemingly infinite space inside. It is, however, only capable of storing non-living things, such as objects, or food, and said thing has to be smaller than the backpack for it to hold it in the first place.
- A bunch of random food: Stored in the backpack is a bunch of food ranging from burgers to fries, pizza, water bottles... a bunch of stuff like that. Trevor will not have to worry about getting hungry for, well, a little bit longer than most.
After seemingly being thrown through a wormhole, Trevor ended up in some sort of dark, mysterious forest, and, taking a quick look at his surroundings revealed that there seemed to be some sort of ruins, nearby. Well, looks like the teleportation thing worked. I'm certainly not in Lucky City, anymore. Trevor thought as he lit his left hand on fire, just to see better in the dark, however, once he did so, he noticed something odd... he was near a chasm... and there certainly weren't enough trees here to blot out the sun like that. The only think Trevor could think of would be someone practicing their dark magic around here, but why here? He shook his head as he headed towards the ruins, his hand still on fire to light the way. Trevor took a quick look around the corner of the ruins to see an odd scene... something to do with a strange alien and a very human-looking robot talking to some sort of cloud, after which, the alien ran away... he couldn't quite make out the shape of it from this angle, but whatever it was, the robot started shooting at it, which had about as much impact as shooting a cloud would. Trevor then thought for a moment... how would one best destroy a cloud-like creature? It seemed to be rather dark, but neither he, nor the robot, he assumed, had light magic to directly counter it, so, they would have to improvise, somehow.
After taking what he thought was too long coming up with a battle plan, Trevor ran up to the robot, and just breathed fire, both on the cloud of darkness, itself, and on a nearby tree, just... desperate to have some sort of light-based THING that might hurt it. "I'm not here to hurt you, I'm a certified hero! I've already saved a world, and I'm sure I can do it again," Trevor said, rather confidently, and in English, whether the robot could understand him, or not. That... was when he finally saw what he was fighting... some sort of horse... the smile on his face immediately faded, and he decided to ditch strategy, and just flew up to the thing to try to claw at it constantly, undeterred by simple things like time, and possibly being attacked while he was attacking the thing. He didn't know, or care what anyone, or anything said to him, after his short introduction... this thing wasn't going to be allowed to live, anymore, and Trevor was going to ensure it. Trevor never thought he'd ever find a hostile horse, but boy, oh boy did THAT ever make him angry... heck, all he was seeing was a vague shape of a horse, tinted red due to his complete and utter rage at the thing. He might not have even noticed the smaller, bluer horse thing that DIDN'T seem to be hostile, right now, and if said horse was near him, and was aware of this rage, they'd probably be counting their blessings.
Don't worry about it, lol. I was originally just going to outline what he could do, but I got a bit excited... anyways, I edited the backstory to have him teleport using the artifact, and to have the other chunk be further away, as well.
oh hi, sorry I took a while to respond XD my time was shortened for a while between RL stuff and preparing the next post XD
Also, 3 letter horror show XD heavens, it's not 'that' bad! Though I have encountered people before with actual horse-phobias.
As for the CS, I dunno about 'bad', so much as 'possibly' inaccurate? I assume by chunk you're talking about the different world-fragments I mentioned in the O.P.s, Which generally would never be floating near enough to eachother to 'physically' cross, nevermind being able to 'see' eachother, and varying bettween actual floating continents to simple being passages to whole worlds. That said, some of that could be handled by the disruptive anomalies of artifacts and evil entities mentioned in that little backstory of yours xD... It's 'plausible' that your own world fragment could be drifting and just so happened to be near enough then, but given that the current scene is in the middle of the nation, and any 'edge' he could jump to would be hundreds of miles away from the action [these are planetoids in size, not small floating island :D], unless he dropped down in the middle somehow XD
Hmm... I suppose I could tweak it a little bit, maybe he could use the artifact's abilities to warp somewhere, and, of course, his chunk (which I would be more than happy to elaborate on, if you want) would be floating away, so, it's kinda like a rare event, then? Not that he'd know, of course.
