Every character, and every rp, has a song. Find it and no matter what you do, that song will put you back into it.

Why isn't phonetic spelled the way it sounds?

Bio

I'm Lullyn, or Lu. I'm interested in having lots of fun RPing on this site, but haven't made a decision of a particular genre. I'm very open, so ask. I'm happy to go with someone else's idea and play through from there, or give ideas of my own. All my characters are different, most of them created specifically for the RP I'm in, and I play male or female characters.

Song that makes me feel great: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAVTWer5gx4

Oh, if you like my rp style (see what I've done before) by all means message me and maybe I can RP with you. I'm pretty much up for anything. PM me for more details ^_^

The seas were calm, but then they always were in Neverland. There was some rain and the occassional storm, but more often than not blue, sunny skies and clear sea were all that could be beheld. On board Plunder's Compass, known as The Compass to most, First Mate Louis Dawkins surveyed the scene. Just because it was calm did not mean they were free from a dangerous attack. Between those of the creatures that called themselves Mermaids (flesh eating creatures with the upper body of a woman and the tail of a fish), a strange ticking noise that seemed to warn of a crocodile far bigger than any before seen, and Lost Boys, there was no time to stand idle and allow the crew to become complacent. They, like other ships. had lost men to these and other dangers, but that was the price of being a pirate. Dawkins called to the crew by name, sounding off their task or their watch to ensure that all were at their job or else keeping an eye. It would not do well for another man to be lost. He approached the Captain's quarters, knocking and waiting before entering. "Approach, Dawkins," said the voice of his commander inside, and her entered with a smile. Captain Glynn sat at his large oak desk, a map spread upon it and a bottle in hand. "This map is looking good," commented the Captain with pleasure as he poured his first mate a drink. "Very detailed." Dawkins nodded, taking the drink and smiling at Glynn as he raised it before taking a drink. "Captain," Dawkins said, "we're...." Glynn waved a hand. "I know, I know," Glynn said without passion. "Last 4 barrels and 3 bottles." He raised the bottle he had poured from to eye the contents, poured it all into a glass and drank it. "Make that 2 bottles," he said with a smile. "We need to do something soon. How are the crew?" "Watching the water, land and skies, sir," said Dawkins, savouring his drink by taking small sips. "Well, I think we need to contact the other ships and invite the Captain's to an accord," said Glynn. "We need to discuss the circumstances we are against." Dawkins said nothing, not even when Glynn pulled out several sealed letter. "Choose crew members to deliver them to each ship," said Glynn. "We will see who comes...." Letters were dispatched to each of the Pirate ships, with the following message. My dear (Captain's name) I, Captain Ferdinand Glynn, do hereby cordially invite you to a gathering on board the Plunder's Compass tomorrow eve to discuss our current concern regarding our futures here. I would appreciate either you, or an envoy of your choosing, join myself for a banquet, drink and lively discussion. We shall begin promptly at 7.30, therefore I ask that you be on the ship by no later than 7pm. My crew will meet with yourself, or your chosen representative, and assist them aboard. Please carry with you this letter to provide proof of your invitation. Cordially yours, Captain F. Glynn Glynn smiled, as the men prepared a meal on deck that would have been more suited for a gentleman's dinner, rather than a pirate banquet, but Glynn was happy with it all. Soon his guests would arrive. He went to his quarters to dress, leaving Dawkins and his crew to prepare and await his guests.
I'm happy for anyone to start this one. I've made 2 characters and will try to post tomorrow if no one else has.
She took it gratefully, thanking him as she moved the wolf toward it. At first it seemed at a loss, so she put her finger into it and then brought it to it's mouth. It suckled it for a moment and then seemed to get the idea. "Poor thing was starving," she said. "I was on my way to you when I heard it." It had been alone, and looking at it's colour, she worried if it might be the cub of the wolf attacked by Pepper and his goons. It whimpered and cried, but bit her when she got too close, obviously scared and hungry. She could have taken it home, but she didn't want to leave Jube any longer without her. "I think it was abandoned," she said. "I'm going to keep it and see if I can raise it." She stroked the little head as it lapped and licked the dish. "Not too much," she said, though knowing full well it wouldn't understand. "You'll get a tummy ache." Sh smiled at Jube. "I'm okay. My head is stilla little sore and my mother would kill me if sh knew I was out of bed, but I needed to make sure you were okay. Are you okay?" She looked at him with such ernest regard and concern, like it had been he who had been injured and not her.
Wel if you would ever care to join us, we would be delighted to have you.
dont worry. I have quite a few rps going on. focus on your studies and post if/when you can :)
Name Louis Dawkins. First Mate Dawkins Age 30's Which Ship/Crew do they belong to and their position The ship is the Plunder's Compass, though most do just called it The Compass. He is the First Mate Appearance Hair: Blonde, spiky on top but long at the side, over his shoulders. Eyes: one green, one brown. Built: slender but with muscle Height: 6 ft 2 Distinguishing characteristics: a scar from naval to nipple. Wears gloves and a light cotton canvas lafitte shirt, with black fitted bottoms and boots. Background The storm that his his ship was a harsh one, but The Compass had sailed through many a storm before. They had been fleeing the navy, who outnumbered them and were looking for blood. They sailed through the Bermuda Triangle and ended up in peaceful seas, with a perfect sky and smooth sea. No Navy ships about, just them, although later it turned out here were more ships than just The Compass. The crew, other than a couple, survived the journey, but many have perished since, been stolen away by Lost Boys or killed on the hunt for food, water... The First mate in always looking for fresh crew mates.
Name Captain Ferdinand Glynn of The Compass (will be the picture of Peter Dinklage) Age 30's Which Ship/Crew do they belong to and their position The ship is the Plunder's Compass, though most do just called it The Compass Appearance Hair: Brunette, floppy hair, a little on the long side Eyes: grey Built: normal Height: 1.35 m Distinguishing characteristics: well, he's a dwarf, which is quite distinguishing. Ansell Frock coat, cotton shirt, with black fitted bottoms and boots. Background Captain Glynn won Plunder's Compass in a card game. Up until then, he had not been a Captain, but another hired hand. He was a dwarf and known as a likeable lad, good in the crows nest ("because he fits so well" some joked) but never really settling for one Captain or one ship. There was only so many ways to become a Captain. One of which was to be first mate and inherit the ship on the previous one's death and another was to win one. Glynn wasn't stupid. he made sure he had the needed men to crew his ship before having one, and his first mate, Dawkins, was already well known and loyal to him. They came as a pair on hired excursions and though they had both been offered, many times over, to accept permanent hospitality of a ship, neither had been so inclined. Glynn needed muscle because he was a dwarf and wanted to keep his "likeable lad" image. He drank and womanised all through the game, laughing heartily and telling stories as the game progressed. But Glynn was not a stupid man, and nor was Dawkins, who stood still and silent by his side, moving only to allow one wench to leave the Captain or another to take her place. It was this acting that so often distracted the other Captains and crew members from Dawkins, whose had would be on Glynn's back, occasionally making pressures against it. It was their cheaters code, not for them to cheat but to spot cheating. Cheating and lying were part of any card game with Pirates, but only if you weren't caught. Then the dilemma started. If you accused another pirate of cheating, your brother pirates could side with you, especially if that Pirate had been winning a lot. After all, you'd split their pile between you. However, the declarer of such thing would then be seen as such and would be a dangerous person to allow to play again. Your brothers may also choose to side with the cheater, if you had been making no friends or if they too had been cheating and didn't want to be called on it. So you had to be a clevercheat. (ooc: still under construction) The storm that his ship was a harsh one, but The Compass had sailed through many a storm before. The Captain in always looking for fresh crew mates. Whilst he understands the needs for pirates to stick together, as they cannot sail away, without somehow coming back, they are pirates and therefore untrustworthy.
Hi all, I'm planning a rp based on the story of Peter Pan/Neverland. THIS MAY BE DARK AND VIOLENT. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED So, what is it about? Forget what you think you know about Peter and the Lost Boys. They were stories for children. Neverland may be a emerald jewel in a Sapphire sea, but that is where the old tale twists. So which side will you choose? Will you be a pirate? Who sailed through the Bermuda Triangle and ended up in this strange place, where creatures attack your home and the only way to get food is to fish or venture on land? Could you be an Indian?Defending your home from invaders, who upset the balance of nature and who seem to be always trying to cause problems? Are you a lost boy? Who is this mysterious boy called Pan, who send you on missions without any explanation of what they are for? Will you dare defy him and risk the wrath of your brothers. Pick a side. Those on their own don't live long....
Please join the group on the link in my signature! You many have more than one character and they can be in different factions/groups however you must be able to maintain them. If you decide it's no longer for you, let me know. I'll happily create a "farewell" post for the character. If you are inactive for too long, you may get one of these anyway.... ;)
Avril pulled a face at her words, but then smiled. "My mother, thank goodness, hasn't left her throne," Avril informed her good friend, walking toward her, though keeping carefully out of the way. "Please do not mention suitors, thought I saw your favourite seemed to want your attentions." Avril knew well of Lambert through her friend's telling and her tone was teasing, but her face then grew concerned. "I wonder if he would ever understand the idea of rejection," she said with a shake of her head. In her heart, she wanted her friend to be happy. She wondered what would have happened if she had such a suitor. Her's were young boys who were harmless, though sometimes difficult to deter. Lambert was stubborn and determined. "Has he spoken to your father?" she asked, though she felt her friend would have told her if there was a fix upon her union. "Surely he would not wish you unhappy?" She knew her own parents, especially her father, would not wish her unhappy, but if her mother felt something was in her best interest, there would be determined encouragement.
Kes smiled, but looked around in case spotted. "I'll tell you everything," she said, "but this little guy needs food, ideally milk." The cub in her arms gave a little whimper. There were small bites on one of her hands, but they didn't look too severe. She moved to his room without waiting more words, sitting on the floor and placing the cub on her knee. It sat there, whining slightly, and she stroked it's head gently. "Poor little thing must have been starving," she said softly.
Sorry guys, but I have several RP's that need my attention and I won't be able to keep making them wait. Good luck with the RP. If anyone would like Chastity, have her, or you can kill her ;)
