Actually, the characters are based off of a 1x1 roleplay I'm part of on this site. The roleplay had been going on for a while now and I've decided I'd like to turn it into a comic. Still not sure where I'll be posting the comic, maybe Tapastic or Smackjeeves, and probably on my Deviant account, but I was actually planning on getting started on it within the next couple of weeks or so.~

(Oh, and on a side note, if you actually wanted a commission, you can still request one. ^^ I'm doing them for free, I was never expecting payment, I'd just like to get some practice.)

Luxx here, thank you for taking a peek at this thread. I've been creating art and what-not for years now and although I've been on the site for quite a long time, I've never gotten around to posting any of my work here.

I'm going to have a little more time on my hands soon and I have a couple of roleplay ideas that I've been dying to try out. Before I get into those though, I have a couple of requirements:

>Do not abandon me. If you need to leave, or you just aren't interested anymore, please let me know, I'm a big girl, I can take it. Nothing is more frustrating than being excited for a roleplay and then being ignored by the person you were going to roleplay with. Please just let me know so I can find someone who is actually interested in the roleplay..

> Please be okay with mature content. This means violence, language, and sexual situations. Both of my ideas involve romance, so sexual situations will pop up at some point. I don't want the roleplay to be revolved around romance of course, but without romance I usually lose interest in roleplays quickly..

> Don't give me any one liners. For the most part, I would prefer if I received at least a couple of paragraphs each post. Nothing too excessive, but no less than two paragraphs.

Now, onto my ideas. I'm only really looking for one roleplayer for each of these ideas, so it will probably be a first come first serve type of deal.

Also, these are vague explanations, giving room for changes and whatnot, so have an open mind.

A War Between Races

Set in an alternate world, this is a Neko Boy x Neko Girl pairing.
A war has begun between the human race and a feline race. These humanoid felines are peaceful beings and for years they have been degraded by humans, used as slaves even. One day the humans decide that they want to take the land owned by these felines for themselves. When the feline race puts up a fight, the humans mercilessly begin to kill them off, whether they be warriors or innocents children. For years this war takes place and for years no feline dares to stand up to the humans, until someone kills off a small patrol of the humans with ease. This happens over and over and it begins to confuse the humans.
It isn't just one person killing the humans though and protecting the innocent of their kind, there are two of them. Our characters are skilled in what they do, assassins of sorts, using the shadows as necessary and taking out any who dare try and hurt their kind. Things have become a bit complicated recently however. Your character has fallen in love with mine secretly, the both of them have been together since they were children, always training together and spending time with one another in general. What used to be nothing more than a crush has blossomed into something deeper and it has caused your character to be terribly protective of mine. She can handle herself just fine, but that doesn't make him worry any less.
To top it all off, more and more soldiers are being sent into the woods after them, making it even more difficult for them to hide. The war is gradually coming right to them, and while they're fine with fighting off soldiers, the two hardly know how to put an end to this war.

Preyed Upon

Set in a medieval-fantasy world, this is a Bounty Hunter x Slave Girl pairing.
The young girl, whom I will be playing, is a pet of sorts to powerful King. He keeps her close, finding joy in exploiting her and causing her pain. One night, she finally finds a chance to escape, to finally taste freedom for once in her life. Of course, when the King finds his little pet is missing, he is far from pleased. He sets a hefty bounty on her head, promising to grant the payment to any man who brings his slave back to him alive.
This is where your character comes in. A famed, feared elven bounty hunter from a far eastern country travels to this kingdom in search of some extra coin. When he finds out about the bounty over the young girl's head, he takes it as a wonderful opportunity. There's no way she would last long out on her own, and she certainly couldn't have gotten far, so he goes out after her, searching for his prize.
When he finally finds her, he finds himself hesitating and after spending some time with her on the way back to the castle, the young man is unable to give her up to a man who undoubtedly has terrible plans for her. Although he knows that al sorts of trouble will follow, he decided to take responsibility for her, running off with her in hopes that the King might forget about her. The King does not so easily give up his possessions though.

Correction, police didn't kill anyone else that night. There were two shootings between only black people downtown that no one cared about. It had nothing to do with the police. My point is that everyone is upset because it was a white man who shot a black teen. Black people kill each other all the time here in the city and no one cares. We're one of the top five murder capitols in the United States. No one cares about stuff like this unless it can be made into a controversial issue, such as race.

All the tiny details of the situation really don't matter. At all. The law is being broken in both courts. I imagine there are absolutely hood rats taking advantage of the situation but that's due to the fact these peaceful protests, which were at one point peaceful, and at one point protests, have practically escalated into a riot. They are quick to turn this into a racial issue because it is. Mike Brown is innocent. He is absolutely innocent and the proof is almost ridiculous. But that doesn't matter. What matters is the fact that we've gotten to a point where cops are patrolling a city like some kind of private militia, tear gassing JOURNALISTS for christ's sakes and completely ignoring the constitution and foundation of laws, rules and beliefs this country was founded upon. These are not people looking to serve justice. And what's even worse is there will be no justice. Nobody is going to punish these cops for abusing their power. These cops want a reason to pull their triggers. What's even worse is if our founding fathers were hypothetically brought back to life and shown the situation before them they'd be shitting themselves at the sight of so many African American's. This doesn't feel like a country man. It's disgusting. When shit get's real anybody that can do anything will do nothing because it'll merely put a target on their back. It's disgusting.Politicians are irrelevant.

As far as the police abusing their power, I'm sure they are to some extent. People with power have this uncanny habit of abusing it when given the chance after all.

What I want to point out though, are the assumptions everyone makes because they like to take the side of the "victim". First of all, there is no proof whatsoever that completely supports the innocence of Michael Brown, other than opinions, nor is prere evidence that say the cop was in his right. Secondly, this is only a racial issue because people want to make it a racial issue. Everyone just assumes that this cop shot the kid because he was black. Why does race even apply in this situation at all? The story should be " cop shoots teen", not, "cop shoots black teen." Who cares what the color of his skin is?

The fact is, this kid ran back at the cop and he felt threatened so he shot. Was he right to shoot? Who knows? Everyone keeps saying that Michael is such a good kid, when in actuality, he has multiple charges of assault and robbery. I can't bring myself to take a side. There's just too much that we don't know.

Also, the "peaceful protesting" never started as such. To begin with, it was a ceremony for Michael's death held by the family. Then later that evening they burned down a QT and it escalated from there. The actual protesting started when police came to try and calm things down, seeing as people were looting and throwing bricks off of a highway overpass.

Now, as someone who actually lives in the Ferguson-Florissant area, I just have to put my opinion up on this matter. I don't have anymore evidence about this whole situation as any of you do and honestly it's terrifying when you drive down the street and see stores that you've been to before smashed in. My opinion isn't driven toward the shooting of Michael Brown, it's toward the 'protests' that are going on night after night.

I don't care what people say on the news, what you all have heard, but these protests are in no way shape or form peaceful. Half the people are hood rats from downtown St. Louis who are coming up to Ferguson and taking advantage of the situation. Most of them don't really care that Michael Brown was shot, they just want to take part in the chaos. If they really cared that someone was shot, they wouldn't be out stealing shoes, weave, and rims. You know, that same night, two other kids were shot downtown, but no one cares about them at all. They're just all too eager to make this whole situation a racial issue.

If this really was just a protest, then things wouldn't have gotten out of hand like they have. If it was just a protest, I wouldn't be afraid to walk down the street in the middle of day, or drive in certain areas where I live. I say let the cops do what they want. They could easily go about their "protesting" in a different way, and yet they all continue to shoot off guns in the middle of the night, burn down buildings, and scream "Fuck you," to the police. The quicker all of this is over, the better.
