I just watched Plastic Nee-san... and I still don't know what I just watched. XDD But I loved it.

And Reap, I've made a way for your character to join us.
The cart rattled and shook with every dip in the road, making the process of allowing her magic to regenerate even more difficult. Atina, who had climbed into the back of the carriage, would occasionally lean out the back and cough up some blood before muttering a chant or two under her breath. Why is the magic being ejected now? She wondered to herself before she leaned against the fabric of the siding. They had reached the gate and had been questioned, but as soon as Merek had made an excuse, she couldn't help but feel extremely grateful for having both Kyron and Merek on their side. Without them, they most likely would have had to fight their way from the city. She looked out the window and noticed that the moon was full. Grasping the box that held the sacred Tarot cards, she felt it shiver and resonate a strange and ancient power against the palms of her clenched hands. The Tarot... possibly one of the first magics to be presented to this part of our world. She thought this with a slight pride for her guild and her own self as she enchanted it to stick to her belt no matter how hard one tugged. The usage of the magic forced more blood to fill her throat and mouth.

Of course, it had been about an hour since they had exited the city, but she couldn't stand leaning out the covered back any longer. She opened the back of the carriage and jumped out, signalling Merek and Kyron at the front to slow to a stop and that she would be alright. She walked a distance away before she coughed up more blood. She glanced down at the blood and realized that it wasn't the healing magic that caused this. It was a curse. Most likely from the King of Pentacles... him and his nasty blood magic... it's only when I use my own magic... which means he might have sent one of his Bloodied Hounds out to hunt me down... She wiped the black blood away from her lips and she gasped for air. Which means that I'm only going to be leading him or the Haze to where I am... I'm going to have to watch where this blood ends up, then... until it wears off or I can have someone remove it from me.

She stood up straight again and heard water, which would be a miracle at a time like this. She walked towards the pool and began to drink from it, cleaning out the blood from her mouth, but suddenly the miracle may have turned into danger when she heard a giant splash. Reeling back from the water, she summoned a fireball into her hands and stood up, prepared to fight, but that's when she saw a woman who was bathing in the water.... and a floating man. She stared at them for a long moment before the fireball disappeared and she bent forward to cough up black blood once more.
I know that it's not totally original, but it'll make "training" easier if a creature can be classified under an element. It doesn't have to completely be that element, if you catch my drift.

And for your reserves.... are they for trainees or high class?
It can be hinted at with a time skip. XDD
Wanna claim yourself a spot?

Yes.

Well, this is a relief. XDD
Quick question: are we going to find crystals or something that will grant us our powers or are there going to be some sort of spirits? XD

I'd love to see you guys in other threads as well. XD Y'all are good at what you do.

There is a war within all of us...
Whether good or evil prevails...
That is for you to decide.

The world of Paroade is a beautiful and mysterious one that is unknown to our own. It is at the peak of its technology--the peak of its economy, even. But what makes this world so beautiful is not the towering, alabaster cities--those are simply the diamonds on a much larger crown--but the creatures that live within them. When a child is born, their body and soul is separated into two beings. Their bodies are unaffected by the lack of a soul, because their spirit is still linked to them through a strange connection called a Chord, which is marked by a birthmark somewhere on their bodies--mostly on their wrist or their shoulder. Once they have been branded to match their partner, they can never truly be separated--no matter the distance between them. Of course, these creatures grow alongside their Bonded and will fight for them until the day that they die. Despite all of this seeming like something exquisite and lovely, there is a catch; if the human of the Bonded were to lose their creature, they would go insane to the point where they would become suicidal, but if the creature of the Bonded were to lose their human, then they would slowly die away.

In Paroade, there are few sports like football and gymnastics, but there are sports that are befitting of their creatures. Many of the Bonded participate in "Jousting", which consists of two or more pairs of Bonded to go against one another until there is only one left standing. This is the big game that everyone follows and aspires to win. Anyone may participate, but few are actually ranked. Those within the top twenty are considered to be the highest standing celebrities in their country of origin. Every century, many countries come together and pit their top ranked against one another to show dominance and strength over the others; this is what keeps the peace within the world--as there are very few wars besides trading and economic ones.

The time is coming in one of the smaller countries, known as Demencia, where they are holding their tri-annual tournament to see who will stand the strongest within the nation. Many even come from various countries to participate. Only those who are the strongest and best ranked may pit themselves against the "High Class", or the top seven. Of course, there is still one year before this astounding event is to occur, but there is yet another event that is about to present itself to the public-- the chance to be trained by the High Class themselves. By winning the Trainee Tournament, you may study under one of the High Class of your choice in order to learn how to strengthen your Bond as well as bring yourself to your full potential.

Will you participate in the Trainee Tournament in hopes of finding out the weaknesses and strengths of the High Class?
Or are you going to take on an apprentice in hopes of proving that power is only an illusion?

Screw the sex, but hey, there can be plenty of gore and whatnot. Those that don't like their characters bleeding more than a bloody nose are not welcome. XDD
I'm considering the thought of making a new RP. It would be based around humans who's souls are in the form of a live creature (probably mythical or real), and they have a thing for battling with them. Don't know why. Just had a hankering for this kind of RP.
