Amira was simply wandering through the electronics street, avoiding any android scanner or shopkeeper that she happened to catch a glimpse of. Luckily for her, she was the newest model and the most popular, so many of her sisters strode with their masters or acted as caretakers for the children. She would smile politely at those she passed, her own stride was so natural that many wouldn't have ever guessed that she were an android herself. Just as the screens shut down, she watched as people turned towards each other in fear and confusion. She simply took in their reaction and glanced up at the screen as the words appeared. What on earth is that supposed to mean? Perhaps there is more wrong with this world than I was programmed to believe? Then small frown formed on her pink lips before she continued down the street toward the autoparts and car shops. Police and androids began to assure the people that things were under control and not to panic. I can't stay here any longer...Her legs then carried her from that district and Ito the next. She'd found cars and hover vehicles amazing, though she'd never ridden in one before.

Stepping out and into the street, she turned only to be face to face with a hover bike. The impact was immediate and she was thrown into the air before landing a few meters into the road. She wasn't dazed as much as she was startled. Her automaton heart pounding in her chest. She quickly stood up and brushed herself off before going to make sure the the rider was alright, as was her first instinct programmed into her system.

Age: Was born just as the Seasonal War began, appears to be 19-20 years of age.

Background: Born to the highest circle of the Winter Court, she was shunned by her mother and a good portion of her people for her appearance. With striking red hair and light blue eyes, she stuck out like a sore thumb. Many believe her to be a mix between the Summer and Winter Fey, due to her father being unknown. Her mother passed away when she was seven, denying her every question that she had ever asked about her father and why she had never loved her as her only child. Without any answers, she was slowly accepted into the Winter Court as she showed hatred towards the Summer Fey. She became a great leader among the rest of her kin, learning to fight alongside her people. She and the cold had fully become one. Then, she stumbled across a human child one early winter's day. The child was nearly freezing after having being locked outside during one of his mother's drunken fits. She sat down with the child, protecting him from the cold. Once the child was let back inside of the house, she began to feel something like awe and admiration for the mortal realm. More and more of her time was spent in theirs than her own, once again making her an outcast. Alas, she still fights for the cold when autumn rolls along, and will stop at nothing until snow and ice covers everything.

Into the Fey - Currently Accepting~!

Background

The Fey, or fairies, were once the most unique and well-known of creatures in the Old World. They were the keepers of peace, of seasons, and nature. They protected those who believed and children from malice and their evil kin that longed to do them harm. They were seen only if they wished to be seen, and even then, many people couldn't tell you if what they'd seen was a fairy or a someone of high beauty. The strongest of the Fey were those that were believed to be part of the Court, or nobility, that they had established among themselves. Whether they bred with mortals or not; it is unknown.

Story

Back when the world was new and the mortal race was young, the Fey were their protectors. They kept the mortal race from dying out and provided them with the means necessary to survive the harsh environments that they tread. The strongest of the Fey were those that belonged to the High Courts, or the Seasonal Fey, and those that wished only harm to the mortals as the Dark Fey. Summer Fey taught the mortals how to farm and take only what they needed from nature. The Winter Fey, on the other hand, taught them that all things need to be given a break and that they themselves were allowed to rest. The Dark Fey, or those that had fallen into greed, spite, and disease wanted nothing more than to see the human race whither into nothingness. Alas, the Dark Fey were too few to accomplish their goals and the Seasonal Fey ruled over the mortals. Things were so simple back then...

But as time passed, the mortals began to make their own paths, create their own things. They moved away from deriving off of the glorious natural things and began to create machinery and new tools that would destroy the earth. Wars over land and plagues spread from the Dark Fey, who had grown stronger over the years as hatred and malice began to develop among the human race. The Summer and Winter Courts gathered to discuss if they would allow the humans to continue down the path to their own demise just as the Dark Fey intended, or if they would fight back and prevent their beautiful world from dying. The Summer Fey fought for the rebirth of the land, arguing that if the mortals saw more of the prosperous months they would end their own plight. The Winter Fey chose to fight for longer cold months, saying that the humans would slow down their destruction if they were forced back by the chilling winds of the north. They fought until they realized that nothing could be done, nothing could be decided for sure. They started their own war, creating the seasons of autumn and spring, hoping that they would provide what the mortals needed. Many of the Seasonal Fey died as they fought, but more so fell into their own despair and turned into Dark Fey themselves.

Although the mortals were unable to see the Fey fight, they could most certainly feel it. Crops would die if the autumns were too short and the soil would stay unhealthy if the snow could not heal it. But mortals did just as the mortals always had, adapt and continue onward their own path. But things are changing, Winter and Summer Fey are beginning to appear in front of humans more often, even mingling with them in hopes of escaping their Seasonal War. The Dark Fey have also hidden among the mortals, striking at every chance they get to fight for their own means.

Whose side shall you fight for? Or perhaps if you are mortal... whose side shall you choose?

Rules

1. Myself, Mad Scarlet, and thegirlwhoseemed are the moderators of this RP. What we say goes. No arguments.

2. Swearing is allowed, but we are not sailors here. Keep your language to a professional minimum.

3. God-moding is out of the question. Don't even think about it.

4. Your posts must be more than three sentences long, but don't write a novel every time you post. People have to be able to catch up if they take a break or are gone for a short period of time.

5. If you know that you are not going to be able to post... please let one of the mods know. We might be able to help you catch up or move your character along with the plot.

6. Cybering is most certainly not allowed. If you're going to do the "frick frack", take it into the PMs or somewhere we don't have to read it. If we wanted to read porn, we'd just go read poorly written fanfiction.

7. If you are going to be one of the Fey, it doesn't mean that you "continuously freeze those you love" or "burn those you touch". Keep it real. A good portion of the Fey are very good at controlling their powers. Oh, and Summer Fey don't "control fire". They can manipulate some forms of heat and control nature. Look in the Hider below to see what their powers are limited to!

8. If you are mortal, the only way for you to become a "Fey" or a "Halfling", is for you to be born into it or to have eaten something that the Fey have given you.

Fey Abilities

Summer Fey - They are the bringers of warmth and rebirth. They often can warm up things with their touch, and occasionally burn things if that is their intent. They are often associated with nature powers, such as growing plants and manipulating nature as a whole. They are able to shapeshift into a single animal of their choosing. They are strongest during the spring/summer months and daytime.

Winter Fey - They are the bringers of cold and restoration. They can chill things with their touch, and occasionally freeze things if that is their intent. They are associated with the northern wind and sleep. They are sometimes referred to as "dream walkers", because they can enter people's dreams and nightmares. They are able to shapeshift into a single animal of their choosing. They are strongest during the autumn/winter months and nighttime.

Dark Fey - They are the bringers of malice and pain. They have the ability to inflict sickness and pain upon those that they make contact with. They are associated with nightmares, plagues, and wars. They can manipulate the evil thoughts in other Fey and mortals, causing them to do things that they normally wouldn't do if they are not protected. They are the strongest during the nighttime hours and within nightmares.

Mortals

Mortals - Though they don't seem to be anything special, they are actually the strongest of the races. They do not need to rely upon other Fey to help them and naturally have an immunity to the treachery of the Dark Fey. Certain mortals called "Seers" can view the Fey whether they wished to be seen or not. These folk are uncommon, but not impossible to find. Most Fey try to rid of them if they come into contact with a Seer. They can be turned into "Half-Fey" or "Halflings" if they consume anything from the Fey. This makes them age at half the speed of a normal human and also gives them lesser abilities of the Fey that turned them. They could be the turning point of the Seasonal War and be the end of the Dark Fey.
