Biography: Eric Williams, an ex-soldier turned full-time huntsman, had a typical upbringing. All the men in his family have been active military and he followed in their footsteps. However his time in the military was cut short as during the night while on campaign his squadron was attacked, but not by the enemy... a creature was the culprit of the brutal assault. Moving like the wind, blending into the shadows, the beast was able to slaughter the entire group of trained soldiers with ease. Killing all of them except for one... Eric. He was left badly injured, but was able to escape. Unknowing to him that this ordeal will end up changing his life forever. Eric Williams was given the option to leave the army due to the traumatizing event and was sent home to recover and to be with his family. A month would go by and Eric was doing fine, but he began to notice changes in himself. His eyesight became sharper, his hearing clearer, and his sense of smell also changed. He noticed he had more stamina, could could faster, longer, could jump higher and farther, his reflexes became a lot better as well and he became stronger too. Something was happening to Eric and he had no idea what, but soon enough his questions shall be answered...
One night, at around 8:00PM Eric was out cutting some firewood, the clouds covering the moon and the only light source was a small lantern that he had placed on a nearby log. As the winds shift, the clouds pass over the moon, exposing its light. This moon was no ordinary, it was a fullmoon. Legends say that during the light of the fullmoon, men transform into feral beasts, forgetting their selves in the process. Eric is just about to undergo such a transformation, for the creature that murdered his squadron and left him to die a month ago was... a Werewolf.
As the light touched the surface of Eric's body his back popped backwards, sending the man down onto his knees. His hands gripped the earth, his fingers digging into the soil as his entire body began to turn into a beast. His legs and arms stretched, his fingers elongating, his jaw and face morphing into that of an animal. He would put on muscle as his clothing ripped from his body like shredded paper. Claws and teeth followed suit along with a thick coat of fur and hair. In less than a minute Eric was no longer a man, but a feral animal... a wild beast. Eric whom was no fully transformed rose from the ground and shot his head upwards, releasing a blood curdling howl at the direction of the moon.
The howl would alert his wife whom was within the home. Fearing for her husband, Sara would rush outside to warn him, but to her horror what stood in front of her was no longer the man she once knew... no, what stood in front of her was an animal, an animal that was out for blood, carnage, and death. As she backed away slowly, the creature in front of her would approach shortly, its footsteps thumping with each step. She would quickly turn around and tried to return to the home, but she tripped and fell. She quickly rolled onto her back and in a second the beast was on top of her, breathing against her face. As she stared into the beast's eyes a tear would roll down the side of her face as she would mumbled out the name 'Eric' and soon after that a long, deathly scream echoed through the surrounding wood as the creature ripped her stomach and chest open with his claws. The Werewolf would stand up, blood dripping from his claws.
He sniffed the air, trying to catch the scent of another victim. One was located and it was close... extremely close. The animal would walk towards the entrance of the home and ripped the hinges off the door and made its way inside. It moved silently, listening to what seemed to be whimpering. As it moved down the hall the faint sound of someone crying can be heard. This quickly triggered a predatory response from the Werewolf as it rushed towards the sound. It slowly peaked its head inside a room and what it saw was this: a little girl, shaking in a corner, holding her beloved stuffed animal. Her head dow against her knees as she called out for her mother and father. The beast would enter the room slowly, breathing heavily and would soon stop in front of her. The child's crying got louder and louder, basically screaming for her mother or father, but they would not answer. Only the sound of the creature's breathing was heard to her. The animal would raise its right arm, extended its finger tips and... silence. The crying had stopped, the girl no longer making a sound. The beast had murdered her and gave no second thought of it. Blood stained the nearby window and the creature watched as it dripped down the panes.
It looked at its reflection and could see the moon above him. He leaped against the window, breaking it and started to run. It ran into the nearby woods, running for hours on end until finally stopping on a rocky hill. As it stood on the hill, it looked up and gave another howl into the sky.
A new beast had been created this evening and with it no-one was safe. No-one.
