Hey folks,
The name's Shawn and I'm twenty-three years old. I'm Portuguese from the Great White North and I've been roleplaying since I was seventeen or so. Making it around six years, give or take. I prefer a more casual style, but I've been known to put in the extra work for advanced level roleplaying when in the mood. Although I think for now I'm going to hang around the free section due to time constraints and other such reasons. Don't mind to add me on Skype (shawn.alexandre22) to talk and discuss roleplay! Make sure to state what your forum username is though!

I'm currently a manager at a local reptile store which I have been working for nearly a decade now and some of my interests include: Video games, comics, fantasy, the supernatural, art, paranormal, music, sports, outdoor activities, swimming, hunting, collecting knick-knacks, cooking, paleontology, zoology, reading and many other things. I live alone, but have two dogs and two cats, and various reptiles. I'm currently working on a large-scale original causal-advanced RPG known simply as: The World of Caelum.

Luke raised a single eyebrow before letting his name slip through his lips, "Luke." He then paused for a moment, trying to figure out the right questions. "So, what's your story, Joey? Wait... huh, you weren't born with it, were you? No, your scent is off, different. You live with the curse..." Luke said softly, kind of feeling sorry for Joey. He didn't ask for this life, having a beast within his body. A beast that unlike Luke he couldn't control. His entire persona changed and he stretched out his arm with an open hand before telling him, "I may not know you, but we share a bond. If there's anything you need, Joey, give me holler, alright?" Luke's ears began to twitch again, the sounds of his fellow footballers were once again acting up. He shook his head, annoyed that he plays with these hollow skulled assholes. - "Hmm..." mumbled Beck. "Let's see." He reached into his pack on the floor and took out his agenda, and with a ah-ha he said, "My first class is math, followed by biology and history. Lunch is my forth period and finally there is sparring. Yourself?"
@xXSINXx Luke is always down for a chat up with the rotti- ahem... I mean lovely Alexi. :P @Letmehaveone2 Hmm... frost breath, eh? This certainly adds a lot more challenge for the canine. Not only must he watch out when he gets up close, but now also in the medium-ish range as well. I think I may still give the slight edge to the werewolf, but not by much. Perhaps something like 6/10 or something like that. If it was fire I'll probably give it to the dinosaur or 50/50 since mythological werewolves had a weakness to fire, if I remember.
Beck felt a deep sadness at the situation that Eliza and her sister, Emerald, are going through. What a disgusting policy Beck thought to himself, but he could somewhat relate. "My kind are of similar views." He started. "We've been living here on Earth for millions of years, but it is only recently that our species have been slowly emerging from Hollow Earth. My elders frown upon us who leave our home, afraid of what we could bring back. Forever we strived to be isolated from the world, but I and many others feel differently. Sometimes change is a good thing, and if change brings happiness to one than who are we to disagree?" He finally finished with a slow sigh. "But, perhaps there's a bright side in all of this. For starters - you would have never got this opportunity, to see and interact with others. I think that is what I like the most about here..." He told her with a smile. - Luke eyed his fellow werewolf closely, scoffing to himself at his sight. With Joey's simple 'hello', Luke would too give him a simple reply with a nod of his head.
@Letmehaveone2 I suppose I'll need to go all nerd on this question then. Ha-ha. So, without further ado: Arin's dinosaur form is the larger of the two in all possible dimensions. He is taller, heavier, and longer, giving him various beneficial attributes. He'll also be the stronger of two I would imagine because he is so huge. His attacks would be more powerful, but surely they'll be more sluggish and slow. A werewolf on the other hand is both quick and strong, a perfect combination of the two. A werewolf may not be as strong as the dinosaur, but it is surely no stick. The werewolf would also be quicker, more agile, nimble, etc. With this said, I think I'll give it to the werewolf, honestly. You have the speed advantage and since a werewolf is no weakling this is a lethal duo. While Arin's dinosaur form may be more powerful in terms of absolute strength, its certainly slower. I think the werewolf would be able to dodge and counterattack much quicker and better than Arin just to clobber the wolf. The werewolf simply needs to not get hit too often and it should prevail. Tada!
@Letmehaveone2 Werewolf or a dinosaur? Hmm... too many variables! Its a toss up, I say.
@Letmehaveone2 Allow me to edit my recent post then. I'll add a small detail that Luke noticed him. EDIT: Done.
Luke would once again laugh, placing his hand over his forehead. "At times Fiera I feel that all that heat of yours goes straight into your head with nowhere to escape. A werewolf and a vampire? Can't say I heard of that partnership before. Huh, not even sure if that's possible..." He said, turning his attentions towards the large glass windows on the other side of class. As Luke stared at the outside his nose was soon kicked into high gear. His head violently looked forward as he secretly sniffed the air. ...Werewolf... Was the thought going on in Luke's head. Werewolves for the most part seem to be quite rare, at least compared to vampires. He was quite intrigued at this new wolf and he wished to know all about him in time. - "I was rather close then!" Beck said with a large grin. "Oh, please do," replied Beckham. "I would absolutely adore for you to watch me swim... despite how rather awkward that sounds." Laughed Beck before continuing, "And yes, I would enjoy to watch you run. Should be quite exciting to see." He was then once again taken back by Eliza's magic as he watched the small snowflakes around her fingers. Her question though was an interesting one and one that Beck said with encouragement, "You'll enjoy it. Its an excellent school and I'm personally glad that I decided to join when I did. Believe it or not I was quite shy at first, but those fears soon left thanks to all the wonderful folks here."
@ScarlettWaters16 Edited my most recent post! - @Letmehaveone2 Neat character. Can't for Luke and Joey to interact with one another.
Luke's sensitive ears twitched, hearing the conversation between Fiera and Alexi peaked his attention. He couldn't help but chuckle before speaking aloud to them for his desk, "Hey, Feira! You know I ain't deaf, right? I can hear you loud and clear from way back over here." He said laughing before jokingly sending Alexi a quick wink. - "Oooh, a botanist is she now?" Said Beck. "Interesting. I know quite a great deal about plants, and nature as a whole. Oh, she should surely enjoy the remarkable plant life and flora that inhabits Hollow Earth. Wonders beyond comprehension. How I miss it so. But I digress." He would soon raise an eyebrow at Eliza's second question. "I am quite the swimmer actually. Captain of the swim team to be fair." Beck would chuckle a bit after hearing that some call her a cheater, but he knew better. "Nonsense!" He proclaimed. "For if you were a cheater then so am I! As a Reptilian I can swim incredibly quick. Perhaps not as fast as Merfolk, but fast enough to win gold." He said with a smirk.
"...Awe-inspiring." Mumbled Beck to himself as he watched the beautiful ice sculpture form from Eliza's open palm. What caught his attention the most was not the magic, but that his name was spelt out. He was soon brought back into the proper thought as she placed the sculpture on the desk. "Thank you," he said to her in reply to her compliment about his name. "Ah, yes - you did. Well, I'm not much for magic and spells. I am no magician, nor mage or fairy, clearly." He chuckled, "but I suppose you can say that I'm a sort of shape-shifter. A Reptilian, to be more exact." - With Fiera's remark about the football team, one of the guys called out, "Oooh, you hear that guys. Hot-stuff over here doesn't cheer for losers. Don't worry, babe. We never lose. Were just that damn good." The rest of the jocks simply laughed and gave each other high-fives. Luke, being the quarterback and arguably the only one of them with a brain simply shook his head. "Idiots..." He said to himself.
