Kadan was taken by surprise when he was suddenly hugged, these surface dwellers were passionate, to say the least, "I um yes its nice to meet you as well," the Atlantean looked around the room at his supposed team, to him a highly militant person they seemed unkempt and unready for battle, but Kadan had promised his king he would give them a shot, "I hope we can all work as a unit." The next thing that happened was their leader spoke up and Kadan listened before saluting him, "I will do my best to make proud my Atlantean forefathers and my current King! Thank you for taking the brave mantle of leader, I will follow your orders as if they came from my king. I will not fail."
After the argument with that short bully of a boy, Leon the one who had been given the damn label "skyscraper" was rather irritated and wanted to let off steam, that boy reminded him of every thug in Gotham, that attitude that made life so hard for him and his mother after his dad had passed away. Muscle bound idiots who ha!f the time didn't even pay him for his curior service, Bullies, Leon hated Bullies. Leon had made his way to the mess hall, and piled on a bunch of food and started eating, once he was finished, he started making his way through the school, of course he dropped off all his stuff in his dorm and then made his way back to the training area he had passed on his walk to said dorm. When he entered he saw quite a few people had already thought of the same thing and were getting ready to train, Leon bumped into someone leaving with their hood up and their hands in their pockets, Leon placed his hand on their shoulder and with the warm kind tone of a leader said, "Don't run off just yet my friend..." He looked around the room and taking in everything realized maybe they were leaving because they had no sparring partner, "If you're alone I can train with you...I was hoping not to have to train alone again..." His accent was a strange but silky mix of light Italian and Gotham streetrat, with a smile he removed his hand from their shoulder, "think about it...could be fun?"
The king had a higher sense for flair than what Kadan would like but he had to admit showing up through the teleporter with the sound of the royal sea conchs playing was dramatic to say the very least. As he stepped into the teleporter he took one long last look at his family, and waved them goodbye, "I will return father! A champion of earth!" And with that he pressed the button and zipped through the teleporter, as he came out the other side the royal conchs started playing so loudly it rattled the windows of the new base, Kadan stood there with the a cold militaristic look about him and when the royal introduction stopped he cleared his throat and saluted his new teammates, "Good morning surface dwellers I am Kadan...you may call me Riptide...or Kadan I care neither way. The king of Atlantis sends his regards and myself as his voice to the team...it is a pleasure to meet you all."

brief history:
Kadan was an Atlantean who was graced with a rather boring life his father worked under the king and his family was well taken care of, this of course made Kadan a wannabe rebel who went out and did dangerous things because in his mind he was immortal, it was that fateful night that his life changed, he had been close to shore in gotham, wanting to explore the surface world, that's when he heard screams and despite himself went to try and help, he found a woman being robbed by men in clown masks, Kadan attacked the men not realizing he was much stronger than any mortal man he accidentally crushed the bones of the first one he punched sending him flying into the docks, that'swhen he noticed the man with a shotgun, Kadan had never seen surface weapons he had no reason to be afraid and as the blast hit him he knew pain, his super durable skin had kept it from doing any damage but the blunt pain was intense. Kadan uppercut the man sending a blast of electricity into him killing him instantly without meaning to, when he stopped he heard one of the thugs scream, "screw it gas him!" And that's when they threw a gas grenadeat his feet, as the gas filled the air Kadan started laughing and grabbing at his chest, it was the first time Kadan had felt real fear, and now he watched as the men surrounded him and prepared to kill him, Kadan closed his eyes only to hear the frightened screams of a bunch of thugs, there standing between him and the men was the king, Kadan's king. Kadan passed out after that only to reawaken under the waves in a bed with Aquaman at his bedside, "what you did was very brave...i have an offer for you...there is a special team being started... Would you serve as my voice in this group?" When Kadan agreed he was giving a pair of very special swords and trained to use the powers he was born with.

Sun Tzu while being a military genius would have also been a skilled warrior in his own sense, he's makes up more of the strategic and martial artist part of Leon's powers

So he just won't die from large bashing, does that mean he won't be fazed by other smaller stuff like being shot or set on fire?
Does he have access to other spirits with other kinds of magic other than Arthur?
As for the sword I have no problem with the magic light, though the instant death to demonic creatures is a no do to other characters being demonic like creatures though I don't mind it being useful against them. The scabbard part is a no though as that is basically saying anything that he can be shot full of holes, stabbed countless times, and nothing would happen. You can have your choice of either electric or ice, but not both, also keep in mind it wont be strong magic as it would undermine other peoples power so no thunder storms or blizzards shooting out of the sword
First things first a list.

Being shot would put him down and next to death, he might survive a wound that would kill a normal person but just barely. As for his inhuman stamina and slightly above human durability those come from a connection with Achilles, however much like Achilles his heel is his weak spot.
No he does not have any other weilders of magic. Arthur is the only one.
The blast of light can be held for about thirty seconds and will be effective against demonic and void characters, and blinding to others, the scabbard is weakened to giving him a magical barrier and not immortality, basically he would be wearing magical armor that would be invisible and would defend him for a short time against gunshots by replacing the damage with extreme physical pain, and that's a pistol shot. A higher caliber round would shatter the barriar and a sniper round would go straight through his barrier and then through him.
As for the magic coming from the sword I'll say its imbued with holy lightning, giving an electrical edge but no blasts or like sith lightning, the sword would have to touch you to use it.
