Bio: Adrian was born into a life of hardship, at the age of six his mother died of fever, his father a proud warrior was slain in a duel when the boy was only ten. A man by the name of Holt offered the boy a place to live if he was willing to work hard and help farm. Adrian worked hard, harder than any grown man and earned his right to live there, by the time the young man was around 17 he was known for getting into fights in the village for people disrespecting him or his friend Holt, he would often come home with bloody noses and black eyes for having stood up for his beliefs, Holt would simply clean the boy off and ask him the same question every time, "Tell me boy? Can you hold honor? Can you keep it safe from harm? Can you protect it like a child? If not...then how is it worth dying over?" And of course Adrian would get angry and try to argue that his honor was worth fighting for that people shouldn't disrespect Holt just cause he refuses to fight! But Holt would simply reiterate that honor wasn't worth dying over. By the time the boy was 20 he had begun to understand the truth behind what his adopted father had been teaching him, he rarely got into fights and when he did it was to defend someone who couldn't defend themselves. At age 23 Adrian had become a strong man and Holt had shown him well the art of the sword, it was during one of his regular trips to the village that he first laid eyes on the English, disrespectful and full of themselves Adrian did not like these men, a few weeks later a young boy came to his door covered in ash and begging for help from the only two swordsmen the village knew, Adrian and Holt ran to the village, only to find it engulfed in flames and its residents slaughtered, on a post near the center of town was a decree, that stated anyone who resisted the British military would be met with swift punishment. After that Adrian left home to seek out a man who was supposedly fighting back, fighting for freedom, a man by the name of William Wallace. Adrian would go on to fight alongside William in many battles, until the boy was around 26 and all the way up until William's capture, William had sent Adrian up high into the mountains to store away important British documents, it was in these mountains Adrian found himself hunted by something in the dark, something intelligent and skilled with the art of blending into shadow, Adrian narrowly avoided the creature for 3 days, before weakened by sleeplessness and weariness he fell asleep, Adrian awoke later to horrible cold and an inability to move his body, beside him was a beautiful woman pale as snow with hair red like the setting sun, the woman asked him simply, "Do you wish to live?" Adrian knew she was a witch and he knew not what she had done to him, but as far as he knew his brothers were still expecting his return, so with a heavy heart he agreed, and his immortal life began right there. The woman told him to meet her in those mountains after he was finished with his silly mortal ties and she promised to teach him the truth about life, Adrian received word of his friends capture upon his return. After this Adrian discovered something was very wrong with him, during a fight with a few British soldiers out on patrol in the dark, Adrian lost control of himself and drank deeply from the man sending shock and horror into what remained of his brothers, after that Adrian ran home his farm to find it emptyed and a note left upon his bed, "My son, I leave everything that mattered to me in life to you...fight for others...not honor." Adrian wept for days, and after his grief had passed he took up Holt's sword and made his way to where the woman was, "Woman!" She was fast and agile almost appearing out of thin air, "Have you come to learn of life?" Adrian met her with a sword to her throat, "You will help me free my friend...and in return I will do anything you so ask." The woman agreed and the two of them set off to rescue William Wallace from prison. As you know they were not successful, and William was slain, however the woman who Adrian now knew as Morgan, gave him his freedom for his loss, telling him to simply come to her when he was truly ready. Adrian lived a wild life and became something of a legend a ghost of an old warrior still holding his sword and protecting the innocent in the dead of night. After many many years Adrian traveled to the new world and set to make a life for himself there, as things changed and life went on he found he had a knack for knowing the right people and staying connected, he eventually joined the Mafia and became well known for being able to get information on anyone. No one in the mafia ever questioned why he didn't age or why he was such a skilled executioner, they simply sat back and let him do what he did best, It was during these years he learned about a man named Alistair and sought him out in hopes that the rumors were true...that he was just like him.
