I'm posting here so I can find this later. I plan to make a character.
Yeah it plays into his whole "Doesn't think things out well" thing he has going on for him.
Name: Ricky Dewitt
Nickname: A lot of people call him Ricky Dewitty
Gender: Male
Age: 25

Appearance: Ricky is average height, only slightly muscular with an otherwise normal build. He has curly black hair that falls to his ears, and a short black beard (more than stubble, but nothing to grab onto). He has grey-blue eyes and he's currently sporting a black eye.

Personal Item(s): Ratty white t-shit, dark blue hoodie, khaki pants, hiking boots. Ricky keeps a switchblade in his boot. He had a few flasks of whiskey on him in his pockets, but nothing else.

Bio: Ricky was born in New York City, to an addict single mother. He lived in poverty, going to school to get away from his mother and his home. Due to acting up and a lack of any punishment, he began to fail his classes and began to explore drugs at a young age, just like his mother. He started staying out overnight getting high and causing trouble. By the time he was 16 he had been arrested 5 times (vandalizing, destruction of public property, trespassing, petty theft) and wouldn't come home for whole weeks at a time. He began to sell drugs for a gang to support his habits. He'd also act as an enforcer on those who wouldn't pay what they owed to the gang (for whatever reason that may be). Ricky's drugs of choice are mainly heroin and marijuana. He Ricky always acts first and thinks later, which often gets him into trouble. Recently someone owed money to the gang so Ricky decided to 'send him a message' by burning his house down. What he didn't know, however, was that the man was a courier for a drug lord and had over five million dollars worth of drugs in the house. Ricky was told that he had ten days to pay off the money or he would be killed. Ricky knew he couldn't afford it and also wouldn't let them win, so he decided to kill himself.

Purpose of Flight: Ricky has lived in the area for a while but never actually saw Yosemite. So he thought he'd take a tour. Also, he planned to kill himself by jumping off the helicopter over the park.

Yosemite Summary: It's about the size of RI and has thousands of lakes and ponds. Granite rocks make up the structures you see in Yosemite. Most visitors stay in the park, which is only 1% of the area. 95% of Yosemite is wilderness. There are about 400 species of animals living in Yosemite, mostly because of the diverse topography. Yosemite Falls is the tallest in North America. There are bears, bobcats and foxes in Yosemite. There are many glaciers and valleys. Its surrounded by wilderness areas.

Summary of the Rules: This roleplay is focused around realistic survival, not romance or fighting off 200 wolves after they've bitten off your legs.
I'm also interested.
Name: Atticus Rhys Treharne (Goes by Rhys, pronounced Reese)
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: Rhys is tall and just slightly above average weight. He has blonde hair and a red face. He usually wears something simple and bland, be it a t-shirt or hoodie.
Personality:

*Curious: Rhys will use his powers to know everything there is to know about the academy. He also can be described as a bit of a snoop.

*Cowardly: Rhys will go to great effort to not make any waves in the academy unless he is forced to. He's scared of what they've already done to his life. He is afraid of death, which he sees as the reasonable next step for what the academy will do to them.

*Ambitious: At the same time, Rhys constantly dreams of getting out. He uses his power to look for weaknesses in the academy and fantasizes about escaping in the night and starting a new life.

*Kind: Rhys values being kind to everyone, and not taking anyone at face value.

*Relaxed: Rhys doesn't get upset easily, and he's almost never mad.

Power: Astral Projection: Rhys can enter a meditative state where his spirit enters into the physical plane free of his body. Invisible to everyone, Rhys can go anywhere within around a mile or two of his body. His spirit has a very limited ability to interact with the world around him when in the Astral Plane: he can pick up and move objects and whisper in people's ears.

When Rhys gets stronger, he will find that his abilities will grow more powerful. He will be able to go anywhere on the Astral Plane, not restricted to his body. When he is powerful enough, Rhys will be able to enter into other bodies and possess them.
Hi, I'm interested in starting my first 1x1 roleplay. I've been in and hosted a bunch of others for a while now, but I'm curious about writing alongside someone instead of following someone else's plot or making one up for others to follow. I don't have any rules or anything, just know that I roleplay to practice my writing skills, so I do it for character development and plot. I don't roleplay just for the sake of having cybersex. Romance isn't out of the question but I definitely think that it should be treated like it is in any other book or movie - a side activity that develops rather than one that is forced.

That being said, I'm really up for anything, be it fantasy, futuristic, or modern. I had an idea for an Elder Scrolls RP (Kind of a big fan) focusing around the Knahaten Plague that almost wiped out all life in Tamriel. The idea is that this plague is decimating Nirn and threatens to wipe out all life completely, and somehow it must be cured. Cyrodiil's ruling Mede dynasty is left in the hands of a teenage girl, but I flip the expected out of a teenage Queen trope and make her life rather horrible. Everyone is fighting for power to be her regent and she is sickly and weak so she's isolated herself in fear of getting the plague. Meanwhile the Thalmor are up to no good as usual...

So if you're interested in that premise or you have your own, feel free to PM me! Other fanfic ideas I'd like to explore is A Song of Ice and Fire or the Dragon age universe. And of course original is always great, I have a few ideas myself.
Tentative interest. I kind of would prefer playing a pokemon, born a pokemon though. I'm thinking Abra, but that will probably change.
Maybe it's a small private company taking people out to view Yosemite in a helicopter? So if that was their only helicopter and the guy who ran the business was also the pilot then nobody would know where they crashed.
Well I was just thinking that it wouldn't make much sense to be stuck in Yosemite in the 2000's. It seems like help would be there very fast, and people would have their phones to call for help and pinpoint their location. So an earlier time period would eliminate that.
What timeframe are we talking here? It might be interesting (and more realistic) to do a 1950-60's setting.
