Current It's for everyone's own good that I've been away, because I've been a nightmare to deal with the past two months.

Sometimes I remember my school is frequented by pretentious, self-important fuckwits. And then I get sad.

Bio

Not actually a mom nor German

Not a memelord. More like a memebaroness.

Pretentious theater student, especially if you let me get myself started.

The fireplace idea is cute, but thinking about it further, Elizabeth might opt not. Fire hurts them, so she might think it's not a good idea for a new, very unstable vampire to be right near it.
Remembering what I wrote for Elizabeth's bio way back when, I think it takes several hours. She's definitely going to be conscious of restraining him.
Great! I look forward to it. I hope my response was pretty good, considering how much more time it took than usual. Hope it was worth the wait, I mean
I don't think she'd leave his side. The risk would be too great. She wouldn't want to risk him coming to without her being around to soothe him, comfort him, explain, restrain him if need be. She probably moved him to the bed or near a fireplace. I almost want her to have some clean blood waiting for him, but she wouldn't risk leaving him alone for that long, for everyone's wellbeing.
Die more than he technically already has, if you think about it.

He shouldn't be. Neither of them should be. But that's what makes this fun. There's no interesting or engaging plot without conflict, struggle, suffering.
That'd be really awful indeed. Then he'll be persecuted all the same as Elizabeth. Not like he'll be able, in his state, to do it all that discreetly. What a way for this unwelcome new chapter in his life to unfold.
Not at all, but he's still gotta turn them against her real quick without letting them know he's also now a vampire. He's gotta move real quick if he wants to get away from them before the bloodlust starts getting the better of him and he gets the villagers tipped off to his identity.
And you know me, totally okay with that. Totally okay with the maximizing of pain.

If one's naturally disciplined enough, maybe up to a few days. Because it has to be long enough for him to get help from the villagers, turn them against Elizabeth, without them realizing he's a vampire and turning on him.
Hm. That's a little tricky, because the poison is in the neck, and if it's in the jugular, the jugular brings blood back to the heart, so really the heart would be the first stop for the poison, then from there it gets distributed everywhere else. But seeing how vampire transformations aren't instantaneous, it's probably a slow death for the heart. It manages to distribute the poison for at least several moments before it dies, and considering the speed of the heart, a few moments is all it should take for full distribution. I've also known of depictions of transformations where the heart beats faster at first before dying.

perhaps I'm overthinking this. They're vampires. What am I bringing so much science in for.

That's up to you, how long that thought process takes.
Shock sounds like a good idea. It'll be a good way to allow for the pain without him being fully conscious.
What do you mean about the last part being the heart? You'd think that'd be one of the first, because of the poison going into the bloodstream and rapidly to the heart.

'Calm down' quote unquote. Nothing is going to be calm.
That's a tough question. Because you shouldn't really feel anything when you're passed out, right? But I can't really see him not feeling it. I'm thinking he does get healed as it goes, the changing process probably annihilates everything that's not supposed to be there.
I'm thinking the bloodlust is immediate. But there's so much else going on - the pain, the shock and confusion - that he might not act on it immediately.
