What's fission?

Breaking apart atoms to create energy.
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>

Huh.

Yup! Quick note, fission is probably one of the hardest things to do effectively. Because of the way the laws work, you have to transform every single atom individually, and you need a lot of atoms to make any real power, just because atoms are so, so tiny. So it's one of those big milestones in your training.
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>

But... how do we do that?

Step one: know what something is right now, precisely Realmatically. That’s an easy part. Step two: know what you want it to be, precisely Realmatically. That’s the hardest part. Step three: will it to be that way. That part’s the easiest, once you believe it can happen.
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>

When are we going to learn how to do stuff like that?

Well, first, you have to learn Realmatic transformations themselves. To do that, you have to get a feel for your Realmatic capabilities—what you have the ability to transform, and how it works. That's why we're doing this.
-Aron- How well do we need to know our Indigo capabilities?
-Think of it this way: you can do nuclear fission with any atom, at any time. You need to be very delicate.
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>

That's pretty cool!

It is! The guys who made it are geniuses. It's pretty hard to program objects with Realmatic transformations, but they do it anyway.
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>

Okay! *Watches* Hmm... It looks weird but I don't know how it works.

First, you wanna notice that the Gyroball itself is causing the transformation. It's detecting the mass inside and changing gravity so that it is parallel to the ground, pulling only the Gyroball, exactly hard enough to cause centripetal acceleration. While we're affected by normal gravity, the Gyroball spins around the centre of the mountain.
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>

Thanks! Yeah, let's use the gyro thing.

Okay! *Leads us to the gyro, skipping half the time and occasionally waving to people I know; we get in line and enter the Gyro* Okay, as it goes, watch carefully to see how gravity is affecting the Gyroball. Can you figure out the transformation?
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>

*Grins*

You're gonna be a natural at this. Aron, did you get the same thing?
-Aron- Yeah. I'm already learning to identify these fields; this is really awesome. Let's go see it!
-Yeah! It's over on the next sector. Do you guys want to take the Gyro to it? It's a long walk otherwise.
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>

It's more... chaotic? It's like everything is bottle-necked there.

Pretty good! The current has a habit of trying to get away from us when not contained by the mountain. We're constantly improving the efficiency of our transformations to direct the current with minimal interference while also keeping it from zipping around.

*Looks around* Hmm... *Points toward it* There?

What makes you think there?
