There are two primary branches in Restoration with the inclusion in one particularly minute set of spells. Thee branches focus on the use of invigorating and "Holy" Magic to be either a well-spring of life, or a mighty hand to cast out the undead. Generally when you think of Restoration the vast majority will jump to: "Heal me! Oh grand caster of the swirly gold magic!" But for those who also delve into the whole of Restoration can tell you the grandeur of having the Undead dealing part of Restoration. There are spells to cause the undead to flee, to be prevented from entering a specific area, and even light on fire with a magical flame that injures only the Undead. These spells are crucial, especially for those Restoration wielders who venture into the depths of the Ancient Nordic Cities and Burial Chambers. *The exception to the branches are the small series of Paralysis spells within the Restoration branch, the magic is the use of the magical channels that enter the body(similarly to Healing), but rather then healing they tighten around and restrict the use of the body to paralyze the target. Edit: No offense, but no ill-equip, ill-combat trained Pre-teen would venture out to combat Dragons, and live to tell of his tale, nor would he leave the first fight alive for that matter less he run and hide behind the rocks. I do apologize, but the honesty is not cruel nor rude, rather just logical and realistic.
Hmm, do you plan Restoration in general, or one of the two specific branches for Restoration?
I don't, I avidly enjoy Valerion. I do so get tired of people making Billy Badass the Ultimate Survivor, or James Jones Super Killer Extradonaire! All of which have no emotion and the rp capacity to kill everything in a ten mile radius with the same mono-tone grunting as Duke Nukem. XD
Indeed, and take your time. We aren't rushing you or anything, my only request is please inform us when you have had some sleep.
No rper is "specially" needed for these parties, it is not a forced diversity, a preferred and open diversity. The characters in this Rp all have general skills, but to each is their own unique design even with some overlapping areas there are no two exactly alike. The parties aren't required to have a specific type of member, and we have not forced any Rper to make a specific class, merely let them do as they wish(within the guidelines of obvious Rp rules) and they have developed the menagerie of astounding characters without party guidelines.
I'm only a Co-Gm, and I am going to be honest, as well as give you my opinion and vote on everything. Not being accustomed to "Low-Power Rps" is a slight disadvantage in my eyes, as being accustomed to more "Op-Border Rps" can give writers a heightened sense of what they are entitled to with their RPCs. However, the Jack-of-All-Trades is possible, but not preferred. We would ultimately(as I have been explained so far) would like to avoid that general sense of characters and have more defined parties in which multiple people are participating and each one has their unique or relatively unique(in the sense that some have similar skills) so that no one can be the cookie-cutter class, or be the one person to always have a item/power/skill/weapon/strategy to get them out of EVERY situation. It is less dynamic to have an RPC who can do that, rather then have actual scenarios in which a character may be gridlocked without an immediate answer or way out of the situation. Ultimately, reading will also be all Gm's advice for knowing what is going on in the Rp, we aren't terribly far but in the end some developments and character interactions have went on and there are crucial parts in the RP that it is only gotten from reading. Remember, this is only my opinion, vote, and understanding. The other Co-Gm and our Lovely Gm may say otherwise however.
Yes, I am here, do you need something LB?
I would never give up on something I love, nor would I give up on the good friends I have made in it. :P
I decide to cut a part from Rawlith's post, and I decided to just detach Varnadiir's for the moment while I finished it on word-pad. I am tired of holding you all up, so I wanted to pump it while I had the chance this morning.
“Nice job on stopping an early execution.”
Rawlith heard the voice a speak to him, but it almost seemed unreal. Rawlith had actually saved a woman, one who was not only a stranger, but that had also attacked. This made him think, and he kept cycling his mind through the reel of memory before he came to same conclusion a few times. He had saved her because his instincts led him too, for the simplest of reasons. He could tell her archery was beyond merely wounding a Saxhleel should she choose, and he knew killing at least a member or two before attempting to flee would have been more blood-thirsty than a pot-shot and a cold spell. She was far more skilled then she would probably give credit and far more skilled for anyone of the group to let her walk free, the one good note is that he and Leo seemed to agree on the fact that she could walk free among the camp, but only due to there were far too many and ready people now watching her for any viable option of danger to arise in her favor unless an outside force caused such to happen. His mind rattled for what seemed like an eternity of how he was acting, how the group was affecting him, and how he had seemingly done so much out of tribal character. It seemed as if his time among those not within the tribe had worn off on his communal nature. However he slowly slipped back into the moment and responded to the lady with only a minor hesitation. "It is what, This One, felt was right to do. She did not aim to kill, merely to evade with the success of slowing our resident scholar. This one is would like to think his mind told him everything, but truly his instincts did the work." He stated to her with a nod as he prodded the ribs and continued to slowly turn them while watching their meat brown, sizzle lowly, and pop lightly as the rub caramelized over the top. It began to fill the camp and over-whelmed Rawlith's own powerful olfactory senses, the combination of his Khajiit senses and the extremely heightened Lycanthropic senses made many things much more powerful. This was an obvious advantage for many reasons, especially among the group. The smell of death and undead among those who were not of the truly living, and the scent of something Mer but not of this time. His nose was telling him it was finally time, to eat.
“They smell amazing, Rawlith.”
Rawlith heard Roze speak up once more to him, seeming elated by the smell of the Elk Ribs as they finally came to the finish point on the cooking spit. He slowly untied the binding of the ribs and lowered them with a few utencils onto a large wooden platter with a low, fine, curve towards the center where dripping juices and sauce gathered. The massive plate was a perfect sitting piece for the ribs and a wonderful thing to use to gather the group as a whole once more. Rawlith stood slowly and took only two of the smaller ribs for himself while speaking. "The ribs are ready, for those willing to eat and those who want to fight off the hunger. This One has made Elk Ribs out of Valerion's kill, come and eat." He stated aloud to the whole, while residing off behind the fire and opposite the majority with a soft word to Roze. "Whenever you would like to talk to This One about magic, and lessons, just come find him." He stated with almost a whisper to her and happily sat with an eye about the group. --- VARNADIIR WIP
