everything around her based on sheer impulsiveness. Charlotte's philosophy is why walk around it, when you can break through it? Not only does she employ this literally, but figuratively as well when facing obstacles. She
never backs down and believes through her own determination she can take on anything the world throws at her. Despite her recklessness she loves the guild and everyone in it, but her true love has always been the sea.
She spent most of her life as a pirate, taking what she could and giving nothing back. Her antics became known across Fiore and she is very particular about her popularity. She prefers for everyone to call her Captain
Charlotte and demands respect as the mighty king of the pirates. She shouts a lot and gets a kick out of riling people up by teasing and tormenting them. By nature she is very immature, constantly getting into fights where she
can cause the most damage possible in the shortest amount of time. Simply put, Charlotte just likes to watch stuff blow up. However there is much more to her than that. She enjoys drinking and dancing with her friends and

Biography : The Loose CannonCharlotte had always considered her existence to be bleak and miserable. Her parents obviously thought the same way, abandoning her on the doorstep of an orpganage in Magnolia that was highly praised for it's kind and
welcoming staff and well behaved children. Charlotte grew up seeing through this lie. The women who ran the orphanage treated the children like slaves, and they were only so well behaved because they were all too afraid
to talk back against their caretakers out of fear of being locked in a small cupboard for the night. This all changed once Charlotte began to grow up. Reckless and impulsive, Charlotte made every effort to disrupt the daily
lives of her caretakers. She broke expensive vases, spiked their dinner, and was generally a nuisance to their existence. She was miserable, but at leasts he could enjoy herself like this. The other children looked up to her as
their defender. Eventually her caretakers had had enough, throwing her out onto the streets to fend for herself. She didn't mind, but she was more concerned about the other children. She began to plan their breakout,
working as a street performer to pay for the tools she needed. When she was finished, she had rigged an explosive fireworks trap that she was going to set loose inside of the orphanage to scare off the caretakers. Her plan
worked perfectly and as she was running from the destroyed orphanage, the result of her overdoing the fireworks and explosions, she thought she had committed a great deed. That was until the wizards from Fairy Tail
caught her in the act of running and brought her and the other children back to the guild hall.
Naturally she received a large scolding from the owners of the orphanage, who were demanding she should be punished. The Guildmaster was about to hand her other, when his son, a young boy her age named Pollux
suggested adopting the girl and making her a wizard of Fairy Tail. Surprised that he would stand up for her, Charlotte was confused to say the least. He had never met her, yet this young boy was willing to welcome her into
his family so easily. After considering it, and despite the outcry from the orphanage owners, the Master decided that he would allow Charlotte to join their Guild. Charlotte's outgoing nature quickly made her a favorite to
most of Fairy Tail. The girl was strong willed and hard headed and caused more damage to the guild than any other guild member in history. She was constantly scolded by Pollux, to which she responded to by beating him
up. Her other close friends included Meredith and Zephyr. She didn't see Zephyr as often, but he seemed to really understand what she was all about. Meredith on the other hand was more of a stick in the mud than Pollux.
The three of them practically grew up together, going on adventures and getting into all kinds of mischief.
Eventually they all grew up into powerful young wizards. Meredith was known for her beauty all across the land, as well as her mastery of the blade at such a young age. Zephyr became a determined young man who only
sought to better himself after the tragic accident that took his brothers life, and Pollux was the first of the four to become an S Class Wizard. Charlotte could no longer win spars with him anymore as his power sky rocketed.
The four of them were Fairy Tail's strongest team, with Charlotte as their self appointed leader. Meredith often argued that Pollux should be their leader, but he was just happy to give Charlotte what she wanted. The two of
them had formed a close bond that no one else had ever shared with Pollux before in their life. Everything was great, but time has a way of making people grow apart.
The parting of a familyYears passed, and eventually Charlotte and Meredith had reached S Rank just as Pollux was elected as the new Guild Master after his father went insane and tried to turn on the guild. Pollux, Charlotte, Meredith and Zephyr
had all worked together to stop him; and had succeeded. Taking down his own father was a very daunting experience for Pollux, and everyone felt it was best to leave him alone. Zephyr left the guild officially to pursue a
career on the magic council, and Pollux spent so much time locked away in his study that Meredith was Charlotte's only company. Meredith had always dislike that Pollux fancied Charlotte more, and was in turn bitter
towards her since they were young. She made for poor company. Charlotte eventually ended up forcing herself into Pollux's study. At first she said nothing and just watched as he worked. Eventually he felt the need to start
keeping her occupied by giving her some of his guildmaster work to fill out. This eventually turned into idle chatter, and then back to their old friendly banters. Charlotte had played an invaluable part in Pollux's recovery and
helped him find his own self once more. The two started to see each other as more than friends, and eventually Pollux asked Charlotte to marry him. She said yes, but Meredith was emotionally destroyed that the person she
loved wanted to be with someone else. A large argument started between the three of them, and many things were said that were to be regretted later. The impact of the argument; Charlotte refusing Pollux's offer to marry
him and Meredith abandoning the guild completely; never to return. Even Charlotte left the guild, looking for a way to get away from it all.
She found solace in the port town of Hargeon, where she spent her days performing for money at local bars and brawling with men who tried to flirt with her. Eventually a captain of a well known pirate ship asked her if she
wanted to join his crew and set sail across the seas. She agreed, thinking it would be a nice break from all the memories she left behind on land. Her time spent on the ship was amazing; even despite losing a leg in a battle
against a rival pirates crew. The sea life was truly the only life for her, and the crew she lived with made her completely forget about Fairy Tail and Pollux; who she held a great resentment for. The crew eventually
encountered an island where they believed to be a great treasure, but was also said to be cursed by a powerful demon. Too frightened to step foot, Charlotte volunteered; claiming she could handle any demon. Her handy
pistol at her side, she set off into the island where she encountered a large, run down ruin that lead deep underground into a magnificent room filled with crystals and gems of all sorts. She went to go and pilfer the spoils of
the cavern when a voice called out to her.
"So, it seems you are stealing from me in this instance..."
The man who showed her the universe"Or perhaps, this is the instance where you try to steal from me, but immedietly kill me as soon as you hear my voice." he waited a while, as if expecting her to do as he just said. When she didn't, he smiled. "So it's not that
one. One can never really tell. So many paths to take. So many destinations." He stepped closer to her, but she immedietly held her pistol up in defense; warning him about taking another step.
"Yes, I do believe this was also another possibility. The instance where I frighten you." His words were confusing, and he seemed as though he was talking to himself more than to her. "I've watched this moment unfold a
million times in a million different ways; but there is always one constant. The pain and sorrow in your heart. It's always there; in every path. Why?" He continued to walk closer to her, no longer fearing the gun pointed at
him. She eventually steadied herself. There was something about him that welcomed her; as if coming to this island was no coincidence. The man sat down, and offered to listen to her. Despite them just meeting, Charlotte
poured her heart out into him; telling him every detail of the last few years. How she had come from nothing but been given a home. How she and her best friends were forced to take down the man who they called father
and the scars that left on their hearts. How she had fell in love with Pollux and how Meredith couldn't accept that. How their argument had destroyed the best thing that had every happened to her.
"There are far too many options available for us to simply choose the one we desire. Even the slightest action can drastically change the course our future. I know because I have watched the timelines my entire life, seeing
them entangle themselves and cross over into new areas every moment. The threads of time are fragile and easily jumbled, and perhaps it is for this reason that you feel so much pain. You are simply confused; unable to make
sense of your past." He held out his hand to her, "Come with me. I will show you your past, present, and future. I will ease your pain and show you the universe and just how important you are to it." Charlotte took his hand
and immedietly passed out. When she awoke, she found herself standing in the midst of the cosmos; surrounded by shimmering stars and and massive galaxies. When the man appeared, he seemed to be surrounded by a
massive spideweb, they spread out infinitely in all directions and encompassed everything in its path. When she ran her hand through the threads, she felt nothing.
"Magnificent, is it not?" He spoke, walking over to her and clutching the thread she could not grab in between his fingers. "Every thread is a different path for every person that is, ever was, or will ever be. Notice how they intertwine and how some are woven with others. Notice how some end short, while others go on forever." He walked over to a seemingly random spot, plucking a thread from the vast ocean of timelines.
"This is where you are now. There is much suffering within you. I will help ease your pain." he began to unravel the threads, searching through them with intense concentration. He plucked threads, cut them, re-attached them to different spots and unravel the large clump of intertwined threads that surrounded hers. She watched her life unravel before her very eyes, every answer she could have ever wanted to her past unlocked. She was free. Her mind cleared and she finally realised what she truly wanted; to be together with Pollux. However, when she returned to the real world things were very different.

A new world.[I]
Charlotte left the cave and tried to find her crew, only to find the ship in ruins with human bones scattered all around it. Something had attacked and destroyed the ship. Just before she could set out to hunt whatever did this to her crewmates, the man from before appeared and stopped her.
"The only murderer of your friends was time, my dear." He could see the confusion on her face, so he explained. "Staying in that other realm has altered your perception of time. While it only seemed we were in there for a moment; many decades have passed in this world. Your crew died a long time ago." She was outraged, claiming that he had tricked her; to which he responded with his own confusion. He could not physically see the problem with what he had just done to her, and it confused him. Obviously he did not feel the effects of time like she did, so he did not realise how much of a big deal this was for her. She begged him to send her back, but he told her that it was not within his power to do that. He did however, grant her the power to use a magic lost to the ages; the arc of the embodiment. He considered it to be a suitable apology for unintentionally trapping her in stasis while he unravelled her past for her. With her newfound power, she created a ship and set sail by herself back to the mainlands.
Everything was different when she returned, and the first place she visited was Fairy Tail. Pollux couldn't believe his eyes when he saw her. The world had thought she had died. Charlotte was happy to see Pollux, even despite not recognising him as an old man. Unfortunately despite having her past being cleared and made sense of, spending all that time in the other realm with the man had meant that she was gone for a very long time. While she now knew that her love for Pollux was true, it was evident that he had long since moved on. He had married a beautiful woman who had children that had children of their own. It was odd being the same age as her best friends grand daughter. Pollux had already lived his life, as had her other friends. After she caught up with Pollux she went back to being a pirate, travelling with her own crew as Captain Charlotte. Her power and lost magic became so well known that she was named a wizard saint. She returned to the island where the man once was, but he was nowhere to be found. Now she travels the world, trying to find him to ask the one question that had been picking at her brain since they met; who was he?
Other : Charlotte can drink forever and never get drunk; one of her unique talents. She's not very up to speed with new technology or magics and is quite frightened by technology actually.
