Liang had blushed ever so slightly as she had been handed the ice statue of a Lion-Turtle. Her friends began immediately teasing her about it - making her blush even more. After a moment of listening to the conversation the former firebender coughed politely and bowed her head meekly at Li. "I... I'm Liang. I-if you didn't catch my name before." She straightened up and managed to gather her composure as she pointed at her friends with her thumb "The big lug of an earthbender over there is Gen and the prettyboy is Shin."
Gen did his best to seem as much uninterested in the situation as he possibly could - it was one of the ways he seemed to entertain himself. "That plan of yours doesn't sound very... avatar-ish..." He smiled very faintly and shrugged. "It's still a good plan though." He hastily added as he got a nasty look from Liang.
Shin shook his head a bit apologetically "I can't depart on a silly adventure - I got things to take care of at the north and..." He smiled his most charming smile. "...I'm just too rusty to fight after 8 years of resting on my laurels." He got a bit disappointed look from Liang and just shook his head "Sorry, captain. I got a kid to look after back home." He ruffled Liang's hair and gave her a little hug.
Liang pouted quite adorably as she was being hugged and shook her head. "Well even if the two of you aren't going to help I sure as heck am!" The black haired woman made a slightly goofy pose. "I don't care if I can't firebend anymore! I've leared a thing or two about chi-blocking and I sure as heck ain't going to let someone wreak havoc on this place!" She gave the two avatars and the rest of the people a bit sheepish little smile, adjusted the prosthetic to behind her back and meekly added "Umh... If you folks accept my help that is. Umh... because... umh... I'd like to help."
Gen sighed and stepped to stand next to Liang. "Damnit... I'm not going to leave the city, but as long as we are here... I don't see any problem in giving you a hand." He glanced over his shoulder at Shin - who's charming little smile had been replaced by a slightly annoyed grimace. After a little staredown the waterbender sighed, lifted his hands to the air and smirked "Fine, fine, twist my hand will you..." He stepped to stand on the other side of Liang. "As long as the trouble stays in Republic City I'll lend you a hand - besides I can't really let Liang get in to trouble, now can I?"
Liang wiped something from the side of her eye and smiled. "Oh, Y-you guys..." She again gathered her composure and gave both of her friends a quick little slap at the back of their heads "Don't make me worry like that, damnit!"
