Current Just because you can have 36 attacks per turn that threaten a crit on a roll of 14+ doesn't mean it's worth doing.

Hokuto smirked at the goings on and graciously accepted the bag of candy Lana had offered. Candy, promise of melon bread AND super tasty casserole actually made Hokuto forget her tough gal act. The brown hairrd girl gave Miyuki a little glance - obviously the feigned innocence wasn't believable.

"You guys are the best!" Hokuto exclaimed and made a funny little pose.
Hokuto blinked her eyes as the wind shuriken flew past her head. The gust of wind made her hair flow and eyes water slightly. The brown haired girl wiped her eyes and pouted. "Jeezh... First Hakai attacks me and now even you, Seika." She was about to say something more, but Lana's sudden appearance kinda broke Hokuto's concentration. "Lana! Everybody's being mean today and I'm huuuungry."
They could be sooooo cute together!
Hokuto let out a little amazed yelp as she heard Hakai's warning. She hastily leaped to the side, but would still have been seriously hurt if the light shuriken would have been a proper combat technique. Congratulating herself on the fact that she had managed to keep her balance the now fuming brown haired girl turned her attention fully on Hakai. "What's the big idea here? You tryin' to gimme a heart attack or somethin'?" Even though her temper had flared again she at least had enough self control to not go on the offensive. "If you wanna do some sparrin' we are gonna do it AFTER I've gotten some grub, you... you.... light flinging... mean... you!" Hokuto pointed the index and mid fingers of her left hand towards the boy with the green-ish... blonde-ish... whatever hair color it was, she didn't care since she wasn't that good with colors anyways.
There was that certain feeling in the air - the feeling that you had not quite given everything you had to gain victory. The sickly pale man spat to the ground and stared to the field that had not too many moments ago been a proper battlefield. The Pale Strategist, Lord Commander Caramir Laethros sat on the back of a large black stallion, wearing his black armor and looking rather sour and exhausted. "Look at this. We could not cross the bridge and the whole battle was a complete waste of resources." He snarled to no one in particular and shook his head. In his opinion the battle could have turned in their favor had they postponed the cavalry charges for just a little more, but still as the leading strategist on the field he took full responsibility of the outcome.

Caramir removed his helmet and closed his eyes. His head was pounding - it had been a tiring day. "Send a rider with a flag of parley to the enemy lines. If I know anything about anything there is a member of the Ashford's there whom I'd like to have a word with. Tell the rider to give a message to him." After a while a rider had been chosen to take the message to Galard.

The message was quite short and simple.

Caramir Laethros would have a word with you. Please, give the messenger your answer and if you wish to attend a meeting feel free to bring a whole army at your back if you so see fit. You choose the place. The Lord Commander will wait till sunset for your answer.

With a white flag and the roll of parchment that held the message the rider began galloping towards the enemy rear guard.
Yamato Household

"What do you mean you had a rough night!?" The exclamation could probably be heard at least two blocks down. The two, nearly identical young men winced in discomfort as the girl in front of them paced back and forth. The twins braced themselves for another annoyed tirade from their younger sister, but surprisingly Hokuto just shook her head. "Seriously! It can't have been a very rough night since you don't have any pretty girls with you! I think what you are trying to describe is a really bummer night!"

Toki coughed as he held his head and adjusted his long dark hair. "Ok, ok, sis... No need to shout... we had a few drinks and..." Takemaru rolled his eyes and interjected "Well... a lot of drinks, really, but still..." The twins glanced at each other and sighed as Hokuto gave them a nasty glare. "You got back three hours ago! Oh well, none of my business" She shook her head and placed two large bowls of scrambled eggs in front of her brothers. "You'd better have eaten all of these before I get back or there will be consequences!" Her parting words still echoed in their heads as Toki and Takemaru began eating. "No training today?" Takemaru inquired to which Toki nodded. "No training today."

Moments later near the Ushiba household

Hokuto silently admitted to herself that her brothers occasional drinking didn't bother her that much - it was more the smell of alcohol that annoyed her to the point that she wouldn't be spending any more time than what was absolutely necessary at home. Instead she just did what she usually did - visit a friend's house for a meal. By her estimate the Ushiba would be having a meal at this time and their residence was a close enough distance away. When she arrived to the premises the brown haired girl tossed a small stone to Seika's window - mostly out of an old habit. Amazingly she didn't break the window... this time at least. "Seika! Ya guys got any food there? My bro's been drinkin' again and the smell is killin' me, damn it! Oi! Seeeeeeeeika!"
Aaaand I have posted ^^
Yamato Clan, Thunder from the West.

It is said that before Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha founded Konoha there lived a man who was known as the God of Thunder. He lived in the land that is nowadays known as the Land of Lightning. Not much is known of the man, even among the members of the Yamato clan, except that he was the first user of the Thunder Style. It is said that the God of Thunder once fought Hashirama Senju to a standstill when the latter was in his prime. After the battle there was no God of Thunder, instead a man - Akio Yamato - now wore the tattered clothes of the God of Thunder while he swore fealty and friendship to the God of Shinobi and Konohakagure.

Akio soon married a young woman called Emiko. Over the years they accumulated 6 daughters and 4 sons. Their time eventually came to an end - the man who had been known as the God of Thunder died in his sleep, surrounded by friends and family. His wife passed away a year later from a sickness. The foundation of the Yamato clan was however set.

Generations passed, during the 4th Ninja World War the head of the clan was Isamu Yamato. He lived through the war and unsurprisingly got married. Eventually the twins Takemaru and Toki were born and five years later a daughter - Hokuto. One day Isamu and his wife never returned from a mission and the Yamato twins were left to look after their sister who had been 4 years old at that time. As far as family units go the remaining three of the Yamato clan have managed to became adults without killing each other, so that counts for something.
Cyriana flashed a little smile to Calvin as he returned with the catch of the day. "That was a splendid shot." She held her head and rolled her eye before turning her attention to Straw. "Well, we have a passable campsite right here and I think each and every one of us could use some rest." With those words the pale elf began preparing the campfire.

It did not take her long to get the campfire set up and lit. The dark haired woman smiled faintly as she sat as close as possible to the campfire without endangering her clothes. With slight reluctance Cyriana again removed the bandages from her face and closed her right eye. The orb sprang to life and this time it was actually moving. I am touched, little frail thing... It's not often you let me see the world like this. The sardonic little whispers were much louder than usually and the elf instinctively glanced around to see if the others had heard it. Oh fear not my fair skinned little friend... They cannot hear me just yet - I have no need for them to hear the voice of Cyrandion the Ever Living. Cyriana rolled the weird eye and shook her head as she concentrated on the area surrounding their campsite - she was obviously cautious enough to check the area for possible treats. "Be silent already..." The dark haired elf mumbled barely audiably.
Appearance: Hokuto has shoulder length brown hair that she keeps on a neat ponytail - though she allows few locks of hair to dangle over her left eye. Her pale blue eyes are very expressive and warm. She stands roughly an inch above 5 feet. Hokuto has quite thin shoulders, but it's obvious that she has spent a lot of time keeping herself in a good physical condition.

She usually wears quite bright colors - usually blue, red - or a mix of the two. Hokuto's usual clothes consist of a knee lenght skirt, shorts, a long sleeved shirt and ofcourse a Konoha vest. She usually wears her headband tied loosely around her neck.

Thunder Release - as it's name to some degree suggests - more or less utilizes the sound of thunder to distract, disorient and damage opponents. Takemaru & Toki Yamato (twin older brothers)

Personality: Rather hotheaded, doesn't take insults - or compliments for that matter - very well, acts much tougher than what she actually is, possesses a very short attention span.
