Sleep was invented by the communists to reduce the time we spend active.

That awkward moment when you glimpse a dog stylist advertisement and before you realize what it is, you assume it's an ad to raise awareness about animal cruelty.

A friend introduced me to a site called nanowrimo.org Technically a novel-writing site but they seem to have useful stuff for writing in general in the forums.
I think Mardox is making a imperialist civ too. That may split the bill.
Kazzlehorf is not imperialist since why would it want to conquer animals it can just get from simple trade of cheap drones, Zippa drinks and canned Kazzlehorf ("Blue Meat" as outsiders call it) as pets?
Imperialist to some extent. Now that I've mentioned the previous traits, it should be noted the Mabronnans are loyal to a fault.
So, I wanted my species to be VERY advanced technologically, but have almost nothing designed for warfare. Given that, and given that I'm planning on having a population of roughly 10,000 remaining, what sort of limits would you suggest for me technologically?

I know!
I hate the X'Cor now!
All races, the Coalition, the Federation, the Xim, the MONARCH, and the Kazzlehorf will all BAND TOGETHER TO SAVE THE NAMILEE @Shorticus
Even the Mabronnans might get in on that for some Namilee tech.

"DIE FOR YOUR ARROGANCE, INSECT SCUM!" -Bralo Denestrialus, Mabronnan Explorer and Berserker
Population and Demographics: The Mabronnans currently control 60 solar systems filled to the maximum in each habitable planet for a grand result of 360 billion citizens. As overpopulation becomes a greater issue, the Mabronnans look outwards to expansion with thoughts of living room. Demographics are as following: Mabronnans: 75% Honorary Mabronnans: 15% Various sapient aliens that have been found worthy of being considered citizens rather than meals. This need not be through military means and includes but is not limited to artists, thinkers and hard-working ambitious folk. Assorted Meat: 10% Various sapient aliens that did not pass the test. Defeated enemy soldiers, criminals, slackers, etc.
Species: The Mabronnans are large, bipedal carnivorous reptiles. On average, a Mabronnan is around seven feet tall with the males being slightly larger than the females. Both genders have a line of sharp spines down their backs the way a stegosaurus has plates. The females have a colorful crest on their head and the spines on their backs tend to be longer and sharper. The Mabronnans possess scales that are quite durable yet seemingly soft to the touch. These scales are so durable that they can stand up to gunfire for a little while with it taking an average of three shots to slay a Mabronnan. The average scale color is a dark green that blends in with the jungles of their homeworld though other colors occasionally appear. Their eyes are catlike with a wide variety of colors, excluding red.
A notable trait about the Mabronnans is that some members of the race produce abnormal amounts of adrenaline during combat situations. With the pain-numbing and empowering abilities of adrenaline, it is of little surprise that these members are colloquially referred to as Berserkers. "Berserkers" appear in the population with no discernible pattern and have been correlated with heightened bloodlust and lower empathy.
The diet of the Mabronnans is mostly meat-based with the Mabronnans having sharp teeth and a powerful bite, though they can eat plant matter and often use herbs or vegetables in cooking. Their metabolism and digestive system are quite strong and they are capable of eating rotting flesh without any adverse effects. Some Mabronnans even prefer the taste of rotting flesh to fresh meat. The Mabronnans also possess a frog-like tongue which they can shoot out to catch insects or larger prey, though with insects this is to them what a cheese puff is to a human, if you are going to eat it then you cannot just have one.
Mabronnans are of a speed around that of a wolf, on par with humans for intelligence and extraordinarily strong. The average, non-military Mabronnan can lift up to one thousand pounds. In addition to the previously mentioned details, Mabronnans possess tails and claws. Their tails are four feet long and quite flexible, effectively serving as another limb though not as strong as their arms and legs. Their claws are retractable and are of a great assistance in climbing. The climbing ability of the Mabronnans is mighty but not all-powerful, confronted with a smooth surface, they will find a different way to deal with the obstacle. On bricks and the like though, they climb with ease.
Mabronnans lay groups of four to six eggs and are a fast-breeding race that mates normally for life with one mate. As cold-blooded reptiles, their greatest weakness is the cold. While they enjoy hot climates such as jungles, deserts, tropical areas and (should they reach Earth) the Fiery Pits of Florida, climates with extreme cold are the hardest for them to conquer as it requires environmental regulation of some sort to keep them from freezing to death. Normal coats and the like are of little help to them as such clothing relies on trapping body heat. Instead, the Mabronnans tend to utilize thermal clothing. This has serious drawbacks if fuel runs out or the thermal clothing is ruined.
System of Government: Spend at least 4 paragraphs explaining what form of government you use and how it works. You may include any details you feel needed. Be creative!
History: Spend at least 4 paragraphs telling us the general history of your nation. Important wars, how it came to be what it is today, and so on.
Culture: This is super-important. At least 6 paragraphs on culture. This includes religion and the such.
Important people, places, and organizations: This is self-explanatory.
Military size: For the typical species, a military cannot be larger than 7% of the total population. But if you have some special reason that it should be higher, I'll most likely allow it.
Military details: Describe the strength, organization, command-structure, and any other necessary details of your military. 3 paragraphs minimum.
Weapons tech: Go nuts!
General Technology: Really go nuts! For at least 3 paragraphs!
Economy: Are your people poor and starving? Rich and fat? Are you economically powerful enough to control other nations through wealth? Can you be controlled through wealth?
Spaceships: Please describe, in as much detail as possible, the sort of space vessel you use and how they operate. Don't forget to include the general size of these vessels, how many people they can carry, and what sort of weapons they use. This should be at least 4 paragraphs long
Anything with a two legs, two arms, and a face is a humanoid. Because it's in the shape of a human.
Humanoid doesn't mean human, it means bipedal and in the general shape of a human, with general human-like features. So yes, that would just be a reptilian humanoid. If it's bipedal and has a face, opposable thumbs, and hands, then there's a 90 percent chance it qualifies as humanoid xD

Yaaayyyyy!
Hopefully you'll be the first one not to make a dangerous, violent race
So far we have like two "neutral" aliens (Xim and MONARCH) and then like an army of villians (Mardox's race, RWDS's race, the X'Cor, and sort of the Meknik) xD
THERE ARE NO GOOD GUYS. GOOD GUYS ARE A MYTH.
Villains? They are noble warriors with a code of honor! They just happen to be carnivorous semi-sociopaths who eat fallen enemies...
