Magic that is within people can do all sorts of crap... depending on what is in their soul.... it is how she uses Soul And Spirit magic, that isn't based on Ancestors or the Dead, but then again hers is also an ability, to see stuff others can't and read the future....
Other people, if they are a witch, can draw on magic based on what their soul's element is, if it is Nature then, it comes down to what, be it plants, animals, bugs, and so on... :3 so one could become a Beast if they were of Animal Nature, or of Jack of all Trades and had a bit of everything in them.... but that goes to say.... master of none. Most Witches though don't know this works because they are set in Tradition :3
The non witch people it takes far longer to tap into their power... Vampires can do this too.... but... they don't realize that they can.
