Faction Name: The Camarilla Prince of Los Angeles
Allegiance: Camarilla
Location: Millennium Biltmore Hotel
General Information: This is the official Camarilla faction in Los Angeles. The Prince came from another city to try and fix things after the city fell apart and she is a visionary who wants to improve things. She expects the loyal Camarilla to give her support.

Name: Melissa Crofter

Personality: Melissa is an artist, a musician, and a connoisseur of both. She enjoys getting to use her creative impulses and seeing what others both kine and kindred have created. She is a dreamer and her head is firmly fixed in the clouds most of the time. She likes to style herself as a visionary instead and has all sorts of plans for beautification changes to the world and Los Angeles now.

Melissa is easy to get along with if she is not bored. But if she is bored she never has the patience for conversations. There are days when she goes about lost in her music and imagination for hours at a time. Even though she is a bit airy she has a strong presence and her beauty, vision, and artistic skill draw others to her.

Biography: Melissa was a young woman in Annapolis Maryland in the 1790s. She was a gifted musician and singer and her favorite instrument was the harp. She did not come from a wealthy family and so when a wealthy man offered to be her patron she accepted without thinking. He wooed her with praises and rewards that swept her off her feet and into his arms in a storm that she did not understand.

Then he embraced her and Melissa’s mortal life was over. Her sire was kind to her and his attraction had not faded when she became one of the kindred. He was her guide in navigating the world of the kindred. She loved the world of seductive shadows and inhuman beauty and she was happier with her new life than she ever was before.

Her sire was killed in a Sabbat attack on the city and she was left adrift. Melissa had not been on her own before but the city was full of contacts she had made through her sire’s influence. She did okay by herself until she left the city with some companions. She planned to tour the world but only toured part of it. Melissa spent time in Greece and Italy before coming back to the States.

She found Annapolis stale and moved looking for a place she could make fit her vision. She wanted a clean slate and she picked a city in central California named Burbank. Melissa ended up in charge because no one else wanted a territory so close to the Anarchs of Los Angeles.

When the Camarilla installed LaCroix in Los Angeles she knew it was going to end badly. When the situation exploded she patted herself on the back and waited for the dust to settle. Melissa has always longed to be in control of a cultural center and she sees this as her chance. She left behind a loyal follower to be regent in Burbank and has moved into Los Angeles as the new and official Camarilla Prince.

Alaric

Name: Alaric Demetrious
Generation: 8th
Appearance:

Clan: Ventrue

Disciplines: Dominate, Fortitude, Presence
Personality: Alaric is honorable and loyal to a fault. He is devoted to Melissa and was entranced by her vision when he met her in Greece on her short lived world tour. He is not the smartest vampire but he thinks well on his feet and is very solid. Alaric is also very forceful and one of the people who can talk Melissa out of her fugue states of vision.

Biography: Alaric was embraced as a young man in Greece. His sire was a strange one for a Ventrue who did not want to deal with the duty of educating a new childe. He was given as a gift to a beautiful woman who took an interest in his knowledge of the ancient architecture and artwork. Though she never put any demands on him during her visit to Greece he came to see it as his duty to attend her. He accompanied her back to the Americas and has never looked back.

Meredith

Name: Meredith Atkins
Generation: 7th
Appearance:

Clan: Toreador
Disciplines: Presence, Celerity, Auspex
Personality: Meredith is a charming and witty person. She is fast to tell jokes and pleasant to be around. She is a music fan too. Meredith has a slightly sadistic side and she considers pain a spice that makes art more interesting. She studies behavior and thinks that bearing and mannerisms can be an art equal to any other. She is very down to earth for a Toreador.

Biography: Meredith also comes from Annapolis. She was an outcast artist who struggled to make ends meet. She was embraced by Melissa in the 1830s after Melissa’s sire had died. Meredith was enthralled by her sire and the early days of friendship and patronage never faded all the way. She was with Melissa on her tour of the ancient world and has stuck with her.

Meredith has been an advisor and friend to Melissa. She also is used when there is a problem that needs less pleasant methods to solve. Because she likes pain and studies it she is skilled at torture and extracting information.

Martin

Name: Martin Crane

Disciplines: Celerity, Potence, Presence
Personality: Martin is a scholar and a visionary as well as a fighter who yearns for the old days of Carthage. He is emotional and appreciative of the visions of others. Right now he is enthralled by his mistress and he believes that her visions will lead her to create a cultural center like Carthage once was. He is her favorite right now and this makes him confident.

Biography: Martin Crane was once an Anarch. He was embraced in the 1950s by a radical anarchist Brujah who convinced him that the life of an Anarch was the only way. He was trapped under his sire’s spell for years until his sire was killed by other Anarchs. Martin became disillusioned with anarchy and left the Free State to see what the rest of the world offered.

In Burbank he met Melissa and while he was captivated by her beauty and vision she found his fire equally intriguing. He was amazed that a Prince of the Camarilla that he had heard so many bad things about could be so wonderful. He eagerly leads her forces on the battlefield with the enthusiasm of a Brujah who has a cause again.
