Victor plunged his sword through the last goblin standing. The poor creature howled in pain and dropped its small dagger. It gripped the blade of Victor's sword trying to remove the blade from its chest. Victor put his boot up to the goblins chest and kicks him away to pull his sword free. The goblin died screaming in pain. Victor looked around him seeing the dead corpses of five goblins. A lone wolf walks up to Victor and spoke. A normal person would have been startled by this, but this wolf was his spirit companion. "Good work. These goblins won't be attacking any more of the villager's livestock."

"Indeed, now we take these goblin's head back and get the reward." Victor replied.

Victor moved to behead the goblins but suddenly a fog rolled in. It grew in its thickness until Victor could barely see the tip of his blade. He raised his sword in defense of a coming attack. He could not tell where even his spirit companion was. Without warning, the temperature took a nose dive. The change in temperature alerted Victor making him even more tense. The fog dissipated as quickly as it came. Victor found himself in unfamiliar lands. Scanning the area for threats, he spots a group of people not far from him. He looked them up and down trying to read if they were a treat. Quickly, he pulls out a cloth and wipes the goblin blood off his blade. With a clear sword he calls out to group, "Greetings, strangers. I am Victor Ultimara. Are you friend or foe? And By the Moons, Where in the Abyss am I?"

Backstory: Victor was always naturally gifted with magic and even at a young age, he was known for playing with magic. However, Victor was born a slave. His fellow slave covered for him and encouraged him only to use magic in secret for the overseers did not like a slave with magic. When he turned 13, Victor was sold to a gladiator school for profit. This was a hard transition from a farmer to warrior, but it was possibly the best thing for Victor. Victor had to learn quick how to fight. He first entered the ring to kill another man when he was 14 and a half. For the next five years, Victor fought in countless matches winning most. While as a gladiator, Victor found a man who took him under his wing. That man taught Victor how to channel his natural magical powers into the art of a swordmage. This mentor taught him a lot which gave Victor an advantage over most of his opponents. Eventually, Victor won his freedom.

Once Victor was finally free, his spirit companion revealed himself to him. Victor had always noticed a raven nearby whenever he was "alone" or in a fight, but never did he think anything of it. This companion had been with Victor his entire life but revealed itself now because Victor was finally ready to understand. His companion had made a pact with Victor's long forgotten ancestors to help their bloodline. His spirit compainion spends most of its time in the form of a raven, but when needed can shape shift into a wolf, tiger, or bear.

i am interested in this one. I am not familiar with Ravenloft setting but I am quite familiar with Dnd.
I got tired of waiting. I have jumped everyone to the outskirts of the town. Within shooting distance but safe and hidden. I hope this will move us forward.
Rose got bored of waiting for everyone to get ready. She did not really know why she was waiting for them. Willhelm needed to follow her because she owed him money. Robert and herself were going to be headed in the same direction. Thusly, she reasoned those were going to be the only ones she would have to be traveling with. If Mordred or Chadrick and his robomutt were going to follow, Rose might have to question their motives. She dislikes being followed. In fact, she disliked being observed. This was the main quality that got her selected for this mission she was on. If these four bystanders proved their worth to her as she reclaimed her stuff from the besieged town of Thamein, she might have to make the case to her superiors that they may be able to help her to complete her mission.

Rose left the building without saying much more. She made her way across the way across the wastes towards Thamein. She walked with a great deal of alertness. Even something as harmless as a bloatfly made her seek cover and hid. She was more than armed enough to destroy a small lone bloadtfly, but she did not want to waste a bullet. Finally about an hour and a half before sundown, Rose and anyone following her got to the town of Thamein. She stopped behind the cover of a large boulder within sniper range of the town borders. A wall that had not been around the town had been raised with considerable haste. It was little more than a pile of junk. It would be effective however to deter attacks from anything short of deathclaws or organized military force.

Rose turns to the group, "Any thoughts on how you boys want to assault this place?"
TEAM DEATH MATCH!!!
Hello? What is happening?
I am around. I would have liked to see more people post before I did, but I posted anyways. If y'all would kindly post a reply I could leap us to the next town and some action.
Rose turned to face Robert. She glared with some anger in her eyes, "If you assume my people are anything like those ruffians then you, Sir, are poorly mistaken. It might cost you your life. Anyways, Any who, Looks like you and I have something in common after all. You need to go to the same town as me. You need to deliver a package. I need my gear. Someone stands in both our ways and it is the same someone. Take point. You have my aid."

Rose may have told Robert to take the lead, but she turned to leave the building. She motioned to Willhelm, Mordred, and Chadrick to follow.
