He messaged me a couple of months back. Said he had a new account. I told him off for reasons that I don't need to get into and haven't heard from him since. So he's still around, unfortunately, just not here.
"Little shit." The metallic voice echoed in Tychus's head, filled with spite that drowned away any remorse the wolf had meant to instill within him, "If he tries something like that a second time..." Tychus merely shook his head, drumming his fingers on Jin's scabbard. In the sudden calmness of the room came the faint scent of sulfur and ash, the herald of Thok whenever he chose to enter into the mortal world from Hell. It was one of the conveniences of Hell, Tychus had always supposed. He doubted it made up for the screaming prisoners, the daemons, and the smell, but to each their own,

"You did well," Thok chuckled, his skeletal jaw clacking against itself, his figure fading into the room in a shroud of swirling ash that gathered at his feet. Tychus never really took a moment to imagine what kind of hell it must have been for the Aulani janitorial staff, what with the messes daemons were so inclined to make. "Not precisely with your little human friends, of course." Thok cackled again, his bony teeth still with a copper tinge from the earlier meal, bit of meat stuck between his teeth, particularly around the canines, "The goblin went down quite well. Perhaps one day you'll find the time to secure me some more lucrative meals though. Something more... unique." Tychus offered Thok a roll of his eyes as a response, signing as he did so, "I'll be sure to keep an eye out higher class meals then. Would you prefer Jörmungandr or Cerberus?" If Thok had a pair of eyeballs, he very well might have rolled them in response as well.

"Very funny, boy. You know how very much I love jokes." Thok said. His tone indicated only the opposite of what he said. The daemon's bony fingers ran down his suit, ensuring that his tie and coat were straight and perfectly presentable, "Now then, boy. I owe the lords of Sin a visit. Let us hope you avoid injuring yourself a second time today, shall we?" No chance for rebuttal was given, Thok consumed in a quick burst of flame that seemed to only leave a small smoldering pile of ash where his feet once were, further accompanying the ash from earlier. "Drama queen." Jin snarled, Tychus laughing at the comment, his seared throat only producing a throaty growl, the closest thing to a laugh he could produce these days.

Tychus took some time to let his consciousness fully return, the events of the past twenty minutes enough to bog him down a good deal. He forced himself off of the bed eventually once he was sure that Tris and co were long gone and employed Jin as a cane as he made his way out of the clinic, the warm fall sun falling upon his pale skin like the magnified rays of light from a magnifying glass over the pale ant that was Tychus. He pouted to himself and made his way as quickly as he could to the TA housing on the edge of campus, very interested in being as far away from the clinic as possible, not wanting to deal with both Tris and her brother within the span of an hour. He could only handle so many busybodies after all.

Nah, I just felt the need to post to bring in some closure; I hadn't posted on it for a very long time, and I felt the need to. Nothing big like that.

Better late than never, ja?
I'll get a post up sooner or later too. My character isn't in any state of urgency though and I'm completely swamped so it'll be later rather than sooner, truth be told.
Truth be told Thane had spent most of his time with the crowd zoning in and out. Large groups of people never were his strongest point, his pseudo-introverted nature making him better suited to quiet, more secluded places with small more intimate groups of people. Everyone here seemed to be out for blood, completely unreasonably bunch, the whole lot of them. His eyes rarely left Erin in this small grouping of people who was often times the epicenter of most events happening in the camp, with today being no exception. Her comments directed at Skelington seemed to be undoubtedly pointed with her completely shutting down any notion of the two of them being made for one another. Thane couldn't exactly complain about that, now could he? It was the cacophony of voices that followed Erin's input, as well as the outrage produced by the skeletal boy that bothered Thane though. Erin's leaning into his side, giving him a heads up that they'd head out now that she was done welcoming hell up to the Earth was enough to make him happy to have emerged from the cabin. "Thane, come on. I'm starting to get bored just standing here. Let's find something to waste the time until the festivities tonight shall we?" she said coolly up to him, eliciting a nod and a muted grunt from the bottom of his throat.

Thane draped an arm around her side, his hand resting just above her hip, his spindly fingers pressing gently into her top, the warmth from her seeming to radiate through the fabric. Thane made no comment to her about where they were going or what they would be doing, not wanting the others to be able to find them later on or to have rumors spread through the camp about the two of them. He was sure that with how friendly they'd been acting recently that there were already some suspicions about... romantic entanglement between the two of them. It wasn't a rumor Thane could necessarily object to, but it wasn't one that he wanted to spread out of respect for Erin. Intimacy had always been the root of all worry with her for as long as they had been close and it certainly hadn't changed overnight, not that he couldn't notice the mild warmth the had been growing between the two of them these last few weeks. After Ate's attack, it seemed to bring down Erin's wall, or at the very least part of it. The horror in her eyes when he arrived and turned the figure of what he could only assume to be her abusive ex was still burned into his brain, the image replaying whenever he dwelled on Ate's game too long.

Thane shot a glance back toward the crowd, making sure there were no obvious followers before he final spoke, feeling free to speak now that they were entering the shade of the wood that surrounded Camp Half-Blood. "I can't help but notice that lately, things between us have been..." He started, unsure of where exactly he was trying to go with this, unsure of what the implications of his words would be, "well... different." His fingers peeled back from the fabric of her shirt, his hand sliding down her side until it met her hip and left her person altogether. As he spoke, he kept walking, his pace slowing considerably as the crowd became less and less visible through the wall of trees. "Ever since Ate captured us, the air between us has been different and I'm not sure if it entirely makes sense to me." Thane turned to face her, no longer walking, and put a hand to her hip, taking a step toward her, the distance between them no more than a few inches at best. "You're the most important person in my world, Erin. What am I to you?" His voice was a whisper as he leaned in to her, the tip of his nose practically touching hers, almost as if he was daring her to lean forward.
You did not just do what I think you did..." Tris almost snarled, Tychus already knowing what came next. Reflexively he turned his cheek slightly, moving into her swing, making the impact a bit louder, the blow stinging as much as it would have had he remained still. It was more for her benefit than his own, Tychus fully aware of how Tris acted around him, how she thought or better stated, how she felt. The sting of the blow was already beginning to fade by the time she dove into her venomous insults, something she tended to do in these situations. Tris had always had a nasty habit of forgetting that at the end of the day, Tychus was still the one leading her language class, making her a student first and a friend second when it came to her language skills. The rest of her anger was more a defense mechanism than anything itself. Tychus knew how she felt about him, knew that she wanted recognition, something more than he was going to give her just for helping him mop up his messes. She said she'd never help every time and every time after, she was back.

'Jason has his own problems' he almost went to sign, knowing it was futile at this point. Her back was turned and she was on her way out, only taking the time to talk at himself and the boy that accompanied her before making her exit. Her words weren't exactly the most complimentary things he had received from her in awhile, the part about her being wrong on his being a hunter to look up to and a great friend stinging substantially more than the earlier slap. Tichondrius looked to Tris's familiar, signing toward her, assuming that she had picked up on some from being around Tris, "Bring her by the tree later tonight. I'll apologise." Tychus then shifted his focus to the boy that Tris had dragged along, frowning, unsure of what to do with him, if anything. He held up a single finger at the boy, shoving a hand into his pocket fishing out his smartphone, a massive Note 3, and popped out the stylus. He quickly jotted down a note and turned the device toward the boy, "Giver her some company, she'll cheer up quickly enough. If you want to talk to me later on, come by the fashion portion of the arts complex or the TA housing at the edge of campus and I'll tell you about whatever it is you must want to know. Ok? Now... shoo."
