Hi. I'm Matt. You could say I'm a Case of Identity...
1. The Important Stuff: Faith and salvation
I am a Christian. I believe the KJV Bible and that God is real, Jesus died for me, Jesus rose again and offered salvation to the world. Heaven is real, Hell is hot and the only escape is Christ. I accepted salvation the only way you can: by admitting I was a sinner (and I still am), believing that Jesus died for me and rose again, and calling on Him to save me. Anyone can do it anytime and be granted eternal life.
"Matt, why are you saying all of this?" you ask.
Because last time I was here, I did a crap job of establishing that and just tried to 'fit in.' I'm going to add a little more of this to my characters and to my signature, because it's the right thing to do and because there's freedom on these kinds of sites. Not to an extent that interrupts/derails the story, though. Your game, your rules.
2. The Actual Bio:
Hi guys. I'm Matthias Emmanuel Angel, I'm 24, and this is where I spend time when I'm not doing other things (church, homework, studying, video games).

What I like:
-Landscape Management (my major)
-Guitar (over a decade of experience and not much to show for it)
-PC Games (gave up on Xbox, no regrets)
-RPGs (I play them too often though)
-Water instead of soda (oooo look at how healthy I am)
-Google SketchUp (awesome 3D models, free download)
-The number 23 (it's the best number)

What I don't like:
-Profanity (especially when it's just filler in comedy)
-Lewd content and porn (and anyone bragging about it)
-Gory movies (how are they going to get butchered this time?)
-Jerks (you aren't a jerk, are you?)
-Insects (kill them all)
-Dying in video games (and forgetting to save)

I realize, of course, that this site doesn't have limits on profanity of lewd content. No worries. I'll work around it, and won't join up with RPs rated 18+. If you feel like it will be a problem, let me know BEFORE the RP starts.

@Brithwyr Her attitude and cockiness, especially for a first-year student. Kriss is calm and realistic, and her "I'm invincible" personality is completely opposite of his. He may one-up her as an attempt to teach her a lesson, which probably won't work.

@Brithwyr Claudia is already getting on my nerves. Methinks she and Kriss may clash.
@KitzTheFawn Hey, put some heart in your weapons and equipment. "Handguns" could be one of hundreds of guns. Do some research. Find a company and model you like. Pick a caliber, and attachments (suppressors, lasers, flashlights, whatever) if you like. Try describing your melee/blade weapons too. Color, sheath, engravings...special features that make it yours.

KRISS MAUSER
Kriss has spent the ride flipping the pages of the small Bible, glancing at pages but barely reading them. The words were familiar but no longer interesting. Heck, he had only brought it because it was the only book on his desk. He flicked the edges of the pages with his thumbnail, glancing around at the other students. Some were familiar but most were new. He caught sight of Adam Unterhügel, another third-year student he had shared a class or two with over the previous two years. Kriss gave him a short nod from across the barge when he thought Adam was looking. He made a mental note to actually greet him later.
The ride felt as long as it had the previous years, and the docking was just as jarring. He grinned as some of the new students lost their footing and stumbled into each other. Mumbling apologies, the group made their way onto the docks and into the presence of Vasilisa Kuznetsov. She appeared to be in the usual disagreeable mood. Kriss followed along as she ordered them off the barge and into the courtyard, now occupied by a vast number of dummies.
"Oh good, the 'Dummy Test,'" he muttered, tightening the strap of his messenger bag. "At least the new kids are going first again. Hope I'm not too outclassed this t-" Kriss grunted as he was shoved aside by a student running to the front. She was quite possibly the smallest girl he had ever seen at the academy. She hurled herself into the test, using what looked like a pair of flamethrowers to torch a whole line of dummies. Kriss groaned. Another pyromaniac. There was something about the obsession with fire that turned a person into a monster, and fire-manipulating students occasionally became uncontrollable and dangerous to their own classmates. But he didn't know her, and he wasn't about to look down on someone he knew nothing about. She could be a smart, talented person with a passion to excel. Of course, she could also be insane.
Kriss shrugged. There were plenty of insane people already attending the academy. She'd fit in one way or another.

@Spriggs27 I'd like to change Matt's name and appearance if it's not too late. I have a more Germanic OC with a more appropriate name. Matt's usual bio, personality, and loadout are much different than what I posted. The bio, weapons, skills, etc will all be the same for the other OC. It's strictly physical.
I can have a new sketch and description before the end of the day.
