@Vocab You're already running two, aren't you? I dunno. I was just wishing one of our existing ones was like that. Kriss is basically a hacker and close-range soldier. He could really use sniper support or a crowd blender, not a half-naked smart mouth with something pointy.

Would it be too much to also suggest she wear something more, idk, practical? We have several "distraction" assassins. Why not just straight-up make her a soldier or something? Camouflage, armor, high-caliber firearms, etc. What's wrong with a character who assassinates a target from a tree with a silenced rifle? Kriss kind of leans in that direction, but so many other people want to just waltz into a penthouse and stab their target in the back (or face, apparently) without being caught or taking a bullet. People seem to be focused on doing everything dramatically. I'd like to see at least one female assassin who isn't afraid to crawl through the mud to get to a vantage point.

A long moment passed as Adam turned to make eye contact with Kriss. A much longer moment passed as Kriss realized that Adam was waiting for him to continue talking. Time slowed to a crawl as Kriss found himself locking eyes with Adam, both of them waiting for the other to say something. He had at least succeeded in catching his attention, and through the mask of disinterest, Kriss could glimpse a twitch of irritation over his terrible accent. It was too late to just turn around and leave, but for the life of him Kriss couldn't think of anything further to say. He watched to his silent dismay as Adam turned back to watch the action. He followed his gaze just in time to see the class president, Adam Solis, cut a robot head in half as it hurtled towards the headmistress.

His ears perked up as the student barked a response back at Adam (the class president, that is), who had reprimanded her for hurling something at the head of the academy. Her voice had a sharp German edge to it. Almost in response, the robot test ended. Kriss people were beginning to move away. He cleared his throat, deciding to risk starting a conversation anyway.

"A German first-year? It's been a while..." he muttered, turning back to face his classmate. "So how have things been? You were productive over the break, I'm sure."

I was under the impression that Adam U would respond and, I don't know, ask how Kriss was doing or something. I was going to give him an opening to introduce himself in return.

Well, now I know. I'll assume Kriss didn't actually talk to him very much. Can we establish that before I post?

So I was thinking about the actual classes at this school, how specialized are the classes? Are they all generic?

I'd ask Spriggs, but I'd guess the first-years all have to take "Intro to (whatever)," with second-years getting "Intermediate (whatever)" and third-years getting "Advanced (whatever)." They could all be the same list of classes.

1. Intro To/ Basics could be armed combat, unarmed combat, stealth, firearm operation, melee weapons, gym/physical fitness (knife dodgeball haha), driving, poisons, etc. Basic assassination missions (target is in the open or easy to find), and they're optional.

2. Intermediate stuff could be pressure points, marksmanship, hacking, traps, medical aid, teamwork/cooperation in the field, operating special vehicles, poisons of different effect (quick death, slow death, causing insanity), etc. You could also choose a "major" and focus on it, maybe to the extent that you have to develop a weapon/tool/style of your own. At least one more difficult assassination mission (guards, cameras, hard-to-reach places, only a description of the target)

3. Advanced could be isolating what you're best at and spending most of your time on missions involving that skill rather than going to classes. Kriss is focused on technological warfare. He could be sent on missions to corporate buildings or penthouses with high security.

NOTE: I suggest everyone pick out a handful of classes that fit them, for their year, and only talk about attending them. Rather than discussing taking ALL the classes, pick three to actually talk about attending IC. If your character loves stabbing things, skip talking about firearm operation.
