So eh, any chance some slots opened up so that I can get my character in? :)
Personally I'd rather end it the long way if possible...although South West is looking pretty much done so I'm fine either way.

On that note...are we all out by now? The post isn't making it clear whether we made it out safely or whether we're still running away. Not that I'd be able to do much since if I stop to shoot I'm probably dead.
Here. :)

Post going up Tuesday morning. Gonna catch up on the IC stuff at work during breaks.Getting back into the flow of things~ Ladedadeda~

So eh...what happened to this?
Hmmm...I probably should've mentioned this sooner, but I'm not going to have internet access from July 4th-13th due to leaving my laptop home during a trip. If I don't make a post before Brovo get's the next GM post up, just have me do everything possible to get the biologist to safety then help the rest of my group complete any other objectives that might pop up. Just don't sacrifice Marvin for the cause. :P
Posted myself. Let's just hope Brovo doesn't interpret that last line to mean "Run away before everyone else like a moron."
South West-Marvin Walters

Marvin was at first quite happy with the successful shot, but that feeling faded when things quickly escalated from bad to worse. He knew that they wouldn't have much time before things spiraled out of control. The biologist had to be evacuated now. Luckily it seems that he had already been extracted from the APC, now it was just a matter of getting him to safety...easier said than done. This was going to be especially difficult now that the (presumably) alpha wolf had arrived, and the fact that the wolves were likely faster than the people on foot. He started on a plan, but didn't have much time to think, so went with the first plan he came up with.

He then shouted through the speakers "Liam! Get over there and escort that biologist. Everyone else that can hear me, do that too." He then pushed a grey button that started the loading process for his HE missiles, then pushed the green lever, disengaging his WP Gyro, allowing him to start walking over towards the biologist. His plan was to reach somewhat of a halfway point between his current position and the APC, thus his compatriots could help him if things went sour, but also wouldn't be in the thick of the soon-ensuing battle. Then he engaged the Gyro again, and aimed for the wolves. First, he fired a Laser shot at the nearest wolf (discounting the one atop the APC, since it was already being fired at), then pointed his sights down. Soon, he figured, the wolves would start charging at the group, so he readied to fire his missile at a group of them. When he fired, he wanted to hit the alpha, but knew that getting a large group would likely be more important if he had to choose. He knew he would want to fire at their feet so that they would likely sustain at least some damage when the missile hit.

He took a deep breath, and put his other hand on the green lever. Once he fired the HE missile, his usefulness in the battle would diminish significantly, so he prepared to bolt out of the combat zone with the biologist once the missile was fired.
All right! One wolf shiskabobed two more to...okay five more...six?! Dang it that wasn't supposed to happen. The one isn't even dead yet...though hopefully it should be crippled enough to not provide much trouble as long as we start running right about...now!

Anyways, is there any point where there are a lot of wolves gathered together to where a missile will potentially hit several at once? Not sure whether to fire a missile at a group of them or pick off the one atop the APC (might do that with a missile too though just to make sure...)
Just posted myself. Time to hunt some wolves.

Suddenly wishing I had grabbed the .50 Minigun, but oh well.
Marvin Walters-South West

Marvin, upon seeing the APC, started moving forward towards it. He had a thought, and was about to tell the others to rescue the people in the APC, but he was beaten to the punch it seems. Regardless, he decided to provide covering fire to them while they did so. The Narrow Beam Laser wasn't nearly as good at that as the minigun, but it would have to do for now. He used his speakers again and said in a stoic tone "Liam, I'm gonna distract those wolves. If I'm successful, I think they're probably going to charge straight at us. If that happens, I want you ready with that Assault Rifle to shoot these things down before they get to us. If they go for the other two, just run up and distract them so that the soldiers can get the men in the APC out. As for me...it's time to go hunting."

Not bothering to wait for a response, Marvin headed towards the wolves. His intention was to get close enough to the wolves to have a clear shot, however he also wanted to be far enough away to avoid provoking the wolves before firing. Still, he knew that he'd have to be a certain distance close to them in order to have a reasonable visibility to them and be in range of his weapon. Hoping that his gamble would work, he pulled a green lever and In seconds, a thud sound came from his legs, as knobs about 6 inches thick and 2 feet wide clamped down onto the ground. Part of the screen lit up, showing a screen showing "WEAPONS READY", indicating that his weapons platform gyro was ready to fire.

He took a deep breath, and aimed his mech's left arm towards the wolf that seemed closest to the two rescuers and waited. A few seconds later, and a red window flashed on screen, indicating a weapons lock. He pulled the trigger, allowing the blue beam to hurtle towards the wolf at the speed of light...at least he thought it was that speed. Then he swiftly readied to fire more shots when the wolves inevitably moved.
