I've been seriously considering Dewey winning in '44 or '48, and then re-elected, then I guess I'll have to see who gets elected in '52. A consequence of Dewey's election however could very well be no 22nd Amendment, as it was primarily a Republican backed bill aimed at preventing a Democratic domination of the presidency(mainly due to FDR's four terms and Truman's subsequent election).

That would be lovely, all depends on the month we start I guess, I mean the leading theory is that Beria poisoned him. But I guess if he is dead you could still maintain Stalinism by having Molotov clutch the leadership, or alternatively you could make things really interesting and have Beria take power...it'd be hard with the latter, but I mean if he moved quickly with the NKVD against individuals such as Khrushchev, Molotov & Zhukov then he has a shot.
