@clanjos Ok, i would like to call shenanigans on that paint scheme, it's listed nowhere in your gunpla's sheet. That and shortcuts are the shortening of any route by means of an alternate path. considering your gunpla by your own sheet's description "As an additional advantage, its thrusters are all pointed backward in Suit Mode- allowing it to use all its thrust to move forward quickly." would mean it was designed to go forwards quickly.

This would lead me to believe it has rather poor thrust vectoring and maneuvering when "point the rockets behind you and go" is your strategy. it would lead to rather sloppy and exaggerated maneuvering lines when changing directions. Kyo took the faster path available to them, maneuvering on the "inside" of your own exhaust trails, meaning less top speed, but also less distance to cover to catch up with the beetle.

Kyo growled, Faith had lost a bit of the color on the back of its head from the kick. Trying to follow it with their eyes, kyo found that they couldn't. Kyo smirked and switched visual spectrums for their sensors, now boosting after the gunpla. All of the trusters were working overtime as Kyo followed behind it. while Faith might have not had the speed advantage, faith also only really needed to take short cuts. It wasn't long before Kyo was following rather hot behind the beetle. "Parlor tricks like paint like that and raw speed will only get you so far!" Kyo called out as he started to deliver fire from the beam rifle in his hand, the buster rifle holstered for now.

The beam rifle fire was astoundingly accurate as the custom closed in at full burn from every thruster pushing it after the enemy. "All those tricks wont save you when the back of your gunpla looks like a Christmas tree on the thermal!" kyo shouted out, firing a barrage on the back of the beetle Gunpla, aiming to hopefully disable a few thrusters and force him into a fight.

Kyo fought the unicorn until it was sliced apart by the Faith's shield in one final clash between the two. "hehe, was adorable, even used the NTD system and everything." they said before looking around. Spotting a fleet engagement between NPC and a fuckton of debris in the middle, most likely hiding people. Maneuvering while slicing apart two players who were in red frame astrays, Kyo moved to the position behind the zeon. "FOR ALL OF YOU WHO ARE PLAYING DENMARK, CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED. YOU CAN FIGHT OR DIE HIDING IN THE RUBBLE LIKE THE COWARDS YOU ARE." Kyo shouted over the open communications channels, taking aim with the twin buster rifle.

Ten seconds passed as those who could monitor them would see a pollution of plavasky particles around the gunpla, incoming beam attacks being nullified to negligible damage. After the ten seconds were up, the twin buster rifle fired. With a blinding brilliance, the plavasky particles around the gundam were sucked inside of it, the beam growing large and becoming a ray of death. It punched through both flagships and wiped out all of the moks in its path. With the bea firing for the better part of ten seconds after the initial warmup. This gave Kyo enough time to swing it, obliterating both flagships and their escorts in the ensuing explosions from them. Judging from secondary explosions of great magnitude, Kyo had also caught several players in the beam. Holstering the weapon between the wings, Kyo readied themselves for the fight coming towards them.

Snow looked out and sighed, seeing them all. She was going to be teaching this group how to exist on base and work as a team. Having no doubt they could fight, those two would be the only issue. "Right. As to what the aliens are, we don't really know per say. They show up, annihilate us and leave, seeming to only care about destruction." she explained as the room got dark and a projector lit up. "Low tech, i know, considering what you are." she said, the film beginning to roll as recordings of black blurrs swept across their vision.
"Considering we're all based off the same fictional tech, we're ok, but they wiped out recordings we've had electronically stored." she said, stopping the projection on one frame, a vaguely humanoid shape. Still blurred and black. "This is the best view we have of one of these things. Anyone who had gotten up close with them has been killed, you girls are our new hope." she said and lett the clips play on repeat.

"As to our current supplies, we've got a month at most, so in addition to combat ops, you'll need to do some scavanging. You'll be armed while scavenging since we never know when they'll attack."

Kyo walked up to the massive battlefield and set their gunpla down on the launcher. Then they set their base and stared up at the space battlebefore themselves. "too much...." the kid said before grabbing the controls half heartedly. Kyo was serious, but he didn't feel like putting in effort.

"Tooo much...." Kyo said and looked down at the g base and stared before typing in the name of the Gunpla. "XS Faith, launching." the person half heartedly said. Kyo launched out and was directly confronted with another student. They were in a unicorn, who was obviously flanked by someone who was their buddy, who was in one of the new Barbatos kits.

"Oh, cute." Kyo said, watching as the barbatos threw the mace at their XS. "Trying to recreate the show... i don't blame em." Kyo said, using the new wings to maneuver upwards, reaching out the shield hand before grabbing the end of it. they spun around and threw it right back, skewering the barbatos and taking it out.

the unicorn took exception to that, now getting into a dog fight with kyo, trading shots while clashing with their shields.
