There will always be a song out there that fits how one can feel, though unfortunately it seems life favors sad songs the most.

It's good to get back in the swing of things after a couple weeks away. And hopefully, this time, I plan to stay!
Bio
I'm just your average, everyday roleplayer who mainly resides in Terraria's community forums.
Lots of stuff has happened in my life the last few months that I needed to dedicate my time to until I could reach a stable, well, time again. I'm so sorry if I worried anyone here, I made a lot of friends that I feel I abandoned with no explanation as to why. But what matters is, I think I've reached enough stability to RP again!
Anyway, generally speaking, I try to be a good person. I do my best to improve, I try to listen to criticism with an open ear, and I don't like to argue. There's so much potential here... It's awesome really. I just hope I can contribute something worthwhile.
Watching the upperclassman had some pretty good perks in Blake's eyes as they all waited to be released. For starters, he would get to see some rather unique people, ranging from seniors who didn't look the part to sophomores who appeared older than they actually were. He supposed he fit somewhere in that category, but that wasn't the only reason he was people watching at the moment... And that was due to how he admired how some of the upperclassmen looked, along with his own freshmen group. There was some beautiful women and handsome men throughout the school, each with their own story to tell, different personalities... It must be something truly special. Even if they themselves couldn't see that beauty in having a different or unique story, he was very intrigued when it came to such small talk.
Though, speaking of his own freshmen group, he decided he'd look around at his own class as the seniors were just getting dismissed. He spotted some familiar faces from previous years in middle school, though he doesn't recall the names of a lot of them. He was terrible when it came to names, but he always took note of someone's face and could recognize it if he ever saw them again. He supposed that was both a gift and a curse of his, but to him he was glad he could remember anything about his classmates. He even hoped that this year he'd be able to learn more about them too. Maybe even become friends with a lot of them too. In fact, he's already made some friends that are unique in their own right.
One of them that he spotted was Ebony Washington standing at the front of the bleachers, camera already in hand. He remembered the day that she first moved here that he begged his Aunt to go and see them. Since they both have an optimistic attitude and like others to be themselves, he believes that is the reason they clicked for a friendship. Unfortunately, he didn't get to stare at her for long, noticing that she left with the senior group... Most likely to take pictures. He didn't mind that, nor the wait to catch up to her, seeing as he was neglecting his watch on others.
So when the announcement came that the freshman were finally dismissed, Blake spent no time rushing towards the carnival. He was sure she couldn't have gotten that far as she was most likely busy snapping photos of the various booths and activities, the only problem sprung from the groups of people that blocked his search. Though, standing out of the crowd was one of his friends, Poetry. She was twirling and dancing between booths, having her own fun. A warm smile emerged upon his face as he proceeded to walk in her direction when someone else beat him to the punch, and it was none other than the one he was looking for. Fixing his jacket slightly, he approached the two after Ebony said hi, getting near enough that he was essentially right next to them now.
I'ma try to get a post up in a couple hours or so, and I'll be having Blake interact with probably Poetry and Ebony as they're together and he considers them both friends.
I won't be able to post for awhile until later today, but I do like this colorful cast we have so far. Oh, and if you want to set up relations with Blake or Nathaniel, don't forget to PM me.
It would just depend, really. I'd say if he isn't swimming at his home while his parents are away he'd definitely be at the community pool to avoid them, it would just be a matter of if she would make the first attempt at starting a conversation. PM me if you want to discuss it more ^_^
Nathan stared at his alarm clock as it buzzed early in the morning, internally crying as he let out a sigh and threw off his blankets, revealing . He wasn't so much worried about school itself, but rather what today was... Some sort of carnival. He wasn't really sure as he didn't bother to get the details, only that he knew he wouldn't need his backpack today. That was a relief, he didn't really like lugging the thing around all day, especially for what was essentially a day of celebration for some. He had given himself plenty of time to get ready, even if it all wasn't needed. What more worried him was that he didn't know anyone in the small town, and felt that he'd be outcasted immediately because of this. Though, he had been mentally preparing for such an occasion... After all, if he could get it in his mind that no one would pay attention to him anyway, maybe the day would be better.
And as he began to do his regular routine of getting ready, throwing on a dark purple Under Armour hoodie with gray sweatpants to match, he glanced outside at the driveway to make sure that his father had already left for work, relieved when his father's car was gone. He was never awake to see his father leave, but it was reassuring to Nathan that he'd be gone before Nate went to school. He shuffled down the stairs, hastily entering the kitchen to grab breakfast. They hadn't bough groceries in awhile, and as tempted as he was to write a list for such an occasion, he knew better than to try to state his mind here... Maybe he'd find solace in school today. At the very least there had to be some handsome people around... And now he just felt creepy. Eating a bowl of cereal in silence, he stared at the clock, waiting for when he had scheduled to leave. It came agonizingly slow, and at this point he wasn't sure if he wanted the day to go by fast or not...
So when the time came and he managed to arrive in the freshmen section, he found a seat further away from a majority of the other freshmen, along the edge of the section; the perfect place to sit and wait to be released. He plugged earbuds into his phone, letting the cord go through the inside of his hoodie to conceal it as he hastily put his hood up. He didn't want to be recognized, or rather, he didn't really want to start a conversation up with anyone. It's always been like that... Why stop now? Instead, he could gaze at the unsuspecting people around him, listening to music with a calming peace around him. He didn't really pay attention to what the principle said, although it did strike him odd that they'd be getting their schedules on the first day of school and not today. After all... how would they know where to report to... Questions for later, he supposed.
His Outfit Location: Rooke House -> Bleachers Interactions: None
It was going to an awesome day, Blake was sure of that. When his alarm went off at 5:30, he was greeted by the sight of his Aunt Sharla, holding a fresh cup of french vanilla coffee with 5 sugar cubes and cream, just the way he liked it. She was smiling down at him, as if she were staring down at her own child... Though Blake didn't notice that. His mind was wandering towards high school, a tinge of excitement hitting him when the thought about everyone there. Even though he hadn't taken the time to get to know everyone in this town, he felt school would be the perfect way to interact with them. After all, this year felt different to him... And that excited him even more.
"You're so sweet Aunt Sharla," He began to say, hugging her lightly as he took the coffee from her hands, "This is the perfect start..." "Well, that's a relief to hear sweetie... I've already ironed your clothes and put them out for you, so while you go shower and get ready for today's carnival, I'll be cooking you breakfast!" She told him, walking off towards the stairs as he proceeded towards the bathroom.
Around 30 minutes later, Blake emerged from his fancy cave, feeling stylish from his appearance and refreshed from the coffee. When he entered the kitchen, he was glad to see that his Aunt was just finishing the meal; freshly made french toast with just the right amount of powdered sugar, almost as if it were a snowy peak or mountain range, 2 pieces of bacon, crisped to perfection, and lastly country potatoes, seasoned and fried. It was like he had went to food heaven... "Sharla, you didn't have to make this! I could have easily eaten some cereal...we have cereal right?" He said, a warm smile across his face as he stared at the food. "I won't allow my darling gem to eat such common food on his first day! Enjoy something slightly better for once, along with how much more nourishing it is than boring cereal!" Deciding not to argue with that sound logic, Blake gladly dug in... "Oh, and before I forget Blake, you're allowance is on the table by the door. Since they knew the festival was today, they made sure to give you plenty of $20s instead of just a flat 100." His Aunt said, to which he simply nodded and continued to eat...
Now, sitting in the middle section of the freshmen bleachers, he listened intently at his principal. He was sure the carnival would be a fun time... And maybe he could find someone he knew too. However, he was simply waiting to be released so that he could find someone to speak with.
"The thing I love about life is that we get to invent who we are. We're allowed and expected to change and adapt, you know? We're never the same, not even moment to moment... What an incredible power."
So you wanna know me, eh? Alright, I'll tell you...

Standing at around 5'7", he looks several years older than he actually is. He likes to assume he has a decent body build, occasionally working out but not having it revolve around his life. He works out of of necessity and not out of a genuine desire to be buff, so he appears to look in decent shape for a 15 year old. It's been said that he gets a lot of his traits from his mother, but the build of his father as his mother has black hair and hazel eyes with a constant smile or grin across his face. When it comes to clothing, he doesn't mind wearing extra layers or more refined clothes in an attempt to stand out, perhaps wearing a leather jacket over his hoodie just to add that extra flair. You will hardly see him in drastically dark clothing, and every once in awhile he likes to wear a collared shirt.
Blake can be described as the guy who always appears to be genuinely happy. He's never found without some sort of smile on him, and he takes insults with a grain of salt. He believes that you can choose to act how you want, and so he himself chooses to not let things get to him. Because of this, he doesn't mind sharing this mindset with others, attempting to back others up and defend those who may not feel like they can defend themselves. He isn't afraid to speak to someone new and tell them hello, ask how their days been, and even consider them a friend long before they return that feeling. He can generally pick up on people's emotions, and if he feels like they're feeling down, he always attempts to lighten the mood with a pun or joke.
He feels he makes friends easy, and he doesn't want to disappoint others. But because he's confident in his own abilities and strengths, he believes that it'll take more than someone's attitude or thoughts to bring him down. He knows there are some things that he isn't good at, and he knows there are other things that he is good at. And so, he focuses on what he knows how to do, how to act, and how he should treat others. Even if he doesn't agree with someone, he doesn't lash out at them because of it, or feel like they're a lesser person than he is. He just wants to have fun, keep some close friends, and get through high school. Speaking of high school, he's excited if there will be plays or musicals, as he's always loved to act, with singing and dancing following suit. It's his one true passion, and he himself believes that he could go far with it.
When it comes to others, he doesn't care how they act. He always tries to look at the positive of someone, and doesn't want to change someone even if he himself feels like they're somewhat odd or in the wrong. He loves the fact that they're unique and different than him, and feels life would be extremely dull if there was no individuality. However, he likes to take on certain personality types for the day in an attempt to experience them and hopefully enhance his own acting. So if you find him extremely depressed or down, he probably is just acting in an attempt to better convey that emotion for later use.
In school, he doubts there isn't a person who doesn't know who he is or of his family's wealth, and he doesn't mind that. He isn't like the typical rich kid who is generally snarky or condescending, but rather he likes the fact that he's going to school in a small town with average people. He believes there would be so much more diversity in people's personality, and that it'll be a much more rich experience than what money can buy.

Father - Ryan Rooke - Doctor Mother - Ciara Rooke - Doctor Sharla Sharp - Maid/Aunt/Sister of Ciara
|| HOUSE DESCRIPTION ||
The last one is his room.
The Rooke's house was designed by his father with the help of various contractors and interior designers, deciding to create a very modern home when they first initially moved to Victory Memorial Drive years ago. The place is a two story house with a basement, to which the basement is Dante's room. Other than that, the place has 4 rooms and 3 bathrooms, one if which is down in the basement for Blake's personal use. While the front yard has a tiny garden by the window, the backyard is his mother's own fruit and vegetable garden, growing things ranging from tomatoes to pomegranates. It was Blake's own decision when he was younger to live in the basement as the place was extensive enough for a very own bedroom and game area, along with a chalk board for writing down various ideas or tasks he needs to complete.
|| CAR DESCRIPTION ||
He does not have a car, but his parents promised him he'd get one when he got a license
I guess I've had it easy. When you're parents are doctors, they kinda make enough for more than just getting by.
|| BIOGRAPHY ||
Blake's life has been anything but hard, even since he was a child. They've been very financially stable due to his parent's jobs as doctors. It was how they met in the hospital, and they felt they were destined for love the moment they met. As for Blake, he's always been content. While his parents could always be gone at a moments notice, Sharla's sister was more than happy to take care of the baby. His parents were grateful to her, making a deal that if she did the housework and watched Blake, she was welcome to stay with them, and Sharla was more than happy to do so. Even more so when they decided to move back to Arrowsmith, South Dakota, the Sharp's hometown, because there was a shortage of doctor's there.
Even though Arrowsmith may not have had a lot to offer to the young child, his parents spent no time ensuring that he'd get some of the best care from his Aunt and tutors. Ranging from piano lessons to dancing and singing, the child certainly had no time to spare when he was younger. But he was content with it, as though his parents were often at work, his aunt was a very kind individual who loved him like she would a son. She made sure that he would grow up to the the individual he is today, and he's happy about it. She's the one who got him started on wanting to become an actor, or at the very least see the beauty that plays and musicals in school can hold. She inspired him, and in turn she accepts him for his differences.
He believes his room is pretty cool, his aunt cooks and makes sure everything is clean, and he gets an allowance every week for basically existing and tolerating his parents absence, which he hardly noticed due to his aunt's presence. Whenever he wants something that isn't in this small town, he can simply order it online at his leisure. Though, he hardly does this unless it's something along the lines of a new game or console that isn't available in Arrowsmith.
