His team was gone, Gwen was the only one still alive. That’s why he had to go, she deserved to have her life with her husband and child. She did not need him to mess it up. He had spent the last two years on his own back in space, away from humans. The immortal had kept a low profile, avoided making connections. But now the loneliness was getting to him. It was a loneliness not many people could understand. No matter who he found they would not be in his life for long. Not many people understood that. There was only one person Jack could think of.

Jack would not admit it, but he missed Earth. That’s why he was currently at the Earth museum on Sayol in the Phoenix galaxy. He stood staring at an old horse drawn carriage recalling when he first began his exile on Earth. He looked down the hall and froze. For there, in the 1950’s display was a Police phone Box. Swallowing he walked towards it.
A desperate Jack runs into a Time Lord, everything about him tells Jack it is the Doctor. Except something is wrong...
The Welshman slowly sat up. "Yes sir?"
The ride was uneventful. The young vampire clung to his Sire taking in the scenery and watching the wolves. He contemplated the conversation he had had with Dorian in the cave. He supposed that he could live with Dorian's rules about being clean and tidy. So long as the older vampire could stand the times he was not perfect.

Arriving at the outskirts of this new town he adjusted himself behind the older vampire and looked over his shoulder at the lights. Dorian explained to him the rules. "Alright," he agreed. There was no point protesting or causing trouble. Dorian knew what he was doing and James had to trust his judgment. He was not completely pig headed.

James continues to hold on as they approached the town. They entered the sleepy little place, James could hear voices coming from the two local inns as they rode through. He licked his lips smelling the blood, and also smelling something else, something strange. But his attention was quickly caught by the scent of blood again.
Good news! I have gotten my strength back. Still sick, but still. I will reply tonight
