@Infamous Empath No, I didn't plan for it. Maybe for loot but not for every action PCs take. I would rely on player description of what they do to determine the outcome. Like, instead of rolling to "spot" you have to tell me you are entering the new area on high alert for potential ambushes.
Man, nobody is in the mood for sci-fi dungeon crawling? :D

You have heard of it, right? Of course you have, you wouldn't be talking to me otherwise. The Derelict City. Well, you are not the first who came to me seeking information. The desperados from all over galaxy have decided to try their hand at getting rich by risking their lives on it.

It may seem easy at first, going to an abandoned megastructure like that and trying to dig out something that will get you rich, but I warn you, most people who went there don’t return. Just the trip to the Derelict City costs a fortune, which tells you how many brave fools there are in this universe, but the place itself is haunted by things left there by the previous inhabitants. I can’t tell you much, I have never been there, but the people who have and who managed to return have told me horror stories.

They say that the experiments from thousands of years ago stalk the halls and streets of the place, not to mention that many of the defence systems are still active. Also, other Crawlers are not the friendliest lot. The loot is abundant, but only if you go deep into the megastructure, and the deeper you go the more reality becomes twisted and the things you knew as normal stop having any meaning.

But hey, the people who told me these things managed to survive it, so maybe you will too? They most definitely got out of it rich, if a bit wrong in the head. So, what do you think kiddo, do you have what it takes to be a successful Crawler?

To put it simply, D&D 10000 is a D&D-based RP, happening in the far future. The setting is a long abandoned megastructure nicknamed the Derelict City, a huge city the size of a planet located on man-made habitat. Players will be people who, for one reason or the other, have decided to risk their lives in order to try and get rich out of looting this abandoned city. Basically, we are talking about typical D&D game only with guns instead of bows and arrows, high-tech devices instead of magical items, psionics instead of magic and robots instead of golems.

The play style will be sandbox, with players deciding where they want to go and what they want to do. You are also free to come up with your own lore about the galaxy at large. The focus will be on exploration, looting and combat – the encounters will be challenging and occasionally lethal, if you are not careful.
Fuck man, I'm only left with Skills, Equipment and Other fields blank and I have no idea what to put in them.
Why is this OOC so quiet?

@Hexaflexagon can you elaborate on the binding more? Like, if I decide to make a binder, will I bind a new thing every fight or will I start with one spirit/demon/thingy and then bind more during the RP like Pokemon?
I never played Changeling, but I am interested.

Hao, hao!
@Force and Fury You are making a mistake by approaching this from a scientific perspective in the first place. It's magic, you can't explain it with physics. Just tell me what your gift does and don't bother explaining the natural processes behind it because that's pointless in this setting. You say you want to show the water is all around us as compared to fire, but characters can have gifts allowing them to make either out of nowhere.

Also, I am not sure where you get that "water" characters are limited to being the support for "fire" types, or to being "calm and life giving". The most powerful and aggressive NPCs you will meet in this RP have affinity for water.
