<Snipped quote by Mihndar>Oh right, I was supposed to be one of your chief buyers in helium.
Oh well, there are tons of other products you can sell.
Really, chemistry is such a thriving business, even in the 1940s.

Yep. I'm changing the PRK to be one of the leading producers of plastics and fuels as well as electronics, which is somewhat of an unfulfilled niche so far.
@Willy Vereb

Sure, that deal would work out fabulously. I'll update my NS with the materials. Mithril would definitely be used more so in light aircraft as opposed to heavier airships.

Thank you for making my nation's specialty useless, Skepic XD

Now I have to go and change plastic to our prime industry because everyone will want Kavuria.
You can have big mechanical bears but no real bears inside, kinda like I have mechanical horses with no horses inside.

Alrighty, how about war elephants? Those actually existed in India and were often used for combat.

<Snipped quote by Hael>

I see a bright future for us, if you take the right steps.

Or... as long as you're a republic, you can side with the PRK and we'll hold off the Tin hordes for you.
The question remains. Become an immigrant loving, democracy thriving, mixing pot of the world nation? Or an Israel nation wedged in between three enemies, constantly fighting for survival? Only time with tell.... (most likely the first :P)

Well if you're going to be right there, we should probably have some history.

My nation used to be a powerful empire (modeled on the Byzantines) and then had a revolution so now it's a socialist republic. That being said, we don't intend to invade anyone, just maybe send some spies to foment revolution. And we'll probably be concentrated on your two fundamentalist conservative neighbors, so we're probably going to be on decent terms. More so if you're also a democracy.

Also, @Voltus_Ventus, have you taken a look at my nation sheet? I want to be sure everything is good. Also I wanted to ask you if I could have armored giant bears for use instead of tanks.
Well I'm basically a not entirely backward Soviet Russia Yugoslavia, soooo
<Snipped quote by Mihndar>

Nice to see all the claims together, actually helps quite a bit. As for why Eisenkreis population is low, that's because it's only counting five of the states. Kzechverin is the largest of the states, and likely has at least twice the population, though is very backwards in almost every respect. They're pretty much the people charging into battle on horseback and under a feudal system. Despite coming under the Hegemony, they still retain their form of government, in that it's a Noble Republic in which only the landlords(I.E. nobility such as princes) can gain the throne of the country and vote for who they wish to be ruler. It's a bit wonky, but I'll make it work.

I was wondering why there was a second section that was left blank, that makes a lot more sense now. So you basically have six nations, five as more of a cohesive whole and another one that's fairly different, but all under the same official ruler.

Also, I only know what a Noble Republic is because of EU4.

Yep that really helps a lot thanks :D , i decided to claim the small islands near me and the big island is divided between Yamatai and Tiqsimuyu .

So the native nation goes imperialist. Tsk, tsk. :)
<Snipped quote by Mihndar>

Well they probably would be more lax on emigration since it is their desire (and within their interests) to seed other nations with people of their culture and religion, in the hope that it spreads. That and they have enough people to spare.

But I quoted you because I found it interesting that there was a sizable population of Tinites as all. Presuming that they did not abandon the Ajdar Faith, they would still have some degree of loyalty to Tin because its leader is also the head of their religion. Kind of like how many people in Catholic realms used to respect the Pope more than their own king, and sometimes people even paid taxes to the Papal State instead of the local lords.

Anyways, I'd imagine that relations between our nation would have been sour as of late due to yours suddenly abolishing its monarchy to create a Communist Republic. Just look at the uproar that ensued amongst nearby nations after the French Revolution abolished the nation's monarchy.

And if your nation saw Tin's monarchy as a threat (which it conceivably would) and tried to start a Communist Revolution over there, it'd make sense for Tin to seek to similarly overthrow you by sending missionaries to spread their own Conservative ideology and encourage the local Tinites and other Ajdars to rebel. Sending all these missionaries and encouraging people to move to your country would also explain why there are even Tinites over there to begin with.

So basically what I'm proposing was a Cold War-esque rivalry and war of espionage between us.

Yeah, that makes sense, and it seems likely that having a small population of Tinites would provoke such a war, considering our revolution.

I'm definitely up for it, and if you add something to that effect to your nation history I'll add something that corresponds to mine.

Also, out of boredom I drew up a really rough map of the global claims, but it's clear enough to get a general idea of how things are.

Areas with lines drawn upon them represent contested or colonial areas.

I have no idea why Yamatai only has 7.5 million people, that seems incredibly low in comparison to everyone else. Eisenkreis is kind of low but then again they are mostly inland it seems, so lower population density.
So it's a bit of an odd question, but considering this isn't Earth, can I have larger than normal bears?

I was thinking of armoring them and training them and using them as tanks, considering my nation doesn't have much industrial technology. Considering this is a fantasy NRP, it would be interesting to have a biological alternative to mechanized warfare.

If not, I can go with elephants, since those actually exist. But I'm trying to be more stereotypically Russian.
In regards to nuclear power, it's hinted at that Ytterban could make a breakthrough in that realm. Radioactivity is a known field among the Technomancers, and of course there have been efforts to make some use of the materials. Whether or not those efforts are an actual thing, I'll respect GM's wishes regarding the matter. Regardless, there would not be any kind of weaponization of the technology, even if nuclear power was a thing.

Ditto, but don't you already have those weird geomagnetic generators? Why would you want nuclear power?

Thegreenleafe, that would actually be perfect for me since we used to be an empire and I have no colonies, former or current, otherwise.
@Willy Vereb "...She will reconsider..." I'm a HE! Also, damn straight, no nukes and no jets.

What about nuclear power, but not weapons?
